Nosferatu

after hearing so much about this fragrance and dreaming of the day i would work up the courage to buy a sample, the universe seemed to hear my pleas and bestowed a wonderful surprise upon me as i was window shopping today. there she was, in all her 30ml glory, ready to be sampled. friends, when i tell you she is everything described and more oh my goodness... it's fragrances like this that make me love perfumery and fragrance as a hobby. it genuinely does smell "cold" somehow. as i got ready to leave this morning, it had been a rainy damp misty morning, but by now the sun had come out as though the rain was never there. yet, when i sprayed this i was immediately taken back to the foggy misty morning i woke up to; the dampness like wet pavement, the dewdrops on blades of grass, the greyness of the morning, all of it. the perfume immediately gives the image of a foggy misty morning in like... i've never been but i'd imagine it's what Stonehenge would smell like lol. the vast open field, and then damp stone. the smell of an open forest clearing in the aftermath or preceding a strong rain, but nested between theres this rock/pavement smell... it brings the imagery of like a crumbling castle overridden with moss and ivy in my head. what shocks me even more though is that even after two hours and a subway ride home, the fragrance *still* sits on my skin like this. i would have expected such a delicate and fleeting scent to have been gone by now, but its longevity is surprising me! it def sits very close to the skin, so no strong silage unfortunately, but when you get a whiff of it it's so attention grabbing. after telling myself no more purchases this week... i walked out with a roller ball and a 2ml sample to tide me over as i debate on purchasing a 30ml of it... i don't know when exactly i'd wear this, but im extremely happy to find that i don't have to rush to make a decision on this now :)

Finally have a bottle of this. It has been somewhat difficult to source in the U.K., given it's produced in The States. It's not entirely what I was expecting, although I am thoroughly enjoying it. I find it bears little or no resemblance to Nosferatu himself, but rather captures the melancholia and dread of Ellen Hutter (played by Lily-Rose Depp) perfectly. Decaying lilacs in a cold dark room. The smell of petrichor seeping through an open stained glass window. Blackened clouds rolling across the valley, rife with the electrical discharge of an impending thunder storm. It is as beautiful as it is forlorn in its wistful sorrow. I would have loved the lilac note to pull slightly stronger, but that is hardly a deal breaker. It layers really well with lilac and/or Violet oils, should I wish it to feel a little less bereft. It also layers wonderfully with Angel Dust by Fugazzi, on my skin at least. I find Angel Dust adds the tiniest sliver of sunlight and hope to Nosferatu's otherworldly broodiness. Performance is moderate, which would feel frustrating given quite a high price tag for a mere 30ml bottle, but this fragrance was never intended for everyday or 'all day' wear. I think it would be a bit much for an entire day given that you really must be in the mood for it. She is not an imposing scent, but neither is she an easy reach. If you're on the hunt for the smell of an immortal Count who lives in a crumbling Transylvanian castle, I'd still class Hermann à mes Côtés me Paraissait une Ombre by Etat Libre d'Orange as the ultimate vampire fragrance. It somehow conveys extreme wealth with your impending demise, and for that reason alone it is well worth a try.

Mildew, fresh, misty, floral, wet. I think this perfume did exactly what it intended to do. My face when I first smelt this was beyond surprised, because it perfectly captured this very nostalgic smell of many buildings in the Philippines: a secretion of this mouldy mildew smell, caused by the heavy rain that the Philippines often receives, humidity and trapped moisture. To many that sounds like an unpleasant smell but to me, I've been chasing that nostalgic scent for years. I'm happy I relived it with this fragrance. Nosferatu smells like an extremely wet day driven by a thick layer of moisture from a rainstorm, the concrete buildings don't stand a chance against the smell of mildew, and theres a lovely floral garden arrangement outside in front of an old church, covered in drops of dew with dark grey clouds beyond view. The opening began with the smell of wet concrete, of course, and something fresh like a minty cucumber?? The dry down is quite wearable. It's clean, sweet and fresh, but still able to portray that sense of melancholy. The florals in this are so cute. I just picture Ellen holding the bouquet of lilacs at the beginning of the film. "Why have you killed these beautiful flowers?" Honestly, if you feel a sense of happiness seeing a big dark raincloud and the distant sounds of thunder becoming louder and louder, you'd love this.

I created an account specifically to review this perfume because it baffles me: it smells wet, and it smells cold. I am genuinely stunned as to how someone achieved the sensation and vibe this perfume gives me. Tried it in a travel size because it was recommended on a list of spooky perfumes, and even though I don't generally like floral scents, the review convinced me. The florals aren't overwhelming at all and give the genuine impression of wilted flowers, though I don't get the notes of decay that some do. What I'm stunned by is what I would consider the most prominent scent of petrichor. I don't know how to describe it other than the sensation of standing in a dark, damp cave. I can see where some people might get a mild mildew out of it, but it's not an unpleasant note to me. I cannot emphasize enough that this smells *cold.* Not in the way mint smells cold. Cold in the way rain and wet stone smell cold. Nosferatu confuses me. It scares me a little. Needless to say, I'll be saving for the full bottle and making it a daily scent. 10/10 what the fresh hell am I smelling and why do I like it so much

Oh my gosh, I love this. However, I agree with some of the listed "cons". To start with positives, I don't have anything else that's similar. I'm fascinated by how the perfumer created the fresh rain (petrichor) note which is an aroma that makes it easier for me to breathe. Wearing this puts me in a better mood. Now then, there is a (very) brief phase that is oddly death-like, but it's hard to describe why. It's not disgusting or repellant, but I get an image of decaying leaves and darkness. Other than the petrichor, there are bright (but light), unique floral notes which must be the lilac and violet combination. I love that aspect. Nosferatu is not a powerful scent, but that's fine as I prefer colognes that don't leave a wake. The longevity should have been better, and for the price, the bottle is too small. Therefore, I'll save this for special nights. I feel wearing this will tell people you're not like everyone else. If you enjoy the smell of petrichor, I would absolutely sample it.

What it is supposed to smell like: Dublin after rain. Wet concrete, wet sand, wet stone, wet metal, wet wool and cloth from passersby; wet lawns and parks; wet newspaper and wet cut flowers outside a store. The sun is starting to burn through the sea fog, but it won't last. It will be cloudy in half an hour. It will probably rain again, the fine kind you can walk through like a spiderweb. It's never really dry here. Here, there's a cemetery with a bigger population than the city itself; a city centre with a history of blood. Dracula was written in Dublin, you know. Don't like it? Good. More for me. I like wearing it on its own or layering it with pretty much anything (Ten Fifteen by Room 1015 in particular).

Instant blind buy, right up my alley-- a delicate gothic violet (gothic doesn't have to mean dense or heavy!) It's dark but airy, and gives the feeling of a cold fog, a violet flower battered after a thunderstorm. Behind the lovely violet is something not pretty, a little creaturely, maybe the touch of oud/ambergris, lurking in the background. I know this image is conjured from the association with the film, but I picture a vampire stepping out into a rainy night, trying to mask its faint whiff of decay with violet petals. I don't think that the delicate nature of this fragrance means it's not layered or interesting. Personally, I think it's a delightfully unexpected choice, and much prefer it over another gothic rose beast. It's a unique violet (I've tried a lot of violets) while still being wearable. Interestingly, out of my whole collection this is the one people have been wanting to borrow the most. It's a little different on everyone and moves with them in an eerie cloud.

Nosferatu takes me somewhere different every time I wear it. The first time, it was to a cemetery I once visited in Paris. Wet soil, desecrated graves, and rot. It smelled like I stole wilted flowers off of a headstone on my way out. The second time, it smelled like making potions with your friends in elementary school, smashing flowers with rocks at the base of the flower beds in the rain. The next day is warm and sunny. The flowers begin to rot and brown. By the following day they are dry, wafting as you walk up to your doorway like potpourri. Nosferatu is incredibly unique, shape shifting, atmospheric and unlike anything I (or you) have ever tried. It is death, decay, and wet rocks, but pleasantly so. I did buy a full bottle because it's such a visceral experience that I couldn't imagine *not* buying one, but it is not a daily wear for me. That said, it layers incredibly well with brighter florals like Haxan, creating a haunted, atmospheric forest.

Lilac is one of my favorite flowers. I've been looking for a lilac perfume for a long time. All I've tried smell really fake, are too sweet floral or fade instantly. I searched again recently after not looking for years and was intrigued by Nosferatu. I hesitated to by a sample because some reviews said it was a wet dirt smell and I wasn't sure I'd like that but took the chance and I'm so glad I did! The lilac note last for a few hours on me and it's really lovely. The petrichor note lasts a longer and the dry down is soft amdery smoky wood musk that I love just as much as the lilac. It does have a cold damp earthy scent that to me smells like the damp mulch covered planting bed beneath our lilac bush. It does remind me of weeding in a cool morning under that bush when it's in bloom after a hard rain. It's beautiful and unique. I ordered a full bottle and, after seeing it was a limited edition, two more during the black Friday sale.

Nosferatu was my literal introduction into the fragrance world. I never wore perfume. I’m not sure why the repetitive exposure to the ads on Facebook sold me as someone who didn’t wear perfume. But it did. And I don’t know if I’m just crazy lucky, but my very first perfume sample spiraled into a full size bottle and my absolute signature scent. And now I’ve sampled dozens of fragrances from various houses and nothing scratches the itch that this one does. It’s the most perfect delicate floral with a wet earth quality. Cold and mossy. The petrichor note is just perfection. I wear this every day, and I fear my precious bottle will be gone by the summertime. Already debating buying a couple more because I can’t live without this scent now. 😮💨 My literal only complaint is the sillage and longevity. I douse myself in the morning and have to reapply on my lunch break at work. Unfortunately, it’s still beyond worth it for me.

I love, love, love, this scent soooo much. The first time I sprayed it on me it was a little bit overwhelming and I worried that it would give me a headache but luckily that did not happen. Opens smelling like wet dirt, moss and rock. I LOVE IT, makes me think of the worms underneath the Earth. I feel like a gothic dream in a rainy cemetery. Once it dries down, it is suchhh a beautiful floral scent without being super overly sweet (which is something I don't like about floral scents.) The projection is okay, it is definitely more on the intimate side which is fine. I think the longevity is pretty good... the days I have worn this in the morning I can still smell it on myself in the evening, albeit weaker. I was fortunate enough to get a full bottle for my bday from my boyfriend but I feel like the price point is very high for such a small bottle.. still a great scent, would recommend

I love this scent so much I want to spray it into a cloth and huff it. SO gorgeous. The smell of petrichor is beautiful and mixes well with floral notes. It reminds me of an earthy, damp graveyard or an old stone castle filled with lilacs. I can see why it's a polarising scent, though. If the petrichor smell didn't have the lilac to balance it out it would be overwhelming. Luckily, I love the balance it does strike. Not overly sweet - a fresh scent that feels more natural than artificial. I am quite disappointed with the longevity and strength on my skin, however; I think it smells better on fabrics or in the air than actually on me, where it is quickly muted. I'll stubbornly keep wearing it, however, if only for the the fleeting pleasure of it. If Heretic ever manage to create a stronger version I will be first in line to snatch it up.

i LOVE this perfume, even as someone who is known to all my friends and even online for loving sickly sweet vanilla gourmands, I got this sample and I’m utterly obsessed with it , I cannot stop getting my friends to smell it, I talk about it all the time to my boyfriend, it is easily my top 3 perfumes. It smells of rain on concrete which boggles my brain so much and i LOVE it, I love the smell of rain. The florals are beautiful, and I hate so many florals .. this is so unique and beautiful, it’s to the point as for my graduation gift my boyfriend is literally going to buy me the 30ml, body wash, and lotion. In my opinion this is the goth fragrance and it’s beautiful ... 🥹🥹

I was expecting something much danker and nasty after all these reviews calling it "rotting". Maybe how a lily smells on like the third day of it being in the vase, but taking that to rotting feels a bit extreme to me. It is floral with something earthy and almost melon-like underneath. Wearing this with grape lip gloss is so good for some reason. I don't normally love florals, so this is florals for someone that doesn't favor that. It is lovely and intoxicating, I bought a sample size and I will have to get a bigger one in case they discontinue it. Unfortunately, it fades FAST and does not project at ALL. Maybe it's my skin chemistry but it just DISSOLVES on me.

I know this fragrance has mixed reviews, but this is the perfume that actually got me into violet scents. It smells like a rain soaked graveyard to me. Wet pavement, petrichor, cold air, and violets growing next to gravestones. The violet isn’t super sweet or powdery, it feels more earthy and kind of melancholic. It’s not for everyone, but I like it. The only downside for me is the longevity, it doesn’t last as long as I wish it did. I also feel like this is perfect for goth girlies like me who still want something a bit feminine and soft, but not in a basic way. It’s sweet in a weird, eerie way that still feels pretty without losing that dark vibe.

I honestly thought this wouldn't live up to the hype but it truly is my ideal floral scent. It manages to be floral without being powdery; it's dirty, green, and very natural smelling and it ended up drying down to a very simple wood scent after a couple hours. Sadly this perfume didn't last my entire 7 hour shift but not many things do considering my workplace smells very strongly of rubber, perhaps it would last longer on a day when I'm not doing much but I haven't had a day like that to test that out (//-_-) ... so good though, I couldn't stop sniffing my arm... I probably looked crazy to my coworkers.

Blind bought this when it came out. To me, it's for specific occasions. Nosferatu smells wet and cold, with a floral that doesn't feel *obvious* to me. It's there, but it's married to a bunch of other feelings and sensations that it doesn't feel forward. It's what I think of when I think of my most "goth" perfume, not because of the name or the theme, but genuinely because of the scent. It's not particularly potent, but I think that makes it okay for wearing in mixed company as it's definitely not going to appeal to everyone. I think they did a wonderful job bringing the mood of the film to the fragrance.

The scent opens like stepping into a rain soaked forest at twilight, where the air is cool, shadowed, and heavy with moisture, and every breath feels dark and green. Damp wood and moss rise first, earthy and mineral, as if the trees themselves are slowly exhaling after a storm. Beneath that, soft blooms of violet, iris, and lilac emerge purple and velvety, slightly powdery yet fresh, their sweetness muted by mist and wet bark. There’s a quiet depth to it, a hushed floral darkness wrapped in влажный лес (wet forest), where petals cling to rain and the ground smells alive, ancient, and softly haunting.

This perfume started off strong (almost too strong for my liking) so it threw me off a bit. I will say it was 100% worth the wait for the dry-down though, because the smell of rain in a cemetery was heavenly. I didn’t get the pickle scent that other people described, and to me it smells cohesive to the theme. If you are thrown off by heavy florals this probably isn’t the scent for you though. The scent has been on for a couple hours so the longevity i would say is very good as I can still smell it on me. Definitely buying a full bottle when i can because it’s something i’ve never smelled before!

This is truly my favorite in my collection! Starts very wet and mossy, the longer it's on the sweeter and more floral it gets. SHOCKED how few people think this perfume lasts forever! I slept with it on, went to a doctor's appointment, and came home and it was STILL THERE. I will say you can not rub your wrists/arms together and expect the scent to transfer, so you need to use more sprays in that regard. The petrichor is photorealistic, but I'm not sure I would say the lilac is. Like I said, there is definitely a floral and powdery scent as it sits after a few hours.

I'm so in love with the complexity of this perfume. It's absolutely beautiful and unique. You can smell all the notes that are supposed to be there. It's expensive for such a small bottle and for a perfume that doesn't project very far but I continue to buy it over and over because it's such a beautiful smell. The lotion and shower gel smell just like it. I usually wear it at home where I can really enjoy it. It may not project far, but it does last a long time. I can usually still smell it on my clothes before I launder them. This is my favorite perfume.

One of the most magical things I’ve ever smelled. Has fully ignited my search for and obsession with fragrances. I’ve never smelled something that gave me such a visual mental image in my life. It’s like sitting on the ground amongst a wet, broken-down castle courtyard made of old stone. Rain is coming down hard, and there are lilac bushes and violets all around. The rainwater mixes with the smell of skin and dirt and foliage. So beautiful. I could see how some might not like it, but to me it’s absolutely perfect. I only wish it lasted longer on the skin.

Nothing is making me giddier than smelling like Ellen Hutter's lilac bouquet! Morning dew on the castle's purple garden; makeupy iris, powdery violets, sweet lilacs. Each bloom is present and felt. When I press my nose to my wrist, I close my eyes, and I imagine I have just painted my face with antique, leaden, and asbestos-laced powders and thick-with-crushed-beetle lipsticks. I step out into a misty rain, and feel it all melt down my cheeks and chin. I'm wearing a heavy gown, and my feet are bare - toes squishing between the grass and the sweet dirt.

You are celebrating All Saints' Day by laying some lilac on a stranger's mossy, ancient gravestone, in a wet Edwardian cemetery, on a misty dawn in Oxford. The reviews are accurate. It *is* green and wet and petrichor and dirt. The flowers are subtle, but the sillage is mainly these (or so I have convinced myself), so you can feel socially acceptable. When you put your own nose on it, though, you can see it's definitely one for the fragrance community. It's a melancholic, comforting, kind masterpiece. A gentle broken heart with some hopeful flowers.

I just got this in today and obsessed. Honestly the reviews were misleading to me, the whole “smells like walking through a graveyard” thing is kind of false at least for me. The petrichor is definitely there upon first spray but dries down quickly to a strong lilac smell. Almost sickening at first but calms down after a bit and smells beautiful. To me it’s like walking through a field of flowers after long rainfall. Very fresh smelling. Don’t get the freaky haunting scent everyone else is talking about. Would definitely wear this one daily.

Absolutely beguiling! Lilac and violet can be really cloying and powdery in perfumes, but here the petrichor and ambergris accords make them wet and earthy. I am transported to a cool, dewy May morning at my grandparents’ house, where lilacs grew in dappled light under a huge hackberry tree and next to a moss-covered stone wall topped with pots of pansies and Johnny-jump-ups. Nosferatu somehow smells cool and wet; I can’t wait to wear it during the hot summer. This fragrance makes me so very happy and nostalgic. Bravo, Heretic!

LOVE this. I love when perfumes smell like a certain moment and this smells just like the earth after a rainstorm. Definitely a little gothic but moreso in an earthy way than the usual refined way, which I quite enjoy. I've had it on my wrist for about 5 hours now and the sillage is still intimate (though my mother said she could smell it across the room, so take that as you may because i certaintly can't) but it's definitely still there. I only bought a sample but when I save up enough for a big bottle I'll certainly buy one!

It's so odd. The first day I had it, I hated it. It had smelled like Nosferatu himself, like rotting flesh, blood, and wilting flowers. It had gotten so bad to the point I gagged and washed it off! But now, after a couple days, it smells like a beautiful field of flowers in the rain, outside of a classic german castle. Word of advice: FORGET the name. You might have the same experience as me. But it truly becomes a beautiful scent, while still having a scary edge. I'm even considering wearing it on Halloween.

heavy downpour on cobblestones, dewy lilacs, and delicate violets, and a brooding depth like a shadow on your shoulder brought on by a subtle oud and rich labdanum. This fragrance is like an apparition, a myth, an urban legend of he who shall not be named, a plagued imagination of a shadow in your room. It’s ghostly and wispy and soft, but still scarily domineering in an unexplainably heavy way. In simple terms it’s a wet and cold floral with deep oud touches. A gorgeous interpretation of vampiric longing.

tried on and at first reallyyyy hated it. theres something unsettling to it for sure. then i smoked a bowl and walked outside into a damp misty night and it was the exact right atmosphere for it. its sweet but also makes me picture the swimming pool scene in jennifer's body where shes in that filthy white homecoming dress and covered in blood. that mixed with a damp river stone at night. smells like a wet purple dusk...........heavy on the lilac and petrichor. really good for the right vampy girl.

Smells like drywall and decay (in an aesthetic sense) I love it, my mom hates it but she hates everything i do including my hair. Everyone else loves it and i think that is enough convining for me to love this fragance to death. I can't stop smelling myself all over, its such a curious, enchanting, unique scent that i haven't smelled before. Yes, this scent does make me feel like unleashing a plague all over atlanta, for the man i am head over heels for. (my faggot boyfriend :3)

This fragrance reminds me of walking through the hedgerows near my house after heavy rain, when the air's still wet and grey. It's a somber smell, a perfect mourning scent or a signature for someone who's more inclined to melancholy. For me it lasts better when layered with a moisturizer and some powder, be it a setting powder or baby powder, but is perfectly fine by itself if you prefer something subtle. For me it is a tab but pricey but certainly worth it if you collect.

This is probably the best goth fragrance I have ever encountered, especially because it avoids the cliche of blood and roses. There's lilac, violet, and iris to create a sweet floral accord over the cypriol, ambrette, and ambergris which engender an earthy and stony accord: the evocation is of funerary bouquets rotting in a cemetery. It's oddly pretty and haunting simultaneously. Just the thing if you want to be Morticia or Gomez.

i LOVE this scent its not even funny. it starts out very sharp with the lilac and then fades to a scent that reminds me of the moments after it rains in a forest. Musky, a good balance between warm and cool and its amazing. I personally layer it with a good cherry or something lemon/lime. ive hear from other people the dry down also kinda smells like cucumber when i mix it with burberry brit sheer.

I would put this toward a more niche scent category. To me, this is kind of green, watery, murky, and what a wet cave with a lot of moss would smell like. There is a little bit of a smoky/musty note when it settles on the skin. I do really like this scent, though I do not think it is for everyone. This is probably what the air around Nosferatu smelled like when he was standing in his castle, 8/10.

VERY interesting. I like it, but I don’t know if I’m cool enough to pull it off. The opening is almost like dried or dead flowers, and dampness for sure. The dry down is so pretty and refreshing. My husband said it smelled like cucumber, and I almost smell it. I really like this a lot. It’s unique but not weird or off putting. A really special perfume! Perfect for a rainy spring day.

Incredible. Exact vibes of the movie. Lilacs and a cemetery after it rains. Kinda weird, entrancing and melancholic. Initial spray reminds me of my dad's funeral/burial (in a nice way). I can understand why some people don't like this as there is a pretty prominent wet stone smell at the start. The dry down is really pretty; a delicate wet floral with some musk. Love it.

I am different in thinking seasonal is not as much of a thing. Scent as fashion is a more important thing in the world of niche scent. That being said petrichor is a brilliant note. I evokes something always. Rain in the morning is refreshing and bright. Rain midday is soul soothing. Rain in the evening is calming. It’s a beautiful multifaceted singular earth note.

A skin specific intimate scent. On me it is soft floral, beautiful and delicate. I wish it lasted longer to male it worth the money. I have the lotion and the body wash as well. I used 3 samples before buying the full set. With all of heretic I highly recommend buying samples first, a lot of their fragrances are incredible but they are very skin variable.

Very cool scent, cool like underground, like a burrow is cool and safe and smells like earth. Very liquid, like purple watercolor irises. I really got a lot of the ambrette, petrichor, and nagamotha. Perfect scent for listening to dark jazz while it rains, definitely a little melancholic. Smells like old man yaoi if one of the old men is Kim Kitsuragi.

Oh, Heteric. You did it with this one. I am obsessed with this scent and wear it the most out of my collection. Its WEIRD, complex, feminine, dark, earthy, for the goth girlies. It smells mysterious at the top, like earthy decay. It then settles into a beautiful sophisticated floral scent. I feel like a woman when I wear this. I love it so much.

Wet, earthy floral. Just my kind of scent! I grabbed nosferatu on sale, i had a coupon for a certain website, so I avoided paying an arm and a leg for this perfume. I will say it is pretty overpriced, based on how long it lasts. Regardless...I really enjoy how wet this smells. Damp flowers....its almost how I imagine liurnia of the lakes smells

This smells like I’m standing at a freshly dug grave in the pouring rain while looking at the week old bouquets left from the funeral. It smells like dirt and stone and rain and lilacs and like something bad has happened or will soon. Kind of the dreamy feeling you would get if you saw a ghost and didn’t know whether to run or to follow it.

it's so perfectly androgynous to me. definitely floral graveyard. not pretty romantic flowers . the ones that sprout from bodies naturally. it smells as if you've ran through the rain holding a bouquet of nearly wilted flowers under your coat in the best way. could be interpreted as old but I think it adds to the mystical nature

Completely worth all of its praise, a perfectly unique vampy floral fragrance. Immediately when I put it on I see the image of a vine wrapping around a castle walls, something fresh and clean yet earthy. The staying power is crazy too, I had this on all day and still smelled it on myself during dinner. Love heretic

What it says on the tin! This one is for the weird girls, the vampire obsessed, the ones whose perfect day is finding an abandoned cemetery in the woods. It’s earthy, petrichor- and iris-heavy, and has a mossy, soft rot drydown. It is so unique yet perfectly evokes a crypt. Photorealistic crypt, if you will lol.

a small bundle of sweet purple violets, dried out a tad but powdered in fresh dew. I personally find this to be a pretty sultry and subtle fragrance, I would really love for someone wearing this to wrap their arms around me for a gentle hug and to just be surrounded by the scent. It goes very nicely on skin.

This is my daily fragrance. On my skin, it smells like mournful wet lilacs. Friends report that it’s pleasantly detectable across a table, but not overpowering, and lasts at least 3 hours. Usually more. As a lover of porcelain dolls and wearer of long white nightgowns, this is my favorite perfume.

Violet, petrichor, green, cold, fresh, slightly wet, miniralic, slightly sweet and some ozonic nuances. Well-balanced, unique, artistic and quality. It's initially a beautiful feminine leaning atmospheric floral scent. It has below average sillage and longitivity, a con. It's quite intresting.

I love this perfume SO much, but it does not last at all on me. It’s extremely green, so green it smells like shoving your nose directly into a clump of wet (like really wet) lilacs. I have a lilac bush in my front yard and this captures the green earthiness of a real lilac bush so well.
