Dirty Mango

The initial citrus-mango juicy burst quickly fades into a delicious mandarin orange and kulfi Creamsicle, and stays that way for 4-5 hours. Certainly a summer fragrance, and probably best in the daytime. It's sweet, smooth, and uncomplicated - but still reasonably mature. This was a completely blind purchase, and almost exactly what I was expecting. And as an aside that has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of this particular product... ...I am mystified as to why so many fragrance houses have chosen this sort of black and white, sans serif style of minimalism for the labels on their creations - especially this particular brand. For all the lushness and sex-appeal of their wonderful fragrances, Heretic has chosen a label and font style that seems better suited to selling computers. Addendum - I feel that I should add that this particular fragrance has rapidly become one of my favorite summer-time scents, and I've been very pleased with the performance (especially for a warm weather fragrance). The juicy, creamy mango is perfect for hot days.

This smells exactly like a mango lassi on me, it is absolutely delicious. It is not “dirty” at all, just mango, and a very beautiful and realistic mango at that. I love it for summer, I just wish it lasted more than a few hours!

MANGO 🥭 fruity, delicious, sweet and creamy. Dirty it is NOT. Love this! Great for layering or ramping up mango in other scents.

I couldn't stand it the first time I tried it. It smelled absolutely sickly sweet and overwhelming. I gave it a couple of months and tried again now. It can still be a bit much at times, but on other days I quite enjoy it. I'd give it a 3.5/5. It has sweet, creamy, juicy mango and citruses with a sugary backbone, and last but not least, it's sophisticated enough to not be too juvenile. It's still a youthful fragrance, but done well. The brand admits that naturally derived ingredients mean the perfume doesn't last that long, but I find both the sillage and lasting power quite strong.

I could be wrong but I believe God Of Fire was inspired by this as it came out 2 years before. SHL made GOF a bit more masculine and then the ME houses took over with tons of dupes. Dirty Mango is no longer on the Heretic page as it was 165 and you can get Vulcan Feu,Opulent Dubai it whatever mango scent you prefer and it lasts way longer. DM is more feminine than masculine and as mentioned already the price made no sense in todays economy.

I have cleaning products that smell better than this perfume.

I have had a bottle since 2018. Unfortunately it has gone bad. I've kept it in the box, in my cool, dark closet. It started to turn this year. I just sprayed it again, and it's just not the same. It's pungent, dirty, woody?, very little mango. It also has a strong fabric softener/fabuloso cleaner smell to it. I'm so sad. It's almost as if it's aged to what it was supposed to be, minus the fabuloso whiff at the end. The color of the juice is still perfect, it's just no longer fresh. I suppose because it's an all natural fragrance. I hate that it's discontinued. That's what prevented me from wearing it all the time. I have perfumes from 2010 that smell the same. I was hoping to keep this around a little longer. I'll grab a new bottle if Heretic decides to release it as a limited edition like they sometimes do. It's normally like biting into a sweet, succulent mango. Not "dirty".

I tried this one after heretic's "dirty grass" (which is beautifully bitter, and green) and was expecting something fruity, but far less sweet... perhaps a little bitter, like when you get closer to the pit of a mango. instead- this is artificial mango flavoring or an overripe mango- lacking the nuance of an actual mango fruit. it is cloyingly sweet on me. other users mango lassi reference feels right.

A delicious citrus-mango with some basey musk in the background. It doesn't have the same 'gourmand' quality that you'd expect, I mean, it's still incredibly fruity and sweet, but it's not an uber sweet scent. It starts off a bit like a mango dessert, but it evolved rather quickly and settles to the point where mango is part of the scent (as opposed to it being THE scent), and from that, it dries down to a slight woody-mango base, lasting a good 8 to 10 hours. I only got the 15 ml bottle, and when (if) that runs out, I might not hunt down any more. It's pleasant and weird enough for my tastes, but by and large, it's a little bit too sweet to consider getting more...

Dirty Mango is very pleasant, and I'm not a mango lover. It's citrusy and tropical but not particularly bright. Heretic does citruses well, and this is no exception. The lemon and orange here are tart and sweet, and they nicely balance the warm starchiness of the mango note. Geranium and soft musks temper what might otherwise be too girly. While it's uncomplicated, it's not juvenile. There's nothing particularly dirty here, but that's almost a given with this house. It's not really for me, but I definitely like it more than the majority of mango-heavy scents I've experienced.

This fragrance is awesome! I'm surprised there aren't many reviews. It's very long lasting, natural, and delicious. Perfect balance of fresh and sweet. Not fem at all. And very unique! High quality in my top 10.
