Moon Bloom

I still am not sure about this one yet. I was actually trying to find a substitute for my darling Sergé Lutens Datura Niór. I'm not searching for a dupe of SLDN. Just a new perfume replacement of that type of scent. Since it's now discontinued.BTW; This smells absolutely NOTHING like it. It's closer to Criminelle. (Even then not exactly). It's a thick, heavy, gorgeous, & heady tuberose. There's a big bite of the green in the initial application. But, not always. The silage is pretty decent if you like your perfume strong. I wouldn't recommend applying this in your car just before driving over to pick up your date. Especially with windows up. LoL. ( He had such a headache) As it can be potent with a heavy hand. I'm disappointed in the longevity of this. Which is why I rated it overpriced. Quality is there. From bottle to juice. The perfume is well done if you like things like Serge Lutens Criminelle, Fracas, Carnal flower, Nartique perfumes like that. The initial initial application/blast is weird. I get thick florals, mainly tuberose, spices, resins and a bitter green all at once. The green is screechy at first blast. Then in a few it melds together very lovingly. It's very clear there is high quality oils in this. The initial silage is strong. But after that, it's not. It's moderate at best. It's a pretty sexy perfume. Unfortunately, I find it doesn't last long. It's mainly a tuberose scent at it's core. Has some really buttery resins and the spices were very well selected. The green note keeps it from being too heavy. But it's almost as if it doesn't belong there. If that makes sense. But, on me it seems to change every time I wear it. (Three or four times so far). Sometimes it's more spicy and resin. Another time it was a thick heady floral. Other time the green note screams above all else. I would definitely recommend buying a sample of this before you commit to FB. Because it is definitely not the spray it sniff and buy it now kind of perfume. It's really not the type of scent for everyone. You'd definitely have to like heavy tuberose. Like Carnal flowers type. You'd definitely have to wear this throughout the entire day to see how it evolves. Also, you'd need to wear this more than twice to commit. Because it does seem to smell a bit different from beginning to end and from one wearing to another. I do like it. Because I find it interesting and I love thick florals. Because I don't exactly know how it's going to behave that day on me due to it's unpredictability on my skin. I doubt at the price I'd buy a FB. Though the atomizer bottle is absolutely beautiful and I'm a sucker for that femme fatale sort of thing.

About 10-years ago, maybe a bit longer, a close friend was wearing this perfume. She urged me to pick up a bottle, calling it the 'near-perfect white floral'. How silly of me to not listen at the time! I was impressed, for sure, with the scent itself but it was not in my wheelhouse at the time. It was simply too complex for my nose during this point in my life (my senses were definitely a bit whacked from having my youngest around this time). Re-introduced to Moon Bloom Fall of 2023 and my overwhelming feelings have significantly, markedly shifted. Indeed it *is* a near-perfect white floral. Tuberose is certainly the star of the show but jasmine does appear quite strongly as well. This is green tuberose off the rip. Fresh, ripe, and a bit indolic; it is quite cool, refreshing and certainly herbal although it just skirts away from veering sour or overly ripe. The less warm and more 'chilly' herbal aspects do get rounded out quite rapidly once the skin starts to warm ever so mildly. The jasmine does play quite nicely with the 'star' as it were. Remains wonderfully earthy while developing a quite effervescent, albeit mild, sweetness--possibly the coconut, possibly the tropical spices, likely both? Never taking the lead, the jasmine certainly amplifies both spice and cream, and does so for the remainder of wear, at just below surface-level. After about 30-to-40 minutes, everything becomes a bit more sheer, a bit 'lighter'. A bit less dense. There is something that is reminding me of very fresh, very delicate beeswax (perhaps this is the ylang ylang?). After 1.5-2 hours, while still delicate overall, it starts to become much more sultry and balmy. The tropical notes dance beautifully with the now incredibly seductive tuberose. This is a teasy little trickster at times, sometimes quite jovial and playful and other times a bit 'naughty', a bit stern, a bit domineering. And yet remaining altogether innocent. Stunning fragrance, remarkable in how it waxes-and-wanes (just like the moon...?!) between all of the notes in the most harmonious way imaginable. A word of caution: avoid over-spraying.. this thing packs a lovely little punch and the first few minutes will overwhelm you if you got a bit maniacal with initial application.

I am very taken with Hiram Green's creations. Made from all-natural ingredients, but as rich and beautifully composed as high-quality traditional perfume, his scents truly are the best of both worlds. I never had much time for natural perfume, finding it underwhelming and aromatherapy-like with fleeting performance, but Hiram Green has changed my view. Moon Bloom, the earliest offering from this line, is an excellent tuberose scent - rich, creamy and, well, natural. I love tuberose in perfumery - it is perhaps the most classically feminine note. Moon Bloom (a poetic and apt name, as tuberose blooms at night) showcases different facets of this magnificent flower. The tuberose of the opening is green and briefly sharp, very heady - almost overpowering. The green facets alongside the intoxicating waxiness here highlight the duality of tuberose. Clean, slightly powdery jasmine rounds it out beautifully, while remaining in the background. There is a faint hint of warm, sweet spice too. The tuberose mellows as it develops, sweetened by complementary notes. As it develops, ylang ylang joins the white florals, adding tropical sweetness. This tropical quality is enhanced by the creamy, almost vanilla-like coconut note, but it doesn't take over or become cloying (like Goutal Songes EDP - a disappointment for me) - instead, it adds a nice, nuanced sweetness to the later stages of MB, making for a natural progression from the tuberose. This sweet, tropical, white floral phase lasts as it dries down, becoming a soft, powdery skin scent as it fades. Sillage and longevity are moderate. An excellent rendering of tuberose, MB is up there with the best white florals (Fracas, Carnal Flower, French Flower et al.) Deeply pleasant throughout (despite the slightly challenging opening), it is beautiful in the classic sense, timeless and elegant. I wouldn't call the composition groundbreaking, except for the fact that it is all-natural. It isn't as long-lasting as other tuberose scents, but that's likely due to the use of natural ingredients. Superb. 4/5.

Stunning. At first it is a bit green/sour, for me, so I was slightly worried, as I tend to turn fragrances with natural ingredients sourer. However, I had hope and persevered, as it is so utterly photo-realistic and intense, from the very first spray. At the risk of sounding mildly unbalanced, I don't feel like I am wearing a flowery perfume; I feel like I am the flower(s)! ...and miracle of miracles, it has gradually become sweeter on me - not sourer. It's a beautiful, realistic nectar kind of sweetness; not a sugary one. This is a bit like Carnal flower has the potential to be, but nothing like Carnal Flower actually is on me, because it didn't really show up on me, at all. All I really got was a persistent, masculine eucalyptus note - no tuberose, at all. This is more like Carnal Flower became on my boyfriend and what I wanted it to be like on me. It's a feminine version. If you like the idea of Carnal Flower, but didn't like the reality on you, definitely try this. Boyfriend prefers the last perfume I tried (Jimmy Choo Fever), so it may not be a big man-pleaser, but it is a beautiful and sensual experience, nonetheless. He tends to have a pretty sweet tooth, so it's probably that... I think Giorgio and Love Tuberose will remain his favourites on me. But, for me, this is a 10/10. Nearest thing to sticking your nose inside a perfect flower, or flowers, aside from actually doing that. Also, thinking of getting it and trying layering it over Love Tuberose (which I also adore) and seeing what happens... Will probably just turn to a sludge of indeterminate notes, but it's worth a try. Update: By the way, as the honeyed notes kicked in, boyfriend decided he liked it, after all. In fact, he thought it was a different fragrance. So, that just shows you how natural it is and how much it changes. Also, like the name and the fact that even my 1ml sample came with a signed HM card, which I found a really charming and personal touch. :) 10/10.

There are already lots of good reviews for this beauty, but during this dull January here in the UK I'm on a Tuberose kick to cheer myself up and remind me of those warm summer days. So I'm going to review a few perfumes that have a heavy dollop of these luscious flowers. Moon Bloom is completely natural, that coupled with the high dose of one of my top three favourite notes already makes it a likely winner for me. There is also plenty of ylang in here along with the amazing tuberose. Big white creamy luxurious plump, this manages to be steamy whilst also being a little powdery... Tuberose, jasmine and ylang are softly bunched together in a warm, ripe, pollen laden bouquet next to me, as I sit outside of a banana leaf roofed cafe in Bali, they also grow prolifically amongst the hot tropical greens all around the place. Everything glows golden in the sultry evening sunshine. Inside someone is preparing a bowl of sweet steamed rice with coconut milk. That's it, that's what it conjures up for me. I've yet to wear this in the warmth of high summer (I imagine it would go well with some white broderie anglaise/cotton lace and sun-kissed skin), but I'm looking forward to it. However, I have got myself a little hot and steamy whilst wearing this, and just when I thought this all natural had dwindled to a feint, powdery skin scent, some serious body heat and a little perspiration occurred and whoosh - up came a great big steamy cloud of plump, swollen, and yes, engorged creamy flowers again! Goodness gracious me, what a lovely and slightly shocking surprise. There is nothing skanky here though, this is warm and sensual but clean, fleshy yet waxy and ever so slightly soapy. The right word for Moon Bloom is 'gorgeous' and I love it. I don't think I'll have a problem getting through a full bottle (must save some to wear in that much longed for Summer heat though). Edit 28/02/18: Turns out this is a 'Great Long Term Love' for me.

It's been a long time I don't write a review because I change my mind oh so quick! I'm not reliable... So I decided I will focus on describing the scent and let my emotions out of the way: Moon Bloom is a rich, creamy white floral that fits perfectly with warm summer nights. It's the most "in your face" realistic tuberose I know (I had it in my garden in Brazil). It's heady and a bit indolic, but in a very pleasant, natural way (Annick Goutal Songes gives me headache, this one not). The coconut is there just to make it creamy, but it's not an outstanding note to me. It projects nice to people who are close to you, but not to an entire room, which I find perfect. It lasts the whole day on my skin. I don't think it's a sweet perfume, as some people said, but yes, it's creamy and milky, not fresh! Definitely a floral, never goes to the gourmand or sun tan lotion side. I'll make a quick comparison to other tuberose/jasmines I know, even though they're not at all similar: It's less sweet than Fracas It's less powdery than Songes It's less vanilla than Mugler Alien Essence Absolue It's creamier than Amarige It's sweeter than A La Nuit It's more floral than Terracota Ok, I can't leave my emotions aside: I already ADORE this scent and as a bonus my husband also loves it (he is hard with perfumes!) and it's ALL natural! I'm a natural cosmetics kinda girl, but natural perfumes never convinced me. I tried this one because of the reviews, already thinking it couldn't be that good, but it is! I would wear it even if it would be the worst chemicals, but it's not! Moon Bloom, I want you around forever!

Hiram Green loves old school classics. He’s made numerous perfumes that effortlessly fit into those genres. Moon Bloom is his 1980s tuberose, and he nails it. The massive strength and volume of those yesteryear tuberose perfumes are definitely here in Moon Bloom, but it is actually absent the dramatic, sharp, diva-like qualities of its predecessors. The green metallic and citrusy edges from the jasmine are fine, well rounded, and quiet. The yellow, ripe banana, tropical floral of ylang-ylang is not sickly sweet, it gives you an innocent and gentle smile. The coconut is smooth, creamy, proper sun-tan lotion and sunshine. Then there’s the tuberose. The absolute that Green used here is gorgeous. Heady, intoxicating, cool, and superbly rosey. It smells extremely naturalistic; rich and full of air and space, like you’re able to pick up pollens, nectars, and oils floating on the breeze. As Moom Bloom dries down in its initial stages I pull some woody spices, something similar to a muted allspice or cinnamon note, that dims the lights to dusk levels. It’s hard for me to award points for novelty since this is as about as retro as it gets for a tuberose perfume, but where ample points are scored are with the exceptional materials and Green’s strong blending hand. It would be very easy for this perfume to come across as a cloying and soupy mess, particularly with all of the natural materials, but it doesn’t. It’s rich yet spacious, weighty yet levitating, confident yet not loud or egotistical. It’s superb.

almost a VERY grassy green/sharp opening, but the soft white indolic sweet florals emerge quickly. Really pretty white floral and unlike most I own. Love the tropical coconut w. tuberose jasmine ylang. Gorgeous. For a sweet indolic floral, it’s a LOVE!!!! One of my top I’ve tried recently & def fbw -just bc I’m white floral, jasmine obsessed - the more floral /over the top sweet, the better. Green notes spicy notes resin notes ground tho & make it very niche & diff from other generic white florals out there. Almost gets spicy and fresh like carnations on dry down. Even more stunning tho the longer I wear. reminds me of Hawaiian leis and the smell of the gorgeous floral bath products from 5 star island resorts that source local fragrant flora of tiare plumeria jasmine gardenia and of course tuberose One of the prettiest I’ve tried on my sampling craze. Very realistic jasmine. So similar to the climbing white jasmine in my backyard that blooms 2wks/yr and at dusk & on warm summer nights the heady scent becomes even more potent and fills the entire backyard with it’s intoxicating sweet indoles. I pick a few blooms to put on my nightstand each night so I can smell them while I sleep. Most favorite smell on the whole entire planet, so heavenly, comforting relaxing, sleep inducing. They fade so quickly though. *HOLY F, tested near Naomi GOODSIR, or du serail honey frag & wow... both complement each other beautifully! Would get fb/sm sz of each and layer these two.

When I first dabbed on a sample of this, I teared up a little since it smelled like tropical flowers from home--- almost like a plumeria lei (without the citrusy top of actual plumeria) left in the sun for a few minutes, then refrigerated and worn again in the evening, surrounded by glossy deep-green leaves. I immediately ordered a bigger 5 ml sample with an atomizer in order to compare how it is when sprayed. Then I commenced using up the rest of the current .7 ml sample on my skin, clothes, and hair. That's usually a lot for me, and this perfume isn't exactly wimpy. However, it disappeared very quickly on my prepped skin. The fatty-silky opening of tropical island flowers stayed a while longer on fabric, and became a cool, creamy, stemmy tuberose. My partner detected a soft licorice-anise kind of spice in the drydown. After a few hours it became more charming than intoxicating, but it remained very charming indeed for many hours afterwards. I'm conflicted between being disappointed that the tropicality faded so soon, and relieved that I haven't become enamored with a perfume that makes me homesick. Will revisit when the atomizer sample arrives. Update: so much softer and more sheer when sprayed. Still charming, but doesn't induce tropical-island nostalgia for me, which is nice as it makes the scent more versatile.

This is a marvelous take on tuberose and it has earned a well deserving spot in my collection. My relationship with tuberose and white florals in general can be considered complicated, I dislike the heady and loud aspect of it (looking at you Fracas), but I love how warm tuberose itself makes me feel when I wear it. I do own Fracas, but is difficult to wear on most occasion. I used to own Do son by Diptique and that was an easy one for me, but it lacked something. Moon Bloom is everything. It opens opulent, but very quickly settles to a very wearable, almost delicate white floral. It is sunny, warm, creamy, not loud and overpowering how sometimes white florals are, but it is always present surrounding me with this warm, white, feminine cloud of florals. The greeness becomes more present as the fragrance develops and it balances the sweetness very well. It isn't screechy, it is not bitter or herbal, it feels very realistic, like sitting in a garden after the rain, the leaves, the grass surrounds you and you feel how the air around you warms up, it is intoxicating, but not consuming you whole. Moon Bloom is a wearable tuberose. It last 7+ hours for me with a fantastic sillage, it stays true to itself, I can feel the floral and green and warm aspect of the scent both 1 hour in and after 7 hours. Fantastic!

Moon Bloom is stunning—it’s an experience. This might just be my wedding scent. I first discovered Moon Bloom about four years ago, when I was just beginning to explore perfumes in my mid-20s. I only had a small tester then and went through it quickly. I thought it was beautiful, but at the time I didn’t see it as full-bottle worthy. Fast forward to 2025: now in my early 30s, after having smelled countless perfumes, I know just how incredible Moon Bloom truly is. Over the years, I’ve found myself coming back to thoughts of both the fragrance and the brand. There really isn’t another house like Hiram Green—one that tells such vivid stories through their creations, while backing them with unmatched quality. Moon Bloom’s opening is the most photorealistic tuberose and jasmine I’ve ever experienced in a bottle. But it avoids the heaviness that can make white florals overwhelming. It’s not indolic or sweaty, yet still undeniably sensual—the flower petals smell so fresh and lifelike, they almost feel fleshy. It’s opulent, yet never cloying. As it settles, it becomes a creamy blend of white and yellow florals—sophisticated, luminous, and mature without feeling old. If I choose a pearly satin gown for my wedding, there’s no doubt—I’ll be wearing Moon Bloom that day.

My, oh my... is this scent beautiful or what?! "Moon Bloom" perfectly describes this concotion, since it smells just like the tuberose stalks growing in my garden at night, when they pump out their heady and sweet/spicy fragrance. I smell a good dose of jasmine and spices as well, followed by a lovely and light coconut base that is so soothing and creamy. There is a slightly myrhh-like quality from the resins too, but it only makes things ever so slightly smoky. Everything seems to sweeten and soften pretty quickly on my skin and I am not getting any camphor or minty notes, unlike those that I get with Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle. It's probably why I don't get any migraines from this, since the eucalyptus note in Carnal Flower was much too much for me. To me, Moon Bloom by Hiram Green is the true "Carnal Flower" for sure! Moon Bloom wore for about 5 hours on my skin and I got an arm's-length projection. I could imagine wearing this to a lot of events both day and night and I like how feminine and sexy it is. I would give this fragrance a 9.5/10 altogether. It is up there with Narcotic Venus by Nasomatto as one of the most beautiful hyper-realistic tuberose fragrances that I have ever smelt. I feel like it is really good value for money and high quality.

Received my package today for Hiram Green. I tried this elegant parfum on now 3 times today. My views on all 3 sampling of this beautiful parfum. It is very beautiful. I get a very life like Jasmine and its powerful and beautiful. Its a very very very pretty top grade Jasmine. Then about 20 to 30 minutes. On the first try, a hint just a hint of a green note appeared briefly. After a subtle creamy soft tuberose and subtle ylang ylang blend take over and a soft pulse. very low key and in and out is a spec of coconut. The coconut could be the vanilla. And this is the scent of a very, very pretty unforgettable person would smell like. A positive vibe defiantly. The opening is so pretty, however what is to become of Moon Bloom is really really nice. Middle and final stages is so smooth and so special. this is close to skin and obviously extrait quality. For comparison to quality and loveliness MOON BLOOM really does bloom. Understated Elegance and Sheer class on the pedestal. The dry down is something so nice I really cant place it in words as this is different and so life like and natural.. Such quality.

What a Gem!!! I’m a real tuberose addict (I have at least 10 tuberose type perfume) and this is my no 1! In this beauty there are some spices (I feel cloves) what adds a beautifule plus for this composition and my skin chemistry loves it very much! And of course the natural ingredients...there is no artificial smell just the naturals and they are so well blended! The natural tuberose has a green, dusty side.Love it!!! The Ylang-ylang and jasmine supporting her Majesty. I can wear it all year around. On the summer heat blooms the flowers better but during the cold winter time the spieces warms up the whole composition. Longevity is good 6 hours on me then it will be skin scent for another 5-6 hours and I think this is very good for a natural perfume!!! Sillage is low- medium-I like it so much, this scent is very adorable and addictive! I see some people compering to Carnal Flower- nooo way- they gives me very different feelings: CF is more green and minty becouse of eucalyptus, Moon Bloom is warmer, cremier and here is more present the real tuberose flower. The Holy Gral of tuberose perfume!

Reviewing a bottle from 2023. Moon Bloom was launched in 2013. A spectacular tuberose bomb. This is a linear fragrance with straight up white florals - tuberose, jasmine and Ylang-Ylang. Hyperrealistic aroma including the waxy green leaves and stems. Soft and creamy as well as a little bit sweet and spicy. The coconut is not perceptible. Subtlely indolic. Of my top three favourite tuberose/white floral fragrances it is the best .Compared to Carnal Flower (current 2025 iteration) they are similar but Moon Bloom is richer and the longevity is better. I feel it has a more natural scent than Narcotic V . Beautifully blended. It is not sweet or soapy. Quality- excellent - all ingredients are of natural origin 5/5 Feminine but deep enough for anyone to wear. Performance- excellent - all you need is a drop it is so potent 5/5 Be forwarned this is a full on narcotic floral - rich, heady and beautiful. Rich enough to wear as a winter floral. Utterly captivating with summer heat as you walk through a Victorian "Moon" garden of night blooming flowers. *Moon Bloom is Hiram Green's first creation* 10/10

I adore this perfume. It's a deep, rich, and pure floral, that actually smells like sticking your nose into a summertime bloom. I've never smelled actual tuberose flowers, but I have smelled star jasmine and gardenia, and this most closely represents live, sweet, gardenia, the way you NEVER smell it in a fragrance. It's so pure and elevated, with natural sweet, musky, spicy and creamy elements that blend together in an almost musical harmony. It smells like luxury, quality, and love. Lasting power is incredible for a natural. I get a solid 7-8 hours of creamy wafts off of one spray on my chest. I highly recommend this for white floral and warm spicy genre lovers. **2007** batch review. I’ve since purchased a bottle and received the 2008 batch which is slightly different, more jasmine and for some reason I smell it on myself less. Still beautiful. Edit: after purchasing, just a small tip to not buy from the Hiram Green site - the perfume ended up costing me above $190 with foreign transaction fees- and they don't accept returns on opened fragrance. Something to note.

تست امشب .❤️ شکوفه شب . شکوفه مهتاب نمی‌دونم چی ترجمه میشه و معنا میده ولی چنان آرامش عمیقی توش هست که انگار زیر نور مهتاب تو ی شب تابستونی قدم میزنی تو ی حیاط بزرگ پر از گل .رقص عطر شکوفه های یاس تو سکوت شب توجهت رو بیش از پیش جلب می‌کنه ی شاهکار . هرچی از کیفییت والای این عطر بگم کم گفتم مون بلوم به تمام معنا قابل احترام و ستایشه شروعی درخشان و پرمایه از انفجار گل‌های سفید . نرولی . یاس . مریم با اون وجه سبز و پرطروات و لمس حس ایندولیک اما کنترل شده این عطر اصلا به کارنال فلاور شباهتی نداره مون بلوم کمپلکس تره انگار با بوی عسل غنی شده باشه حس مومی و شهد گل‌های سفید که انگار داغییه آفتاب تابستون شیره وجودنشونو به نمایش گذاشته مثل طلای مذاب پر از درخشش ‌و احترامه تو قلب عطر من کمی حس اسپایسی هل و میخک هم میگیرم هر چه به جلو میریم بوی گل مریم مشهود تره نکته بسیار پر اهمیت تو این عطر سنگ بنای قلب عطر و پافشاری روی آکورد فلورال بدون هیچ نت اضافیه که اون ظرافت بوی گلها تا آخر عطر پابرجاست از نظر پرفورمنس خیلی قدرتمند نیست چون طبیعه هیچ مولکول مزاحم و سنگینی حس نمیشه تو عطر کیفییت هم خارق العادست .

Wow, now this is one spectacular tuberose fragrance. Dreamy and creamy, and as natural smelling as the scent of real blossoms in the night air, it’s like sticking your nose in an actual flower but with more complexity. It’s a rich, heady and plush gardenia like indolic tuberose, balanced with jasmine and earthy leaf like green notes that keep it from from going too sweet or cloying. It’s meticulously balanced and one of the best and most realistic white florals I have ever had the pleasure of smelling. This is a white floral master class of a perfume and in my humble opinion blows Carnal Flower out of the garden. It’s creamier and less botanical feeling than CF, more voluptuous but without going over the top in Fracas fashion. I’ve never been much of a fan of tuberose dominant fragrances until recently and stuff like Moon Bloom helps me understand what all the fuss is about. This is pretty much a perfect white floral in my opinion, worthy of the word masterpiece. 10/10

This was a blind buy that instantly shot into my top 5 after the first wearing. Gorgeous, striking blend of tuberose and jasmine with a little coconut and spices. Sillage is noticeable but not too loud. I find some tuberose fragrances a little hard to wear (Fracas) due to a "screechy" note I sometimes get, but this is so wearable and pretty, it's hard to believe it's made entirely of naturals. Longevity is pretty average on me. Reminds me quite a bit of Carnal Flower but a little spicier and less green, a bit sweeter too. This is such a beautiful perfume, I really can't recommend it enough. My only complaint is the atomizer bulb, but at least the bottle comes with a screw on top that you can use to store it with so there won't be any evaporation. I'm not too concerned as I will probably decant this into an atomizer anyway, I want to have it with me at all times! :)

I love myself some carnal tuberose, and this certainly is one... the kind that smells like how a sensual kiss on your neck feels. Heavy-lidded, bare shoulders, "I'll keep your secrets" kind of tuberose. But don't worry, it won't wear you or overwhelm you. Moon Bloom is a rare blend where it morphs into you, tailoring itself to your skin like a mood ring. It's amazing. Moon Bloom reveals herself in layers, and every layer is more delicious than the last, so bear with the opening... it can come off as a stuffy vintage-like tuberose, especially if you over-spray. What you're rewarded with in the dry-down is worth it: warm, fragrant tuberose with creamy coconut, a touch of jasmine, and smooth resin. It carries on like this for hours. Best tuberose I've tried? So far, yes, absolutely. Full bottle worthy. Might have to kick my Bvlgari Tubereuse Mystique out of the way!

You'll think this is over LONG before it's actually over. "Typical natural perfume," you'll mutter to yourself in exasperation, shortly before a wave of gorgeous fragrance bowls you over. How many times have I imagined how an "opulent, evocative" perfume would smell, only to be completely deflated and confused on actually smelling the fragrance? Well this smells exactly as gorgeous as I thought it would. I have been to the botanical gardens in the dead of Canadian winter and this smells just as alluring. Medicine for the soul. Recommended uses: - Midnight meditation - A gathering of perfume-grumpy but not actually allergic people (the worst of them won't hate this, not by a long shot) - Spellcasting, roleplaying, fantasising about distant times - Writing poetry Edit: Honestly, I find I wear this so much. It just hops onto my wrist. Low risk, high reward.

Romantic delight I am convinced that Hiram Green definitely found the inspiration in Carnal Flower, mostly because the composition tuberose - the greens - coconut is very similar. It is very difficult to decide which of these two perfumes are better! CF is my first tuberic love and that delight was (just) repeated at the first encounter with Moon Bloom. Nothing less, nothing more. The Moon Bloom's definite advantage is than it is absolutely natural and has no synthetics like Carnal Flower. Also, because of the stronger jasmine and ylang ylang presence, is therefore more feminine and tropical, so it seems to me that CF is better suited to men. Anyway, Moon Bloom is a romantic masterpiece, seductive and opulent without borders, and those who love tuberose will not resist it's siren's call. And what the heck - I am wearing it :)) 5/5

Having emerged from another brutal midwest winter, I find myself obsessing over my favorite flower, the intoxicating tuberose. The sun is out, trees are budding and my soul is craving life giving scents that promise the summer to come. Do Son has been my long time companion but I recently branched out and ordered several decanted samples of tuberose scents from The Perfumed Court. A couple dabs of Moon Bloom and my husband and I are both smitten. It truly smells like I am burying my face into a bunch of tuberose that are just on the verge of opening up. It's been two hours and I can't stop smelling my wrist. I don't know yet about longevity or sillage but if this natural perfume means I'll need to reapply later in the day, so be it. I'll be buying a full bottle and can't wait to see how it smells in humidity.

Painfully beautiful. Of the eight fragrances I've properly tested from this brand, Moon Bloom is surprisingly my favorite. I didn't expect to have a strong reaction to (yet another) tuberose fragrance. Indeed, I have smelled (and own) plenty of tuberose scents, of which my favorite is (was) Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle. After four skin tests, my verdict remains the same: Moon Bloom surpasses CF and is my favorite Tuberose of all time. If you're used to the flat, lifeless aromachemicals that comprise the majority of fragrances these days, this one might startle your senses. It might be A LOT and you might not know how to process it. But this is indeed real olfactory art and real ingredients. It's dimensional, indolic, and luscious. Narcotic. It makes you feel things. I adore it.

I really abhor the term "mood elevator" in some ways as it slides back into perfume-as-therapy or perfume-as-esoterica quicker than I'm comfortable with–but if there was ever a mood elevator, this is it. From the moment it hits skin this is a heady, absolutely gorgeous full-bodied tuberose and it really sticks around for its entire lifespan; I hesitate to use the word "tropical" as the coconut here is not a strong presence but it feels beachy and tropical in some sense regardless. I detect very little spice, very little resinous anything to weigh it down, but that's fine by me– it's heavy enough on its own. I personally cannot vibe on Carnal Flower at all and find the comparisons don't totally make sense here, FYI; if you like one there's no guarantee you'll like the other.

Warm, spicy tuberose bubblegum. It's giving slinky-funky-cool, in a unisex way that I really enjoy, and there's a light beachiness to it as well. It's peculiar, yet sensual. Like eating a whiskey-banana flavored ice cream cone, in a vintage convertible, on the way home from a long day at the beach, with dried sand still on your shins. The interplay between the green and spicy accords creates a slightly vegetal, metallic edge that could easily be off-putting if it weren't so perfectly counterbalanced by the smooth, balsamic butteriness of the resin and coconut notes. And of course that sweet, supple, skin-line tuberose sits prominently at the heart of it all. It's a testament to how well this fragrance is blended that its peculiar, funky elegance works as well as it does.

I received a sample of this perfume in the mail yesterday and wore it yesterday. I have to say this perfume touched me deeply with its beauty. It is creamy, yet green, soft, yet bold, floral but spicy, seductive yet innocent. The contradictions at play in this perfume are nothing like I have ever experienced before in a fragrance. You can really tell this is all natural. The quality of the ingredients and the care Hiram has given the composition of those ingredients really shines through from first application all the way through to the dry down. This is the most I have ever spent on a bottle of perfume but I ordered it today and can not wait to get it. I have a feeling I will be wearing this very often and it will not take me very long to go through the whole bottle!

THIS is the kind of tuberose I react to in the deepest recesses of my soul: this incredibly natural, indolic, somewhat medicinal, camphorous unabashedly true TUBEROSE! Moon Bloom is one of the best of the best of the best, up there with Serge's unbelievable Tubereuse Criminelle (tragically discontinued!), and it also reminds me of some of the floral Strange Invisible Perfumes in terms of its naturalness. This smells like a perfume from another place and time, befitting of A Midsummer Night's Dream's Titania. I kick myself for not having bought this already, as the cost has become borderline prohibitive, so I'll have to forgo quite a few others on my wishlist if I decide to take the plunge on this one, but.....GOD it's SO amazing! Love love love Hiram's work.

I feel a bit bad reviewing this, because I could tell that it was an exceptional perfume, but I still do not like tuberose! A gorgeous and complex floral with highlights of tuberose and jasmine and with a hint of coconut in the background that is absolutely to die for -- and I do not mean "coconut" like the fake coconut smell or taste, I mean like actual coconuts straight from a tree; not oversweet but utterly fresh and almost sharp. I think this is the 'green' note that some reviews mention -- for me it was coconut (but not as you might know it, Jim). It's really buttery and lush rather than harsh, as some florals can be. I think this may be down to the ingredients being natural. Frankly, given the lasting power and the nuances of the scent, I'm amazed.

I expected to love this and I am not disappointed. It opens like a kindler, gentler Fracas and then settles down quite quickly into a soft jasmine. Then there's this back and forth between the two with the tuberose the dominant one. The florals in this perfume are beautiful, natural smelling and soft. Tuberose and jasmine, especially at this wattage can be screechy, but not in this composition. This is just gorgeous. I think what's making the florals so nice is the hint of coconut in the background. At this point, about four hours after applying a tiny amount on a very hot, humid day, the coconut is starting to become detectable as a separate note. This is a very successful all natural perfume. Good longevity and sillage, beautiful composition. Lovely!

Moon Bloom is ridiculously decadent, an indulgence of white flowers with that indolic reminder that flowers are sex organs. Opens with fresh sharp green, like the first cut of a thick plant stem, of big florid tuberose and jasmine, then gets even lusher with a hint of spice in sweet cream, and fleshy coconut. That’s all in the first five minutes, and where it stays for two days, melting slowly down into the skin. There’s a roughness to it, making one aware of the quality of the raw materials (the way a really good olive oil has a heady earthiness, or how heavy dupioni silk bends light) that easily justifies the top shelf cost. I’d consider springing for a bottle, if I weren’t already cheating on Fracas with Love Tuberose.

The scent that made me realise I don't hate tuberose. I have to be in the right mood for this one, as someone that finds tuberose difficult, but when the weather's right, this stuff is SO good. If you've smelled tuberose and jasmine wafting through the air in a hot, humid country, this scent captures that perfectly. The way it just wafts off skin is incredible. This is nothing like most usual perfume-y tuberoses to me, though somewhat like Carnal Flower's (another green tuberose) warmer blooded sister. As I said, this isn't an "any time" scent for me, so if you have a sample and you find it too much, try it under different conditions and you may find it hits differently. For me, it NEEDS warmer, summery weather.

I got less involved in fragrances after I had my first child, life gets very.......complicated, lol. But I didn't stop buying, wearing or loving perfume. I'm adding fragrances to my shelves as I go through them. I just read an article about the new Hiram Green bottle change and new addition, which prompted me to review. Moonbloom is gorgeous. That's it, lol. Actually it's a lovely tuberose dominant white floral. I do get a bit of spice. If I have one critique, it would be that I'd like more of that spice and warmth from the resins at the base. I'm not complaining one bit, though. It's a stunning, smooth, natural smelling (it doesn't have any weird "synthetic" smell to me). It's luscious, a heady tuberose.

I have no love for tuberose, but Moon Bloom is a game changer. The only tuberose soliflore I actually crave. It starts out the same way in which all tuberose perfumes do, with me thinking eeek, no! But within ten minutes it softens and sweetens considerably until it becomes the tuberose of my Hawaiian fantasies. It's a tropical tuberose. Humid, with traces of green coconut flesh and coconut milk. Have you ever had rice steamed in banana leaves? That is the kind of green I notice here, a warm, nutty green, not a bright, tangy green like a fresh plant. *For tuberose lovers, this is a blind-buy worthy masterpiece. Wow this perfume is stunning. I just sampled Philtre and thought it was nice but not for me. But this, this is the perfume I’ve been longing for and didn’t even know it. The florals are so lush, there’s a sweetness to the flowers and they smell like I’m standing in the most fragrant garden. There’s a bit of powdery essence when I smell it close to me. It’s so beautiful . I told myself I was done buying perfumes, as I have way too many, but Moon Bloom is so gorgeous it will be my last purchase for awhile, as I must have it. If you love the smell of fresh white florals, this is the crème de la crème of them all. I’ve honestly never smelled anything more beautiful except in nature.

It really surprised me how much I like this. Got for a friend, but had to take a sniff. I thought florals weren’t for me, and maybe this is just because of nostalgia/memories, but this one is pretty magical to me. I am from Hawaii, and remember smelling night-blooming jasmine while on walks in the dark in my childhood, and this brings me right back to that. It’s cool, a little dark, and is just absolutely photorealistic night blooming jasmine without any of those fakey synthetic floral scents that make my head ache. It’s not sweet, just cool and fresh and airy and deep. Makes me think of a very starry, not too cold spring night. So beautiful!

Very precise name! This perfume reminds me white flowers from my village - Night Butterfly Orchids, their light and delicate aroma. During day-time these flowers are just little things in the grass, but after sunset you could find them with closed eyes by smell only! May be someone could wear this perfume during the day, but I think it is too girlish and for work you need something more “self-sefficient”, I would not recommend it for a date either, except you want to look like innocent angel who never heard about sex. Best way this perfume works for me is when I go to sleep: I close my eyes, take a deep breath and fall into fairyland!

I can’t stop smelling myself. This is the most head over heels love at first sniff I have ever experienced and this just gets even better as it dries down. This is one of the most perfectly blended perfumes I have ever encountered. So smooth, so creamy. Exotic, tropical, and heady without being suffocating. Fantastic projection and longevity. I need this in my life. Reminds me a bit of the lovechild of M. Micallef Ylang in Gold and Cartier Baiser Volé Essence with tuberose rather than lily but while I love those perfumes they both give me headaches and this one does not. Straight to the top 5 of all time. Perfection! True love!

I recently purchased a small sample of Moon Bloom. I have read the epic reviews of it around the Internet and I was a bit underwhelmed, thinking it was good but not that's great. Until tonight. I went to a little soirée with nice and elegant people all wearing Prada or Hermès and such. At some point during the evening I thought Hmm something smell really good... It's was my wrist with the two little drops of Moon Bloom! I am a tuberose lover and Moon Bloom delivers. I wanted to try a little more upscale natural perfumes and OMG I think there is no turning back... Longevity is surprisingly good. A new love.

Beautiful! Just perfection, this is Tuberose that is real!...natural! so true to the flower. It is creamy, soft, smooth ...the gentle white folds are palpable. It is blended seamlessly with Jasmine and the other notes, all playing a very low key supportive role, I hardly detect any resins or coconut, amazingly good for a natural perfume. It is Tuberose in the perfect bloom sweet phase, not indolic or screechy at all, this is quality. I can highly recommend to all Tuberose lovers, this is so great, and I am so happy to have been shown the way by the good fragranticans. Good projection and longevity.

Testing my sample; this is tuberose zenith, opens spicy, green, and quite heavy with tuberose, followed by an indolic jasmine and thick ylang with the lightest touch of coconut. Smells like a tropical rainforest chockfull of the aforementioned notes, fully blooming. Their scents mingle with the humidity and permeate everywhere. As heavy as it is, this is best in warm weather, you need a bit of external heat for this to develop as its meant to. Very strong on my skin, it's been a little over 3 hrs and it's beaming from the crook of my elbow. I'd absolutely consider a full bottle for this.

So comforting, bright and full. Perfect for a slow weekend at home with the sun filtering in through the windows onto the sofa so that it feels like your home is full of tropical flowers. It says coconut in the notes together with jasmine and tuberose and it might make you think of fragrances like Terracotta by Guerlain, with that sunny, beachy sun oil vibe. This is not that at all, but a natural green (but not sharp), bright realistic tuberose. Good sillage and great longevity, I would love for this to be my chilling-at-home-and-getting-energy-to-do-the-dishes-fragrance.

The opening is all spice on my skin, almost a white pepper vibe. However, this quickly changes to beautifully interwoven tuberose and jasmine. Both are incredibly natural and can be singled out individually, as well as combining to make a glorious scent whilst the spiciness slips into the background, never departing but stepping back to allow the white florals to shine. I don't really get the ylang ylang or resin, but there are creamy coconut hints in the base after a few hours. It very quickly loses sillage, but longevity is good.

One of the most unsafe tuberose-centered fragrances you can get, but if you love this note, and if you fancy a challenge try Moon Bloom. It opens with very animalistic and indulgent tuberose with resinous (latex even) nuances. I would say it is very concentrated to the point that it has some 1/2 fecal 1/2 medicinal notes in it akin to tuberose absolute. I also get a bit of indolic jasmine and creamy coconut. Not sweet at all to me, but quite creamy. This perfume is a real deal tuberose that is far from being a "safe choice".

I absolutely adore this perfume. It's one I need a full bottle of one day. It smells expensive, the scent is super deep, the sillage is enormous and it lasts forever. On me this perfume stays exactly the same from first spray to end of the night. Opens with a deep, warm, smooth tuberose and jasmine. Definitely would say "narcotic" is very fitting. Slightly spicy on me but not at all overpowering. Feels like a hot humid summer night surrounded by tuberose, ylangylang, and jasmine. One of my favourite scents as well.

On paper: It's almost like Disocactus Anguliger, a night-blooming epicactus. I propagated it and have 4 pots full now and hope to fill my home with this magical scent which you could describe as flower-scented (jasmin/bergamot) black tea. The perfume is female but I am going to try and get away with it... On skin: No, I can't, it's too happy cheerful full of flowers for me. Not enough tea and darkness. It's made for an elegant lady dressed in white, just like the famous night-blooming flower, Queen of the night.

Hiram Green uses 100% natural substances, and it shows. This is a rich, heady white floral dripping in syrupy crystallized honey-sugar. It's got a powdery-grainy texture, like Francesca Bianchi fragrances, and is thickly sweet, like jasmine-honey with some warm spices in the background. Normally, heavy white florals tend to hurt my nose, but because this one is not synthetic, it doesn't and makes me want to keep sniffing my arm. Smell: 9 out of 10 Longevity: 8 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.

This is a tuberose and jasmine scent with a decent amount of body. It starts off like a non-powdery hothouse floral. It’s not fairy-glenn vibes, but more like if the fairies were in high court sitting in an exquisitely manicured garden surrounded by tuberose at the peak of its bloom. As the day goes on, the florals lose some of their intensity, but the resins move forward and ground the floral elements. It does at times feel tropical, but also not? This is absolutely divine and lasts forever.

Exquisite. Moon Bloom is a green tuberose scent, a day before it is in full bloom. Very fresh and natural. There are a lot of great tuberose scents out there, and this is one of the best. When jasmine enters the drydown, I would also say it’s one of the best white florals on the market. All that with very good performance. Opulent and indulgent, it’s just beautiful. I’m without words. Lusting after a full bottle, and with a large collection it has to be amazing or it’s a pass.

Wow thank you Aioosha for letting me try this besuty. It's extremely heady and realistic, the opening is both green and spicy but it settled int a beautiful tropical tuberose with a bit of ginger, (to my nose) also reminds me of awaphui Hawaiian ginger. It's very natural, smells like a real flower in the humid air. Now I'm gonna go cry cause it's $$$! If you want a cheaper but less heady tuberose/ spicy scent try Twilly. Similar but unfortunately I can't wear that one.
