Capsene

I really really love this perfume and if it lasted longer and had more silage oh, I would definitely buy it again. The smell is amazing, just like cutting into a green bell pepper. fresh green smoothie at the co-op or at a summer or spring Market. Feels wonderful right out of the shower

Smells an awful lot like a salad bar... but in a good way? Opens with STRONG and very accurate green bell pepper. Then comes the cucumber, black and pink peppercorns, and a light mist of citrus. It was at this point my dog tried to eat my wrist. He’s a produce lover. After the opening, Capsene softens to a well blended, but very peppery scent. Individual notes all pop out here and there but for the most part it’s a solid mix of all the listed notes. I like it a lot and thought I’d love it on my man even more but, much like the over abundance of pepper I apply to most of my food, this perfume makes me sneezey. This would be a great choice for anyone looking for a scent that is equal parts spicy and green, as long as the pepper doesn’t irritate your sinuses. Longevity is unexpectedly huge. I wore this about 5 hours before it was time to shower and sleep, but it was still noticeably there in the morning. Moderate throw. It could be detected across the room for the first 30 minutes or so and settled about 6 inches from the skin thereafter. A ‘like’ from me. Could have been a ‘really like’ if not for the sneezing.

Ooh, Capsene is fun! Really does smell like a fresh green bell pepper, but not so one-to-one that it would be unwearable. There is a lot of general green freshness here, cucumber wateriness, and some tart citrus (bergamot) as well. I do get the pickle aspect, but it doesn't smell like a jarred dill pickle. It's over all too fresh, so more like a quick pickle, or some fresh vegetables that have been tossed in rice vinegar. It's not off-putting. I don't know if I would purchase this because it does still, in the end, smell like food, but it's a fun one :)

I got this as part of the Helio sniffing set and was most intrigued by Capsene. It's a sweet, vegetal green and all the notes-green pepper, cucumber, black pepper- are immediately there. As it dries down the black pepper comes more to the forefront, and there's recently baled hay, still a bit green, and damp earth. Someone described Afternoon of the Faun, also Ralf Schweiger, as smelling like a health food store. I love that one, but I know exactly what they mean. To my sniffer, Capsene is a greener sibling-closer to the produce aisle.
