Revere opens up with a fresh blast of grapefruit and other citrus notes juxtaposed over a deep woody and chocolaty oud accord. The first thing that came to mind upon the initial spray was the opening of roja elesium but I wouldn’t say they are comparable other than that. The fragrance shifts quite quickly as it dries down and the citrus starts to die off and the leather and amber really shines. The deep darkness of revere sustains throughout its very long longevity. Projection and sillage are stellar as with the other Habibi offerings and i must say... this along with a few others from this house are no brainers if you enjoy this type of fragrance. Definitely give the discovery set a buy if you have 25$ to burn.

I love this fragrance. It's like a niche take on Sauvage. Almost as if Sauvage had a baby with grapefruit and leather then settled in together with the same dry down of amber and Sandalwood. This fragrance opens rather aggressive but not in a cheap way at all. More like a green, herbal, grapefruit punch then settles into the leather and woods. Lasts quite a while and in winter feels like a warm leather hug. In warmer weather the citrus makes it easier to wear in the heat.
