Sword Dancer by HFC 🥰It is a fragrance that lasts and makes you addicted. Each component is like a dance, a well-orchestrated melody. It's a boozy fragrance, in which the rum is warm, spicy, a little peppery, I feel the pleasant sweetness of the labdanum but here the cardamom, fir balsam and resins make it fresh and versatile in every season. It's like sipping the best glass of rum in front of an enchanted forest. Beautiful fragrance. I can't help but feel my wrists, but even without smelling myself, sometimes clouds of this wonder arrive under my nose. They say there is vetiver, I don't like vetiver at all, but if it's here, it's a delight. I also love the design of the bottle and box. È come sorseggiare il più buono bicchiere di rum davanti una foresta incantata. Fragranza bellissima. Non posso fare a meno di sentirmi i polsi, ma anche senza annusarmi, a tratti mi arrivano spruzzi di nuvole di questa meraviglia sotto il naso. Dicono ci sia il vetiver, io non amo affatto il vetiver, ma qui se c'è , è una delizia. Adoro anche il design della boccetta e della box . Unisex perfetta su di un Uomo ma anche su di me 🥰❤️

Just realized I don't have a review for one of my favorite fragrances :D this the first ever niche perfume I smelled --- I was given it by a store salesman whom I asked to give me : "something totally unique and different that isn't like anything I've used before" (telling him I mostly had fresh blue fragrances gifted to me) I fell in love instantly, but it was out of stock - so I bought Narcotic Elixir (Welton) instead who i consider to be on par (if not better) than this. Both are ambery, warm, dark CARDAMOM bombs. But, Sword Dancer is a bit sharper and boozier and deeper and darker, and Narcotic is a bit softer and spicier due to the pepper and saffron and slightly more green. One of the best purchases I ever made.

Hmmm since when only men can smell as a glass of rum served in the mountain forest? Is this a rule? No, if men can smell as floral and there are gentlemen on whom the florals stands divinely, the ladies can smell as this wonderful aromatic perfume. It smells exactly like I said of rum and mountain forest in a cold air, reminds me of childhood vacations at St Moritz where in the lobby, at afternoon time were served rum with orange syrup and cognac with nutmeg and every time someone opened the door, that cold mountain air with a specific coniferous aroma entered and enshrouded the space. Longevity on me is enormous and the smell has a personal projection and around the person as well.

When I blind buy fragrances, I rarely choose them based on the beauty of the bottle. However, when I first saw Sword Dancer many months ago, I couldn’t get it out of my head. It’s such a beautiful art piece. Then, as I was researching possible new rum/boozy fragrances, this one kept coming up. So, after trying Wrap Me in Dreams and loving it, I decided to grab this one. No regrets. Sword Dancer is very rum-forward. The balsam fir and cardamom play the most notable supporting roles. Labdanum and sandalwood are present but subtle. This is rich but not heavy, and beautifully blended. This scent is intoxicating and, in my opinion, very unisex. Made for a niche audience.

This is Glühwein in a perfume bottle! It’s the coziest Xmas hot drink: boozy, sweet and spicy! I love the idea but I am not sure if I want to smell like this, or in which occasion I would be able to use it. The most outstanding notes are: Cardamom, Rum, something woody and extra spices like Cloves. The perfume itself is very well crafted though (never smelled anything like it) and the bottle is very artfully designed ❤️ I would say it is a feminine leaning scent. Projection and longevity are moderate. Quite decent imo 💯

One of the best scents I've ever owned. It is such a beautiful scent. Warm and Rich, well blended, sophisticated and irresistible. Very long lasting, for me it is around 8-9 hours even in hot and humid weather. This perfume is very versatile, it is a rum based perfume so I was expecting this to be strong, warm and exclusive for cold weather but to my delight the scent just wrap around your body effortlessly. It never provoke or trying to stand out but yet you just can't ignore it. Highly recommend!

Well this is a delight, imagen a less resin smoky Amouage overture, not to take away from this creation, just to give a clue to the scent profile, very strong and high amount off naturals in this, the cardemom is sharp and aromatic and the rum is deep and fruity, the mid gives a green sappy smell, and unlike overture it dosent go the cumin rout, more off sparkly brisk old school vetiver The dry down 24 hours later 🤣 is warm sweet comfort its a big like for this recommended for the boozy lovers ❤️

At first this was a disappointment it was like flat day old rum and fruit juice but... I gave it many chances and it kept growing on me little by little. Now I absolutely love it the smoke off the top is f$&king amazing with the fruity rum. I think I went in expecting an effervescence and just felt disappointed but this just shows you can't give up too early

Excellent boozy fragrance. Starts off with a very strong aromatic rum note that tempers down a bit within a few minutes. The profile remains linear to being primarily a labdanum+boozy rum fragrance. Very pleasing in winters and modest performance on my skin. Unisex and great for evening wear. Shukran Habibi!

I blind bought a smaller size second hand and I'm IN LOVE. I bid 25 euros for 15 ml and I'm so lucky I got it lol. It was love at the first sniff as I received it. Smells like plum jam. I am a girl tho so idk why it's not marketed as unisex. It's not too masculine at all.

It's so warm and rich. Reminds of dried sugarcoated cranberries. Absolutely unisex. Actually it reminds me of how Wei Wuxain would smell in autumn when there's a fair around and he got some fruits and a bottle of Imperator's smile

This fragrance is quite good. Just not for me. I don’t get any of the notes listed, instead I get a super soapy Cardamom and lots of vetiver. Maybe a little bit of boozy. But the fir turns into powder on my skin. I appreciate this scent but it’s not for me.

Agree with below, this is like Amouage Overture lite, which isn't a bad thing as Overture can be a bit much for most occasions. Bright cardamom open, sat over a boozy resinous base with a touch of smoke. Excellent.

Blind buy, and loving it! Apparently my skin amplifies cardamom and rum because that's what I get and I'm totally ok with that. Absolutely unisex for sure! Very warm and rich, so definitely made for the cooler temps. Really digging HFC so far! Seems many of their offerings agree with my skin, so no disappointments so far. This is a really nice boozy scent. If you like perfumes along the lines of Kilian's Straight to Heaven, there's a strong chance you'd like this one as well.

I bought it today I that was a blind buy I was trying it with one spray on back of my hand and when I went home my wife told me “ wow fully loaded perfume ! “ I was surprised that one spray made it all this long very noticeable ! Seems long lasting and projects pretty well indeed

i love this, im not usually drawn to such fragrances but wow. reminds me of myrrhe mystere by tom ford as they both smell like orthodox church candles on the drydown. pretty masculine buy i personally love it as a woman

Amazing fragrance. The problem is, I could only smell it on the packaging because it leaked until there was nothing left in the bottle. I would never buy anything from this house again. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!
