Zucchero

After a chance encounter in a niche perfume store, Zucchero quickly rose to the ranks of my signature scent. This confection is as simple as it is effective. Just a spritz lingers for days! I like to picture Zucchero as Pink Sugar's rich cousin.

This is so fun! Lighthearted and sugary sweet. Bit artificial and lacks complexity, but that's what I expected lol. Fruit loops and sugared lemons. A bit pricey for what it is and doesn't last too long, so this is more decant worthy than an fb.

Delicious sweet lemony sugary confection scent but I think it's the lemon that leans a little car air freshener (to me). I love Hilde's gourmands because they usually have a "coldness" I can't put into words and a refreshing conciseness and levity that make them wearable in summer as opposed to being so heavy, warm that you only want to wear them in winter. So I do like Zucchero but it's not a love. It's definitely worth sampling though if you like other sweet lemony perfumes like Akro Bake or Xerjoff Lira (I think I like Zucchero better than those two). I love the cute bottle label too.

White sugar infused with a few spirals of lemon peel. It is reminiscent of Pink Sugar but this smells more clean and fresh vs PS burnt caramel licorice. Nice scent but for the price I prefer Rose au Sucre, or Hilde's other scent Sweet Parmesan Violets which is extremely similar to Zucchero with added violet. Oh, what @julna said is spot on- this is "Pink Sugar's rich cousin" :) The more I wear it, the more I do want a full bottle... It's sugary in a very clean way. Another Hilde to add to my wishlist lol

I bought this because it was described as a cotton candy scent. It’s definitely not that. At first sniff I hated it thinking it smelled like play dough and gave old lady vibes. But after letting it sit for a few months the sugared lemon has become more prominent and I enjoy it. It reminds me of Lush Super Milk with less creaminess. It’s a sugary lemon scent. The projection is okay and it doesn’t last very long so for the price I don’t think I would purchase a full size bottle.

Fragrantica missed on the notes here, because it doesn't list lemon and that's all I smell. It straight up smells like lemon bars. I can't decide what to make of it, because I don't smell the sugar or vanilla, and if they came through more I might like it as a brighter gourmande, since some are just too warm for summer.

This reminds me of Fresh Sugar. Lemon over vanilla and a hint of caramel. Amber in the base.

This smells like sugared lemons and pure joy.

Smells just like Pink Sugar and Acqua e Zucchero, with the licorice note (and Al-Rehab Soft). Definitely not a cotton candy fragrance, which I was hoping for. To me, this scent profile is sweet, black licorice and a little citrus.

I was very excited to try this one as I've been on a bit of a cotton candy kick lately. Unfortunately for me as someone who doesn't particularly enjoy Aquolina's Pink Sugar, this smells just like it. It comes across like a soft, candied citrus with loads of sugar dumped on top. Significantly more refined and less synthetic smelling for sure, but still undeniably Pink Sugar.

My first thought was, Oh this is a sweet, fresh lemon meringue pie! My second thought was, Oh this smells a little like a cleaning product. Conceptually, I love it and usually enjoy the one-note scents Hilde Soliani puts out. Without any added complexity, I think this one comes a little close to bathroom cleaner. It also doesn't last very long.

Zucchero falls in the same family as Pink Sugar/Al-rehab Soft/Profumum Roma Aqua e Zucchero. But is is a simpler version. If I wasn't already familiar with those aforementioned perfumes I would go for this, but for the longevity and price of Hilde Soliani's, the other perfumes are better.

I normally enjoy Hilde's simple note creations but are the notes correct on this? Just sugar??? Nothing to ground it at all? So I'm thinking similar to Fresh cream by Philosophy? Idk and definitely need to sample for this price. Nice to see she changed the bottle art a bit tho

Licoric-y sugar scent, with baby doll plastic elements. At the very end of the day, it’s sweet with a hint of vanilla. Nah.

To me this smells straight up like candied/sugared lemon peels. Delicious but not exacly what I thought it would be.

Smells like fruit loops and milk and I love it. It’s not cotton candy though but it’s a fun scent

Not bad but very close to Acqua e Zucchero.
