Like a cross between a head shop and a dentist's office. The incense and myrrh are definitely present, but there's this sort of Novocaine bubblegum sweetness that feels uncanny and soothing at the same time. Slightly powdery in the dry-down, a little old lady-ish in a very offbeat way. Flirts with some esoteric element that is just this side of off-putting, which I dig. This doesn't smell like garbage but for me it has that same "I secretly enjoy the cloyingly sweet smell of rotting because my pleasure (s)centers have flipped" energy. This isn't something I can see myself wearing a lot because of the bubblegum/head shop element but I blasted thru the 2ml sample using it just for myself around the house in 24 hours, so I will probably pick it up again with my next order from this brand.

This scent is very transcendental and..supernatural.Well rounded, smooth, intimate and ethereal.A misterious fragrance with ancient, spiritual vibes.Subdued scent but noticable in the precence of.Hazy cloud of the ingredients, they are like a breath of an angel. Weightless composition of the sweet amber with milky grass, rounded with hint of smokey incence dusted by balmy myrrh.They are whiffly swirling around , drag me deep into the whirlpool...I falling deeper and deeper with closed eyes but I know: somebody will catch me...I feel the warm touch surround me..I'm in safe. Breathtaking creation..an angel's wing-stroke, falling feathers from the sky...encounter with the Guardian,everlasting embrace...

i have no words. this fragrance is so beautiful. it takes me back in time to Italy, watching an artist sculpt as a ship of tea and spice crashes against the coastline current. the amber is so beautifully and subtly sweet. jeez, love this so much.

I was excited to try this one because I kind of like the smell of the dentist, but all I got was baby powder. Bummer.

Incense? really? I smell almost pure tonka. Sweet, chalky, doughy white tonka. it’s an enjoyable smell, if a very simple one.

It smells like sweet baby wipes. Horrible.

The opening is extremely beautiful, the most strange unusual earthy smell with an unusual incense. I have or have had A LOT of the strangest perfumes available and this was a whole different ball park to anything I smelt. After a few hours it does disappear and I also get a smell of old linens which were cleaned but then sat in a closed off room and are now covered with a thick layer of dust. It makes me think of a room that has been closed off in a nunnery or convent for decades. Clean room but a layer of dust. Lots of linens and canvas. I wish that Calamus in the opening stayed longer because that was truly one of the most beautiful unusual smells I have ever laid my nose on.

A very pretty soft, mild, woody amber that dries to a more powdery version of woody amber. Very faint, though, without much sillage. Wish it lasted longer.
