Banana Bread Banshee

Hez Parfums knows how to do gourmands!! I got this as a sample and immediately fell in love. This is what you wish a banana gourmand perfume to smell like—so well-balanced being gourmand but not juvenile. I was so nervous about this scent but the creamy, smooth banana, rich caramel, brown sugar, and hint of bakery air are blended perfectly. I truly couldn't stop smelling my arm when I had this on. Even my partner who doesn't enjoy these kind of scents, told me to purchase a full size of this ASAP. There is no comparison for this fragrance. If you've found a recent banana bread fragrance to be too artificial then you MUST try this one! It sells out quickly for a d*mm good reason.

It starts off like actual warm yet refreshing due to the lemon banana bread out of the oven, then dries down to a nice caramel, cinnamon chocolate sugar bomb, then after fully drying down it smells like sweet subtle cozy and warm banana bread coated in a caramel drizzle with chocolate shavings. if sweet gourmand is your thing get this immediately. cus this smells like Christmas and fall in a bottle. And for the price it's an amazing deal.

Having lived in New Orleans, my wife is a native and it’s where we met, the smells of NOLA ring true with us. After smelling a sample of Banana Bread Banshee I immediately ordered a bottle for my wife and she loves it. It is photo realistic and if you close your eyes you will think you’re in the bakery picking up a fresh loaf. The banana, chocolate, brown sugar really jump out for me.terrific gourmand scent.

I am not usually a big gourmand person but this is a fragrance I can reach for everyday. It lasts all day and is a beautiful gourmand with the banana providing a perfect sweetness to the caramel. There's no synthetic smell like you get from some gourmands. It's a beautiful clean banana bread that stays with you all day but doesn't leave you smelling like a food. I get complements every time I wear it.

This banana bread smells just like a bakery. It is a sweet gourmand fragrance that will get compliments. I promise hez knocked this out the park!

Love it!! I've been on a hunt for a banana frag that doesn't smell like Runts or Laffy Taffy. Skin Potion Bananas Brulee (indie oil company) has been the only one that ticks that box thus far but her website is very difficult to navigate and there are so many discount codes and bundles, etc. that it's overwhelming trying to order. The only other bananas I've tried is Daukens Bananas Brulee and CSP Vanille Banana. CSP smelled like banana milk with terrible performance and BB smelled like candy. But this review isn't about them. So on to Banana Bread Banshee - I'm loving this! It doesn't smell like candy!! It's a very thick fragrance IMO. I smell the chocolate in here. I can't say that this necessarily smells like Banana Bread but it doesn't smell like candy either. This is delicious. I feel like this would layer very well with a vanilla oil or lotion. I also can't wait to layer this with my new and AMAZING Jasmine Of Athens by Theodoros Kalotinis!! If you're looking for a banana frag that doesn't smell like candy, try this one 😍.

This is a very warm and rich scent. Banana? It is there, especially during the opening. And it stays there, but only for those who know :D so banana is not the dominant note here. However, this is a nice rich and sweet, almost boozy scent, that's why it is also fully unisey. The caramel, bread and chocolate together smell like something I would call an animalic gourmad (not really fully animalic no need to get scared) and reminds me scents like Insomnia by Faviol Seferi for that quality. Also it smells a lot like dried fruit, like they were used as ingredients when making that non-banana forward banana bread. Performance is great, although not a beast. BTW, I would say it is a banana cousin to the Rococo Pie by Sarah Baker.

This is a really gourmand perfume. Its strong, sweet, edible, comforting scent. If you like gourmand perfumes then you will like this one. Some people say that this is similar to panettone. No its not. This one is much more sweeter than "panettone". This smells like a warm, comforting, sweet banana pie. You can smell the bread and banana in here. Those are the most prominant notes. But this is not dry like panettone. This is a very sweet bread with cinnamon in it. It can be kind of overwhelming for some if you are not use to really gourmand perfumes. This perfume is kind of unique because of the note of bread and banana. Just for gourmand lovers. Really realistic banana bread/pie.

When I first tried this it was an instant No and I tried to wash it off. The day after I gave it a second chance and now I really enjoy it. This is more of an ambient experience to wear rather than a "simple" fragrance. I guess this will shine when the temperature drops and that it also could be amped up - layering it with a sweet toffee fragrance like Molten Caramel from Paris corner, or something close by....

Sugar and cinnamon. Cinnamon roll or Big Red Gum type cinnamon. Warm, fresh banana bread. There's a deep chocolate in the background. Spicy, boozy, absolutely delicious. Festive. I picked up a sample out of curiosity for banana bread. I'm not much of a gourmand guy but this is great.

I'm from New Orleans, so I really wanted to love this one. On my skin there is no banana - mainly boozy rum, and brown sugar. The booziness needs to be tempered down for me to love this because it's so hot and humid here and this scent is too cloying for this weather. I'd imagine this would be great in a snowy place though where you want a heavy duty fume for those cold days. I'm going to work my way through the line though and see if there's other things that work for me.

This is less gourmand that I expected; unfortunately, I do not smell any banana. On my skin its very rumy. Is it nice? Yes. Would I repurchase? I think no. The biggest reason is the price. Its 70$ + 30$ shipment to EU + 50$ fot tax and costumes fees = 150$ for 50 ml its not worth it. I can find another niche perfumes in EU in same price range. Forgot to mention that my bottle was also leaking a bit when it arrived.

Similar to MF Panetton- but not on the same level. This did not make the mark for me. Its good but that is where it remains. Rated The ole banana in the tail pipe trick

Not what I expected at all. I was hoping for a bananaforward scent, but this is to citrusy (in the beginning) and boozy. A run-of-the-mill boozy sweet men’s scent. Reminds me of Khamra or Angels Share. It’s unisex I guess, but definitely leans masculine on me. It’s not bad, but not special or unusual, or banana-y. Disappointed.

Delicious. It smells like a banana chocolate chip muffin. At first it smells a little boozy. After about 10-15 min I get wafts of banana bread but def smell some chocolate undertones. Great for cool winter wear.

I liked everything about this except that there is a slight boozy note in it that keeps it from becoming a love. Wanted it to be a little sweeter and less "spiked" smelling.
