Fior di Talco

Adorable dainty talcum powder: a cloud of ethereal lemon with a transparent vanilla dust. Weak but excellent, in a babyish cuddling way or to go to bed. Ed: summer heat, the more I wear it the more I enjoy it! So fresh and clean, and sweet in the same, the lemony violet and discreet vanilla cloud it everything I want from a perfume right now. Not so weak if sprayed on my cotton Tshirt. I love it.

The opening is quite harsh citrusy, almost raspy, but fortunately it goes away very quickly leaving a floral-talcum smell that is old school clean. On my skin it dries out in a nice musky vanilla, that I can smell after hours if I move my arms around. I use one or two sprays on my arms because I find it decently strong. I am thinking about layering it with some old school musk fragrance like Alyssa Ashley pure musk (which I don’t own yet), and see if I can get some of that musk straight away from the beginning and soften that opening very annoying lemon.

Cute lemony, talcum and powdered sugar scent. I'm used to very light scents so for me this is quite "heavy", so I'm using it in winter to soften the otherwise rough edges of this fragrance. This was the only perfume I brought with me to a trip to Paris and now I associate it with strolling through Lafayette gallery and eating lemon sugar crêpes <3

I bought this because Sammy 7 below wrote that this is similar to Borotalco. And indeed this is quite close! As a Borotalco fan girl I am very pleased with this purchase. Liking the bottle, too.

A pleasant, easy-to-wear everyday scent. To me, it leans more toward a clean, soapy citrus vibe rather than a powdery, talcum-like feel. The projection and longevity are surprisingly strong, making it perform better than expected for such a fresh fragrance.
