I love it but attention if you put it on skin the notes would transform wouldn't not be something special but if you wear it on clothes...wow divine notes and I really mean it, just divine, it's the same smell like the one I image Archangel Michael have it with a sword in one hand and the blessing power in another, it like an Artemis ritual vibe, incense with flower but not a funeral type like the John G one that one is the definition of a Catholic funeral house, this one is a perfume for a stone lady with some amethyst necklace on her neck because you can feel the violet in it. But is by definition a NIGHT perfume an late evening one, not a day one, the person who wears this by day is a fool who doesn't understand perfume and without a single doubt not a powerful woman. Because again this is a smell for a powerful successful woman, a high career one, a girly woman, or even I don't a heiress or nobiliare woman who doesn't have the feminist powerful vibe can't wear it or can but will look pathetic. A teenager? Let be serious just if that teenager is a Nobel awarded teenager. I don't know why they name this Halloween, I would name it the sound of Artemis, the voice of Athena, the pantheon or Joanna D'Arc but not Halloween because isn't a perfume for children or for playing and if you search Jesus del Pazo you will see in his creation the powerful women suite in clothes, and if I remember correctly a lot of powerful women for European space used to be his clients especially in the early 2000s later he focused more on theater costumes and Max G....he create right now personal perfumes and his clients are the elite of the Euro feminist louge sooo.... By the way, Innocent? Really who write is does not have a nose.

My teenage love, the first scent I have fallen in love with and always need to have. I am also collecting the flankers out of my love for this beauty, especially loving Sun, Freesia and Water Lily ones. These are close to the original, with different notes highlighted. But nothing bits the original. I especially like it in summer for day-wear but it works also well in the spring and autumn, including evening when it is also very fitting. Clean, innocent, bewitching and ethereal. There is something mysterious about it, something misty and filled with eerie colors. The wearer has a mysterious aura in it and as such the name fits. I also love the color and the bell bottle. So cool and iconic. I adore it for summer day, it somehow works wonders. The scent itself is fresh and subtle. Not easily described. Floral, with watery notes and banana leaves. I feel magnolia and violets, banana leaves and watery notes, not necessary sea but maybe. I feel also vanilla and sandalwood later on, but subtly. It is a must-have scent and one of the absolute best light scents for summer. I still love it dearly. It suits me. I always love my time in it. And it projects and lasts well for an edt. 11 hours already of gentle projection. It is never tiring or heavy but I feel it on very well which delights me. Totally dreamy and relaxed. I think I still feel its echo in the morning. I love it when my scent accompanies me the entire day. My husband does not perceive it on me, so it is very safe. But I think it is because it suits me so well. If you see it try it, buy it if you like it cause this is special and wears perfectly. Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne is the intense version of this.

This has been a favorite of mine since my best friend gifted it to me when we were 16. It became my signature scent for Fancy Events, prized and most loved. In my 20s, I'd spray a scarf before traveling and envelop myself in the juicy-green-aquatic-violet anytime. I find it at once calming and energizing, and so pretty - a juicy pick-me-up for when I'm feeling anxious, stressed, or down on myself. It traveled across the country with me, only used on certain occasions. I forgot about it for a few years until I wore it to a wedding this summer and discovered my 17 year old bottle had acquired a hefty bitter note like rotting flowers, which I should've expected with the less-than-ideal storage temps that bottle has endured. Well! I just got a fresh bottle and it's exactly like it was before-before... I'm falling in love with zesty violets like I'm 16 again. I'll admit the initial spray is A Lot, but it settles, just enough, in my opinion. It doesn't smell powdery or spooky to me. Never did understand the name. On me, light incense smoke and sandalwood ground it so that lily of the valley and violet can soar. Halloween is not complicated, it doesn't take me on a journey, but it doesn't need to; it just needs to accompany me on my mine. It is the most feminine fragrance I own, which is probably why I used to save it for high femme occasions. Now we are reunited and I won't let another bottle go bitter.

This scent is a magical witch's potion, most definitely brewed in a cauldron. There's truly nothing like it. Fresh, sweet violets meet petitgrain (sour/bitter note) and pepper, finished by incense, myrrh and sandalwood, but the base somehow comes off as dirty patchouli instead. To my memory, this one had fabulous longevity and satisfactorily strong sillage. Older eau de toiletes were closer to perfume strength as perfumes are today. I preferred this frag in the cooler Spring or Fall months, because the base is heavy and patchouli-ish, and patchouli in the Summer turns my stomach. Spring would be the best season. Not a safe blind buy. Definitely for someone who enjoys oddities and dirty/clean frags. It is both childish and innocent, as well as impure and illicit. It reads as both a young scent, but then again mature. Not a sugary-sweet scent, it's weird, hypnotic and strangely addictive. Damp earth and pretty flowers. Crisp and clean, yet soiled. I am very much contemplating bringing this back to my fragrance collection. I am thinking I can still pull it off. I loved it to the last drop over half a decade ago, and it is memorable for me still. It's a frag most people would not recognize, yet one whiff will be instantly recognized by anyone who has worn or smelled this. I can see it being extremely polarizing, but a love for me forever.

This is a cult classic—at least where I live. I remember my older sister wearing it, and later on, I wore it myself during my teenage years. Back then, I went through a couple of bottles but didn’t repurchase because I wanted to explore other fragrances. A few years ago, I decided to buy again it... and it’s exactly as I remembered: a clean violet, an aquatic floral with just a little hint of tropical (maybe the babana leaf?). On my skin, this is a great performer (especially considering it’s an EDT). It lasts over 12 hours, with excellent sillage and projection during the first 8 hours. Despite the name, I think the bottle captures the essence of the scent perfectly—clean, ethereal, and feminine. If you like violets go for it. For me this is a must have and I will always have one of this in my collection. I Totally recommend it. It’s perfect for spring, summer, and fall, suitable for both daytime and nighttime (though not for very formal events). And I almost forgot to mention—it’s a real compliment-getter!

What a stunning cheap perfume! It goes through so many stages so fast, just like a woman. The opening is very sweet and almost like a summer rosè wine. I think the violet with the marine vibes is kind of giving me wine note but not a strong red wine but fruity wine. I am not a fan of wine notes. But I love this. It quickly settles into a sweet powdery violet, calms down after the initial blast. But thats not all! 10 minutes in it has the same power as the opening but less winey. Now its more marine, airy, powdery. The violet is still very prominent. The incense is very well blended and not sharp at all. I think this perfume will perform better in hot weather (I tested it in -15 degrees, still beautiful, the cold air gives it a very icy cold vibe. ) For the price id say 9/10, I could easily see this being a niche quality. No alcohol blast on initial spray, very interesting development, i just wish it was a bit slower.

I love this perfume. I have a 30ml bottle of it and the bottle is small and cute! Anyway, the perfume smells cool, relaxing and 'distant'. I like it. I think this kind of perfume is ideal to wear when you want to relax. The notes I can smell are Violet, Magnolia, Banana Leaf, Sea Notes, a bit of Myrrh and Pepper and maybe I smell the Petitgrain? I do smell something green and citrusy and I think that's the Petitgrain. I find the Violet, Magnolia and Banana Leaf notes to be the strongest. The other notes would sometimes appear but they are not that dominant. However, after 2 hours, Violet is the most dominating note. The others would hardly be detected. To my nose, at least. On my skin, the perfume lasted around 3 hours or so. On clothing and fabric, 6 hours and above. Overall, this perfume is a fresh floral type.

I discovered this one in random perfume shop while on holiday in Gran Canaria many years ago. I fell in love with it instantly although this is not my preferred scent profile. Surprisingly, Halloween has become one of the very few fragrances that I keep circling back to, I'm on my third bottle now, which is record-breaking for me as I usually get sick of scents after 15-20 ml and declutter. I guess it has earned its forever place in my small collection. I wouldn't wear it in winter or fall but it's my favourite for summer time especially when it's really hot and humid and everything else makes me feel unwell 💜

This fragrance introduced me to violet, which I now love. This is an enchanting and calming scent, I understand the nostalgia other people have mentioned. It’s a different take on Halloween, which I think is a very fitting name and works so well with the bottle and juice. This pixie potion will transport you to an enchanted icy forest cloaked in violets by the ocean... This was a blind buy for me and I really fell in love. It’s just perfection, I would drink it if I could!! I’m not sure what it is but it hits that spot for me. It’s definitely a compliment getter as well. Great longevity on clothes.

Shockingly complex given the pricepoint. Starts out as a fresh, green floral and slowly dries down to a rich, spicy, powdery violet. Longevity is decent, nothing too impressive but still pretty damn good considering the pricepoint. I really like this as a casual daytime scent, very palatable but still unique. Originally bought this because I just found the notes so odd and interesting, and I have to say I've grown very fond of it. If you like violet or green, aromatic florals in general you'll probably enjoy this. Inexpensive and inoffensive! Definitely a safe blind buy 💟

I was looking for a more grown-up version of Princess, which is one of my go-to cozy, sweet-floral scent, but feels a little immature. Maybe it's the bottle, I don't know. Admittedly, the bottle here feels pretty cheap. The juice, however, is wonderful. Violet is my HG note, has been for years, but it's so difficult to find something that does it right and that has decent longevity/sillage. This is soft but not light–sounds oxymoronic, I know, but it's true! Entering October, I think it'll be perfect for scarves and cardigans and boots.

I went through multiple bottles of this when I was younger. I looooved it and still do. It’s very unique with it’s bananaleaf and violet notes and refreshing without being ‘standard aquatic’. There’s nothing like it imo. I’ve always worn it in summer. The performance is quite good for a fresher scent. It does have the tendency to turn in a few years so get the 30 ml if you have many perfumes. It’s inexpensive, and to my perception not drastically reformulated. The name doesn’t fit the fragrance, but the violet color does.

This is the first perfume I bought myself as a teenager. At the age of 16 the name intrigued me! I swore I wanted to give off the witchy vibes the purple color gives you. I LOVE this scent. I get the aquatic violet and lily of the valley notes right off the bat. After a while I get woody and peppery notes. It’s long lasting and has great silage. I have owned many versions of this. My 2 favorites being Freesia and Water Lily. I’d recommend this to any age group. I wore it proudly at 16 and I gladly rock it in my 30’s.

This will always be my favorite perfume. It is so lovely that it brings me back to my teenage years. I have yet to find a similar scent. The violet is so precious here that I don't think it can be recreated despite the fact that I have heard people claim this is one of the easiest perfumes to make. However, I still have yet to find something that smells better or equal. I no longer find it online, so I am unable to buy it. Would appreciate if any of you guys can suggest perfumes along this spectrum ...

It is so charming. A moody, lyrical scent of violets, magnolia, water and banana leaves. Everything perfectly proportioned. Love at first sniff and it retains its uniqueness. I adore it for summer evenings and for spring. Its clarity and translucency fits warm weather and the mood fits rain. And it lasts long. It turned yellowish near transparent in my bottle for some reason, a pity, the color of violet suited it perfectly. But it is old, still Jesus del Pozo... Strange that they dropped the name.

I’ve had more than 100 fragrances in my life. I’ve tried very expensive fragrances. But Halloween is just amazing. My favorite fragrance. Lasts all day, it’s smells very intense on my skin. And of course, the violet note makes me nostalgic. I think it’s the most feminine fragrance I’ve used. The smell is addictive. I’m on my 5th bottle right now (it’s a lot considering I am always using dozens of other fragrances simultaneously). I always go back to this one. And I always get compliments on it.

I've been looking for a childhood smell that I could only describe as a tinkerbell sent. I bought this on a blind buy at Ross one day. I like Halloween so I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did. Omg! That was my smell I've been looking. It has to be the violets cuz it's nine both notes. I wear this everyday. I just wish the smell was stronger on my skin. It will last 24hrs on my clothing. But this is my go to smell. I will buy it everytime I see it at the chain stores.

So, I really don't know how I rate this perfume. I love violets so much, and I like the magnolia that comes through as well but it IS a little too cold/aquatic for me, which almost makes it lean just a liiiiiiittle bit masculine like a cheap cologne. However, I decided it needs layering with something warm and feminine so I layer it with warm vanilla scents and I love it that way. Smells so gorgeous layered and it's my favorite thing to wear now in the spring.

It is my second bottle after ten years and I can assure - it is amazing! I am also very lucky that this guy does not give me a headache, as many other perfume. I would describe the smell as mystical, aquatic, soothing, seducting in a refined way. I strongly believe that women use perfume for themselves but I cannot miss the fact that men love it also :) Love this perfume, it makes me feel that my life is a poem ;)

Old goth here, this was my first perfume and it was gifted by my nan, so it reminds me of high school days and I now wear it as a bedtime scent. Makes me feel like I can bring my nan back for a bit. Long lasting for an EDT, sillage is great and it's a mysterious and cold scent, yet super clean, summer and office friendly and inoffensive. A bit too popular maybe? It was quite popular when it was released. Love it.

Short story short.It smells like one of those modelling clay.It's aquatic and banana leaf a'right.But I feel like that green accord smells like it came from a succulent type of plant.It's Fleshy,fresh and juicy.(The leaf ofcourse).Sniff it deeply closely on your skin and there's a sour smell to it.It's a floral perfume that's got me confused.And strangely,I love it.

Cold, nostalgic and melancholic like most violet fragrances. Fresh, breezy and crisp, with green unripe banana peel and yet somehow it does not project summer vibes at all. I wish I knew why it was named "Halloween" but the name is definitely fitting to it's cold, mysterious character. Smells like moonlight, clear starry sky and white magic.

I finally got my hands on it and I actually really enjoy this. I’m not even sure if anyone has mentioned the dry down because it’s actually quite nice, very resinous which I really enjoy in a perfume. It’s a soft summery gothic scent for sure which is great for me since it doesn’t get around 60 degrees till end of November where I live.

I love this perfume! Sometimes it does come across as a boring freshie when i spray it on my skin, but sprayed on clothes that incense note really comes through and it smells like an alien invasion #iwanttobelieve :,D It actually reminds me a little of alien by mugler, but this one doesnt have that strong jasmine note obviously

I adore this scent- it smells nothing of what you might expect of a perfume called "Halloween", but somehow, still manages to fit the name. It's almost ghostly, fresh and cool, and just barely sweet enough to be noticeable. It's my go-to scent when I need something light and uplifting; definitely made me appreciate violet more.

This perfume was my signature scent through 7th and 8th grade. I definitely remember why I chose it: I was really into floral perfumes then. Definitely floral, and a tad bit summer like. It's kind of a soft toned scent at least for me. I love it, but I'm not too fascinated by it anymore. 8.9/10

I was a bit taken aback by the name and the possible vibe it implies at first, but eventually I found it one of the most special and intriguing perfumes I have ever tried. It smells like a wonderful and mysterious garden with fairies living within. My boyfriend is definitely mesmerized by it.

Feels like walking into a church on a chilly spring morning and smelling the flowers left out for an upcoming funeral service. It's quiet and lonely but you don't feel too sad. It's just peaceful. Perfect for a gentle summer gothic scent in my opinion, at least that's how I've been using it.

Halloween makes me think of autumn. A fragrance which brings freshness as a light wind and depth in the composition as a scent of colourful leaves falling down on a wet day. It was my very first parfum as a teenager and I always have a bottle of it! I just love this fragrance!

Typical mid-late 90's rose/violet/sandalwood powdery aquatic. Others in this catigory are the now discontinued Mark Cross Embrace, Giorgio Ocean Dream, Laura by Laura Biagiotti, Alfred Sung Pure, Nautica Woman, Curve for women etc. They're all in the same family.

Such a beautiful, light, crisp, violet smell without being powdery. Very fresh and ethereal. Smells like the color purple. It does have a 90s vibe, maybe that’s why I love it. Not overwhelming or cloying at all. One of my favorites! On my third bottle.

This was my signature scent for 10 years until my boyfriend at the time gifted me another one he liked. Recently i've returned to it, and although the longevity has decline, I still love it. For its price, its lovely and classy.

Very unique. Smells like 90's hair products, soap and hairspray but with longevity. It lasts forever. Heavy on musk and there's a distinct fresh-spicy note that lasts throughout the duration of the scent. A very happy smell.

I always loved the commercial of this perfume. Last year I bought it and I really love it. I smell fresh cut violets and it is a casual scents for everyday. Lily of the valley, magnolia, green-purple vibe. I love it. 4/5 V

A mystical, nostalgic scent. It definitely feels like a safe haven. Upon opening, you detect purple flowers and that mystical aroma, then it evolves into a scent like you've just stepped out of the shower.

Violets are my favorite flowers, so it was love at first splash with this perfume. If it were a film, it would be Practical Magic - violety, fresh, (later) powdery and dreamy.

This is one of the simplest and most beautiful fragrances I have ever owned. I love it and so does my boyfriend :) he goes crazy when I wear it, will always repurchase!!

Such a beautiful frosted/aquatic floral with a powdery drydown one of a kind this perfume is very well done because I usually don't like floral fragrances!

I blind bought this for the name, as I'm forever a Halloween lover. It wasn't exactly my style, though I did like it, it sat on my shelf for awhile and being October, I took it out for a spin today. So primarily this fragrance smells of freesia to me. I couldn't remember the notes so I spent the day trying to figure out what I'm smelling, and freesia was unmistakably the dominant note. I don't see freesia listed here, but I did note a review below that also claimed the "aquatic notes" come off as freesia in this scent. For those who aren't flower experts, freesia tends to come off as loud, sharp, clean, aquatic, and almost a bit like an aerosol spray from the 90s. I typically dislike freesia and recently sold off a few freesia scents I owned as I never reached for them (versace yellow diamond EDT seemed like a sunny version of a freesia scent like this). But I actually do like Halloween even with the freesia. Theres a touch of violet and just enough of the other notes to "ground" the scent, though none of the other notes stand out. I was looking for incense, as usually that note screams to announce itself on my skin, but I can't find it here. The other florals don't stand out either. This scent comes off as a bit confusing as the name and notes seem quite unrelated to what this smells like. Overall, I'd recommend this for bright loud 90s aquatic floral fragrance lovers. I like it much more than many of the iconic 90s/y2k aquatic florals, it isn't as loud, sharp, or headache-inducing. It's a gentle scent, softly radiates about 6 in to a foot from my skin for 2-4 hrs, opposed to many of the popular scents of this genre that would scream across the room all day. After 2-4 hours, this becomes a skin scent for another few hours. I tend to spray heavily, though haven't made a dent in my bottle yet. Out of similar scents in this genre, I would consider this a darker, more goth-y fragrance I could imagine a number of girls with dyed black pixie haircuts and chuck taylors wearing around y2k when I was in high school. As times and styles change, I'm not sure this would appeal to the same counterculture and likely is too bright and loud for younger people who didn't live through and develop nostalgia for the 90s/y2k era. However, if you appreciate vintage scents and like collecting perfumes that make you stand out, and have any cheesy goth/emo/scenester/punk counterculture roots like I do, this may appeal to you. Even if you like bright loud preppy scents of that era, like versace yellow diamond/pink crystal and certain Victorias Secret frags, this also may appeal to you. Despite not being a huge freesia fan, I really like this scent. It will never be a top 5 fav of mine and I will likely only wear it occasionally, but I like how refreshing and different this is than the typical summery/tuberose/sandalwood/sweet gourmands that I rotate between in my collection. My spouse really likes this scent and complimented it a lot, though I noticed he seems to like a lot of 90s scents. PS> regarding the review below, if you tested this and got ANYTHING that smells "fishy" I'd guess your bottle turned rancid. There's nothing remotely fishy in this scent, nor is there anything that smells like any sort of tank/food/chemicals that I've ever encountered, and I've owned and tested perfumes that have actual fish/caviar/realistic ocean sea notes in them. "Fishy" is a common description for the scent of rancid cooking oils and certain chemicals and beauty products that turned and are rotten.

Blind bought from Ross ($12 for 1.7oz) because she’s been in my radar. I looooove the aroma of violet. My favorite violets are Guerlain insolence edt and Violetas Francesas Cologne. For my nose this has violet but isn’t super duper violet forward. Violet is present, but not on full display. I definitely pick up aquatic notes, green freshness, and good vibes. I feel fresh out of the shower when I smell this. Dewy flowers, a misty forest, maybe a fairy would smell like this 🧚 First blast is really invigorating for me, it brings me joy. The violet is there at first. This to me is a happy fragrance, it’s fresh and clean. There’s something that brings me back to the late 90s - early 00s (my childhood). Makes sense because it’s from 1997! The dry down stays floral and a little buttery with the tuberose. After an hour it still smells watery and almost like brown sugar, vanilla, and florals. After a deep sniff I smell the incense lingering with the sandalwood. I almost sense a melon vibe. I wouldn’t reach for this if I was going on a date or going out at night, but for a day out this is an easy go-to. Would Halloween be a repurchase? Maybe. Am I happy to have it? Absolutely. I feel like I’ll pull this out in the spring and summer, or if I want to smell clean and put together. It would work year round. Halloween is really nice, I think it’s a crowd pleaser. It’s an affordable safe blind buy 💜 I’d encourage everyone to experience it.

Once I finally let go of my preconceived notion of what a fragrance named "Halloween" should be, I was able to fall in love with this beauty. But honestly, it took me quite a while to let go of that connection, or rather, lack of connection between name and scent. I really hated it for much too long. Silly me! This is as far from Halloween as one might find themselves. This is warm sunshine, crisp water, succulent blossoms, lush greenery. A beautiful tropical paradise teeming with new fresh life. At first sniff, Halloween is very aquatic, which is not a favorite of mine. But it is quick to warm up with a creamy tuberose floating beneath the waters. The fresh bitter green scent of wind-battered banana leaves. I also smell sun-warmed skin. This may sound crazy but Halloween makes me feel like a water lily floating atop azure blue waters, soaking up warm sun rays, 15 minutes after a humid tropical downpour. Halloween is a transporting scent if you are able to relax and let go. I'm glad I was able to finally do that because it's such a beautiful place to be swept away to.

Violet, aquatic notes, and green notes. That's pretty much what Halloween is. For what it's worth, this fragrance smells pleasant. There is something nostalgic about it, I'm instantly transported to the 90s. I wonder if someone I knew wore this fragrance? I like how the violet comes across as a little makeup-y, but the green notes and aquatic notes make it different from the makeup-y scents I typically love. I like how clean and gentle this scent it. It's almost comforting which I don't really associate with violet scents. I think if I came across a bottle for really cheap (less than $15) I would be tempted to buy it. This seems like a scent I would use a lot because it's light and fresh even if it's not necessarily the best scent I have ever smelled.

oriental floral?!!! come oooooon! this one is a tipical floral aquatic imo. a very long lasting one.i took a shower after 6 hrs and still could smell it. opening is loud,almost like a punch in your face with a feast full of wet viollets and after 10 min the aqua note starts to grow and doesnt stop for the rest of this perfume's life. after couple of houres it gets soft and even but still noticeable.lots of people around me like halloween so this one is a crowd pleaser butfor me sth is off in it and aquatic note is too much,causes me nausia... badly. if you like uncomplicated violets and dont mind aquatic feature its a good cheapy.but try before buy...diffenitly! cold,cold,coooooold viola!

The name Halloween may seem a bit off to some but I was born on Halloween so being a water sign it makes sense to me. I occasionally enjoy a dark, oud, heavy but the majority I'm absolutely choosing something aquatic, floral. My favorites make me feel as if I'm literally at the beach or just spent the day there. I never had much of just my birthday celebration it was about trick-or-treating for everyone in my family so Halloween is nothing special to me. What I love is the season itself. It's a time of year when the heat of summer has gone and the air is so crisp. Dewy grass in the mornings. Cool and beautiful. To me he knocked it out of the park.
