Le Chant d'Achille

I really love this one. This is like dry warm laundry you are picking up from the dryer. To me it's more of a late spring scent rather than a summer one, but can't wait to try it out on sun kissed skin. I get that someone is comparing it to Tilia, probably because of the yellow florals but, this scent doesn't have the remote sweetness of Tilia, and immortelle is such a specific note that shines in Achille - and has a stronger focus on the dry down warmth with the vetiver and musc. As someone who's spent their childhood on the Mediterranean seaside this also smells very nostalgic - a very warm, sun kissed, salty immortelle. A really lovely composition and definitely one of my favorites from the house.

God I love this thing. Am I the only one getting a metallic vetiver similar to tom ford grey vetiver / bois imperial in the dry down about 45 minutes later once the neroli / orange blossom calms down? I loveeeeeee this. I bought their discovery kit and really loved this one, Les Dieux aux Bains and Les Bras de Morphée. Probably will end up with all 3 bottles before 2026 is over. Love this house!

Running neck & neck with Les Bras de Morphee as my favorite from the Hellenist. Bright and warm citrus floral. It's the beautifully blended neroli, orange blossom and vetiver notes that stand out to me and that I love the most.

Reviewing a bottle from 2025.Le Chant d'Achille was launched in 2024. This is a sunny fresh clean citrus floral. Le Chant d'Achille opens with fresh peppery neroli. There are subtle florals (not distinct) and immortelle. Clean musk lends a soapy feel with a mossy drydown. Overall linear performance. Quality -good Unisex - the florals are very subtle Performance- average for a citrus fragrance A clean citrus neroli freshie with decent performance. Not my favourite Hellinist as neroli which is prominent here does not agree with me. My personal favourites are Les Dieux aux Bains and Les Bras de Morphée. 7/10

Opening: Very much a citrus, white floral fragrance. This has that bright neroli, lemon, and a bit of black pepper playing on the side. As it dries down: You get this sort of animalic, “pissy” quality to it. I don’t know if it’s from the black pepper mixed with the musk and orange blossom (which sometimes gives off that sweaty smell). I can also detect a bit of a mossy smell in the fragrance. Overall: If you like your typical citrus-white floral scent but with an added sweaty, slightly metallic, sharp peppery smell, you're going to like this. 3/5

Opens with "grandma" white florals and dries down to artificial pancake syrup (surely the immortelle). Blegh

This is an absolute beauty of a neroli and my favourite perfume atm. At first it’s like a citrus cologne with lemon, orange blossom and neroli, but it has a warm sepia-tinged heart that dries into an arid, sun-bleached grassy immortelle and vetiver. It makes me think of walking along a coastal headland on some Greek island, with rock rose and ochre grasses swaying in the gentle breeze and sweeping into the distance in one direction, and a crystalline azure ocean stretching out to the horizon in the other. Little white chapels dotting the landscape and glinting in the sun as it sets, casting a golden amber light across the landscape. Smelling this one blind, I thought it was a beach type of scent. I pictured something you would wear while sitting in the sand, blue skies, waves crashing in front of you. I looked at the notes to see what could be giving off that vibe, and alas, it's the neroli, lemon, and orange blossom combination. In the opening, I definitely got a lot of orange blossom. It reminded me of a lighter fresher version of MYSLF edp. But after a few minutes, that lemon really decided to pop off. At that point it changed from beach vibe to springtime brunch vibe.

This perfume came to my life first as a sample because i got a full size of Les Bras de Morphee (iris/violet scent) and immediately fall in love. Its citrusy 🍋 + immortelle and orange 🍊 blossom. I don’t get the people who says it’s similar to La Baguette 🥖 by Fendi as I have both and they have NOTHING TO DO! It’s medium projection and good sillage. Perfect for summer and unisex! I really like it! Not a full bottle 100 ml but maybe worth to try the travel size (15 ml). Highly recommended

When I first spayed this on skin I smelled almost nothing for about a minute. Then the notes started blooming on my skin. It is the most beautiful airy, white floral skin scent. It reminds me a bit of Opus Kore, but not as “shampoo” forward. It’s light and effervescent, like you’re standing in an English flower garden. It’s 72° with a slight breeze. Absolutely stunning scent

Imagine water infused with lemon slices and neroli blossoms. Wash a stack of fluffy white cotton towels in it, then pull them warm from the dryer. Bury your face in the towels and inhale. That's what this perfume smells like.

Doesn’t hold a flame to VC&A Neroli Amara. This smells like catpiss or a port-a-john up close. Not kidding. Once it dries down not as terrible but man don’t compare this to the beauty that Neroli Amara is.

This one is a citrus with a clean laundry vibe. Careful if you are sensitive to immortelle as the note is very prominent here.

This reminds me of a much weaker version of Tilia. Just get Tilia!
