Harajuku Lovers Pop Electric Music

Nice for summer! It’s crisp, slightly sweet, light, fresh scent, like but not an exact copy of Light Blue. Update: this smells MUCH more like True Religion! But more aquatic and with a really assertive wood note. Lasting power is not great, in the low range of about 3 hours but for a freshy pick-me-up going to the store or an appointment where I don’t want to smell overpowering, I have found myself reaching for this. It’s not a commitment! I do notice the wood in this more that others of this type and I’m a fan. Maybe it’s my inner child, but I like the big heavy chunk bottle! I took the metallic figure thing off the top and it looks pretty cool on my dresser.

To me this is similar to G of the Sea, but Music has that Amber dry down, so you can wear it in the fall. What I smell the most is the amber, berries, and the water note, which is really nice. In a way I think this should have been the updated version of G of The Sea. I'm still hoping in the future we get more flankers of The Harajuku Lovers, maybe like another Jingle G, or new Sunshine Cuties. Overall I give this perfume a 10/10.

I love the Harajuku girls, and this scent was my instant favorite from the Pop Electric collection. I love the freshness of the apple, which blends beautifully into the other notes. Its a lively scent that lifts you up, and it reminds me of the energy of music. Great job Gwen!!

Although I prefer the original formula of the Harajuku Lovers 'Music' fragrance, this one is very nice too! It definitely has more woodsy and aquatic notes than the first, focusing more on the fruity floral; as in the dry down I can mainly smell the aquatic notes and the amber on my skin. Very clean, and light! This is definitely a perfume that you'd like to have on hand throughout the day to refresh it every now and then, but I actually prefer to do the 'freshen up' perfume technique rather than one morning round of spritzing and going about my day hoping it lasts. I can honestly even see this being more of a unisex fragrance, rather than just a female leaning one. :)

I blindly bought this perfume only because of the bottle design and because it was cheap. To me, this is a perfect girl-to-tween transition perfume; it's very sweet and fruity, really unoffensive if you do not overspray it... I cannot overstate that you must NOT overspray, it will get on your nerves. Thankfully, the potency doesn't last too long, and the linger is lightly musky but still sweet. Truthfully, I haven't worn it much just because I don't feel the need to smell like I'm in middle school.
