Vannifolia

This one took time. First time I sprayed I was like “whatttt”. And not in a good way. It took about three weeks for the scent to be better blended, I checked two to three sprays every week. This is a mix of 30% gourmand sweet and 70% spicy vanilla. Now it’s beautiful, very strong and lasts forever. But I can tell it will be even better with time. Vanilla Aura was better blended from the beginning (but it is also getting better day by day), but this one is more beast mode. They are very similar and at the moment Vanilla Aura smells more elegant. If you have patience, it’s a great buy! 9/10

First impressions: I blind bought this with fear due to the recent divided opinions on Vanilla Aura. This was a total success! Starts with spicy lemon/bergamot on top of a dark seductive bed of Vanilla with ambrette. It's BEAUTIFUL! It smells "rich". This is a perfume that a millionaire lady would wear, on her satin super expensive robe when she will go lay in her very expensive bed. It's sweet, spicy, dark vanilla extract with a hint of citrus. I will write an udpate once this has sat for a while.

I can't compare this to any other perfumes, I haven't tried Guerlain or Vanilla Aura. However, as a standalone perfume, this was one of my favourite vanilla scents in 2025. It's warm spicy while being comforting and cosy. It has a great longevity, my shoulder-lenght hair normally touches my neck after spraying perfumes, and I can smell this in my hair for days. I've got a lot of compliments while wearing it so am very happy with it and chose it over other ones during the cold season.

The reviews of disappointed people who expected it to be a 1-1 dupe to Vanilla Planifolia make me laugh. Vanilla Planifolia contains the most expensive and exclusive Vanilla extract in tne world, thus the price of 600eur for bottle. Did you really expect the Arabian dupe house to use the same exclusive ingredient and sell the 100ml to you for 30eur and...lose money? :) you know, life contains way less disappointments when we use your brain

I like this, but it also reminds me of the smell of my grandmother's home 40 years ago, so I don't think I will get the big size. Sample is enough

Beautiful scent. Long lasting. Blind buy but so glad I purchased. Good additional to my vanilla collection.

Really love this one. It's soft and cozy and inoffensive. Perfect for everyday wear.

Vannifolia starts off on my skin as if Phlur made a new body mist called Amber Smoke. It's smoother than Vanilla Smoke. Though, I adore Vanilla Smoke. Then someone blows a LaCroix amount of Grand Soir and Domino no.5 Essence (Rosendo no.5 dupe) into the mix. Somehow, all of that becomes a vanilla orchid which is a fantasy note but it smells real here. The vanilla floral is true. Maybe splash a teensy bit of Orchidée Vanille in the drydown. Now, all of that together is Vannifolia. Whatever spice there is is simply imparting warmth to my nose. I'm not discrediting others who say it's spicy I just know my spice tolerance levels are higher so I don't perceive this as spicy. Cashmere sweater. Tender. Leisure. Fine dining. Dim lights. Hushed voices. This fits in at museums, libraries or any place you wouldn't dare make a scene. The public places that hold more gravitas. Antique. Measured. No loud colors or prints. On performance, it almost immediately goes airy on me. I can smell all white ambers but this is the one scent that's playing hide and seek on me. It's sheer in the air and more present on my skin. Lasts at least 8 hours and as long as it reaches that point I'm fine. If you find my review discordant, in my opinion, yourbela's is pretty accurate to my nose. Even though, I perceive Vannifolia differently amber is a major note I pick up. This is a first wear impression. I do enjoy this but one bottle is all I need. Will not repurchase. It truly is good. No alcohol blast in the opening, layered but it's too well-mannered. The perfect dinner guest but not that memorable. 12/22/25 Second impression, Orchidée Vanille hit me hard. This has to be my skin chemistry. The first minute it was all I could smell. Then the amber smokiness with a vanilla flower starts but OV is still lurking. It's weirding me out. This is reminding me to make OV a like. I'm seriously scheming to on what to mix this with. So, it's complex but Orchidée Vanille is haunting me. I smell amber heavily but vanilla may be in equal measure because of the now very strong OV reminder. P.S. I checked my rating for OV and it was already a like, lol. 12/23/25 Final update, Vannifolia is no more. I mixed this with a white floral perfume and now it's divine.

I received a decant of this from a friend to try as I explore more vanilla forward fragrances and this is one of my favourites that I’ve tried so far. It seems a bit more grown up than some of the recent offerings which can lean very sweet especially if they have a combination of other sweet notes as well This is vanilla done right and at the moment it’s top of my vanilla list for a full bottle purchase

What a pretty, mildly powdery vanilla benzoin perfume. This smells warm and fuzzy like a fluffy cashmere sweater in texture. It’s sweet and there’s a golden amber feeling but it’s never heavy. It definitely smells far more expensive than it is. This stuff is eternal. It’s lasted all day on me 8 hours and still going.

PROS: 95% close to OG; ABSOLUTELY NUCLEAR BEASTMODE PERFORMANCE; this brand does amazing work with Clones (gigglepuff and bacchus) Opening first few sprays , I was grossed out because it was soooo medicinal and offensive and synthetic. Sooo turned off . Then I popped my “‘Marilyn Monroe” went to bed and 7 hours later I woke up and it was sooo strong, it overtook my entire room. That drydown was pumping on my skin . Cough syrup on steroids . 🤮🤮🤮I was still underwhelmed... kept telling myself “I’m going to learn to like or at least appreciate this “. Let me let it cook and mature . Sprayed it a week later , and it got alot better . Two more weeks , better. 2 months later , better . Post maturation : I hate citrus in fragrances bc it’s soooo déclassé and cheap and smells like bug spray . I don’t wear bug spray . Sophisticated gentlemen don’t pay $$$ to smell like a janitor . I have better taste than that. I’m not sure why females like this Because this DNA is masculine leaning . Vanilla is my fav base note and I love vanilla dominant or hybrids. However, this dna is not for me bc it’s tooooo citrusy (think locker room , axe spray , and Lysol all together in funky men’s locker room mixed with vanilla . The citrus and repulsive spices overpower the vanilla . The problem here is the opening and mid last wayyyy too long and are the most repulsive , abominable citrus and spices that smell like medicinal cough syrup when they shouldn’t . (fYI : I like challenging ME fragrances but this DNA is gross). However , the drydown is A-mayyyyyy-zzzzzingggggg (reminds me of Gaultier2 by JPG -pure vanilla and amber ) but it took away too long to get there. Honestly I just don’t like the dna and screechy opening and can’t see the wow factor with the OG. There are so many better vanillas out there . (Try vanilla seduction or Hawas elixir if you want spicy vanilla without citrus ) vanilla seduction is amazing and leans feminine and has beastmode performance as does Hawas elixir but leans masculine. Vanifolia is kinda gross 🤮 and not pleasant or smooth . But if you like this DNA, I would say - this is a no brainer based on performance. I just can’t handle this toilet bowl cleaner citrus in opening with the rancid spices . I was planning on keeping it only to help me lose weight bc I lose all hunger for 6 hours after spraying it . But I sold it bc life is too short to try to force yourself to like anyone or anything. I love vanilla but this isn’t a pure vanilla bomb. It’s not a safe blind buy and it’s veryyyy challenging. Only wear this to repel men and bugs . This can clear out a whole nyc subway. This is a weapon of mass destruction and mass extinction!

I’ve had this for about a month, and it’s already improved in that time, so it may still need longer to mature. If it changes further, I’ll update this. This is a cosy, gently powdery vanilla with musky, European fabric-softener energy. It reminds me of the clean vanilla-musk combo in Avant l’Orage by Maison Matine. It brings to mind buying French body washes in Monoprix - a little too refined and neutral for me personally, but I imagine most people would find it very likeable. It has the gentle profile of a skin scent but with surprisingly good projection. Notes *not Gourmand, not even gourmand adjacent *the type of Amber gives it a kind of "mature" mom quality. People who wear this probably had moms in estee lauder perfumes in the 80's. <3 *The kind of perfume no vanilla lover will hate, but you can't imagine anyone smelling it and saying "what is that? I have to have it!"

Disappointed. I don't know why I believe Vanille Planifolia can be duped. It probably can't. This is sweeter, the spices are missing in my opinion. It's not bad but it's not a dupe of Vanille Planifolia. Treat it as a standalone and you might not be disappointed.

There's something really cloying and nausea inducing about it. Almost oily. I have allowed it to age for half a year, to no avail. Will give it away, if I can find somebody who will take it.

This is HEAVENLY. A very niche vanilla, not your basic vanilla extract. I have hundreds of perfumes but this is my favorite. This is so sexy. A very night time (all the time for me), expensive, hypnotic vanilla. This gives the vibe of a high rise penthouse overlooking the city in a little black lace piece. This is a man magnet, I can confidently say I have never had so many compliments from my guy friends and man on anything ever before. If you want to captivate someone, this is what you wear. Its not for everyone, but damn it is for me.

This thing is foul. I put it on my hand in a shop and 12h later it's still there. That would be a compliment if the smell was nice, but I don't see why anyone would want to smell like this. It smells like the armpits of an unwashed person with a little bit of vanilla.

This smells more like vanilla planifolia to me than vanilla aura. It’s so beautiful I love it
