This is like being in a beignet cafe in NOLA, but not necessarily the beignet itself. The ambience and feeling of being in a warm, welcoming, cozy space. I do agree with silverlocusts, as it is missing the powder sugar of the beignet, and the puff pastry smell of the beignet itself. Overall, I thought it would be sweeter/more gourmand but I fell in love anyway. So masterfully blended and well-balanced as Hez always does. A great coffee scent on it's own and very unisex.

On my skin, the woody notes completely overshadow the coffee. It feels like sitting outside a log cabin deep in the forest, sipping a steaming cup of coffee dusted with cinnamon and rich dark chocolate. It's reminiscent of a warm Mexican hot chocolate. I don’t get any pastry or beignet from this one at all.

Smells like coffee and not much else. I was hoping it would be a little more evocative of the beignet cafe experience in New Orleans, but it’s missing the creaminess and a little of the sweetness. I do like this to layer, but on its own it is pretty one-note: hot black coffee with one sugar cube.

This smells like a fall coffee candle in the BEST way. Man that coffee really worked off my skin. A real cool weather banger that I can’t wait to wear.
