Beautiful & Wild

B&W is another stealth scent from HFC. It's deceptively simple notes wise; but amazingly well blended and complex fragrance wise. The overall scent is warm, spicy slightly sweet and so smooth...it feels almost creamy. The rose in the top doesn't really stand out, to my nose. It blends with the Litchi and Geranium to create the subtle spicy/sweetness that blooms and flows into the heart where Freesia adds a bit of freshness. Wood and spices add character and depth. I'm quite impressed with the Patchouli and its deft use by HFC's perfumers. It never pokes out, skunks up or takes over, though its soft smoky presence is noticeable. It blends so very well with the earthy, oily Orris and musky Tolu here. B&W's overall feeling is deep, smoldering, slightly sweet, and spicy alluring earthiness. It doesn't project so much as it softly wafts, especially with movement. Longevity is excellent and it could be worn in all seasons, by anyone. Beautiful & Wild could fill a certain niche in any fragrance fanatic's wardrobe.

I like this a lot. A deep rose that is not brash at all and has some lightness, airiness. It's similar to all fragrances mentioned in the "reminds me of" section, except this is lighter, more wearable, more casual. A softly jammy, red rose/geranium, with facets of humid litchi, deepened by warm spices and patchouli. Pretty.

Smells like a more mature and expensive version of Intense Cafe from Montale, here is also a rose jam as the main note, the sweetness of vanilla has been replaced by the sweetness of lychee, so this perfume is more fruity, but otherwise they are very similar. Woody, candied, juicy rose and spices.

I’m not getting much oud satin mood vibes, sure they are both rose fragrances, but that one is much more of a jammy rose whereas this one has more of a vintage rose vibe to my nose. Much less sweet. It’s not my favorite to be honest, but then I’m not much of a rose fanatic (especially not this type of rose, I prefer roses more cold and incensy (like mohur) or tangy (like Delina).

I love Manakra by Indult! It's a jammy rose, so rich, so unique, feminine, gorgeous. (180euros) Beautiful & Wild is like a dupe for Manakara, smells a cheap to my nose and if you compare the price, it's too expensive for a flatter fragrance.
