Dentelle Au Coeur

The tuberose of my dream: you either hate it or love it. At first it feels like smoke, like fog, like some whimsical place on earth. Then the tuberose explodes, with all its intoxicating yet subtle smell. It's not for everybody, and not only for the very high price. This perfume it's like a drug: strong, addictive... The trail it leaves it so soft you could not believe it. Buying this in the future would be real luxury.

All of the things I love most about tuberose in one place; with no distractions. Is it worth the MSRP? Absolutely not, nothing consumable is; especially not fragrance. Do I have regrets? Yes, I regret that I have no regrets <3

The best tuberose perfume in the world! Spice, sweet and fresh,powerful as well! Only this tuberose perfume can remind me of real tuberose flower that I grow in my pot.

Not sorry I spent the money on this. Magnificent. A perfect tuberose soliflore - spicy, green, glorious.

Thanks to a friend I got a tiny sample of this scent, and oh boy! A small amount can cast giant shadow. According to her, this perfume has a green, spicy, cold methyl salicylate ("winter green" "vics vapo") opening of tuberose — think Tubereuse Criminelle but less...well...criminal. But I didn't get any of that. Instead, I got a sweet, cheerful, optimistic opening, a sweet floral mixture somehow manage to have a nose tickling musky effect but there is absolutely no musk perceived. Like all good old perfumes, this scent is meant to be appreciated as a whole, nothing should sticks out. But I do recognize one note: a bright, sweet, banana-y ylang . And it's stays there from beginning to end, never steps out of focus. The actual tuberose manifest itself as a typical “raw potato” -like starchy-powdery tone — think Sotto La Luna Tuberose by Tauer but much more toned down, which somehow sidelined by the aforementioned ylang. What truly "magical" about his scent is its projection: it's HUGE, but NEVER AGGRESSIVE. By "aggressive" I mean stuff like Tom Ford or Portrait of a Lady, it's a hard projection, a punch in your face. Dentelle au Coeur, instead, has a strong but soft presence, I can sense it 10 yards away, but it feels like a cashmere blanket, It embrace you, not attack you.

The watery-green (stemmy) aspect is too strong, otherwise very good :)

Nothing like FM Carnal Flower, Nacotic V. It is very high end smell. Low pojection, slightly green, slightly menthol, slightly spicy tuberose. Not sweet, very natural. After smelling it, you will feel 90 percent of fragrance in the market smell synthetic and sceechy.

The weirdest thing I’ve ever smelled but it’s SO GOOD. It smells exactly like those wintergreen lifesaver mints or chewable pepto. Very cold menthol kind of smell, minty, green, but has a beautiful underlying floral. The tuberose is of HIGH quality.
