This is Not A Blue Bottle 1.5

1828 opens very fresh and energetic with a bright citrus burst from grapefruit, lemon and tangerine. The eucalyptus stands out right away and gives it that cool, green freshness. There’s also this airy, slightly soapy and piney feel that makes it smell super clean and refreshing. In the heart, spices start to come through. Nutmeg and pepper add a bit of warmth, but it stays light and easy to wear. The aromatic character is still very present, so it never feels heavy. As it settles, the woody side becomes more noticeable. Cedarwood and vetiver give it a dry, clean structure, while incense adds a soft smoky touch in the background. It keeps that fresh aromatic feel, just with a bit more depth. 1828 is one of those fragrances you reach for when you want something clean, fresh and put together without overthinking it. 1.5 at the gym? 1.5 by histoire de parfum is a synthetic flower bed almost to pretty to be real wich is the vibes they wanted to create by making this perfume. 1.5 is a fresh and musky perfume which feels like it was generated by A.I almost as if the assignment was making a flower based fragrance without any knowledge of what flowers look or smell like. But by only having synthetic ingredients and the idea’s of what flowers are and smell like. Now wearing it at the gym make me feel clean by also cold and unapproachable, which is the vibe I’m going for but sometimes 1.5 made me feel a bit uncomfortable and uneasy maybe it’s too clean and too perfect for the gym. However it is still a really nice perfume for everyday and all weather ! It has a good longevity and a soft personal sillage.

This is a scent made for sport related activities. It is not weak performance at all but rather after 30min-45min from the first spray, your nose becomes nose-blind to it because the musk just blend to your skin and your own body scent. Then when you playing sport / exercising, this musky scent will mix with your sweat and evaporate from the heat of your body. People around you will notice that you smell good but they can't pin point what notes exactly they are smelling but they just know "Damn you smell good". I believe that's just how a musk scent should be, like a quiet noise, it is there but it is not loud. Very enjoyable and gym/sport friendly scent.

Soapy aldehydes, very fresh, powdery floral (slightly) and musky clean. I love soapy scents and own many, and this ranks highly amongst them. Smells nothing like Jhag not a perfume imo. They're both minimalist molecule fragrances, but that's where the similarities end. This smells like you you are taking a bath with artisinal soap in a nice hotel. Super clean and perfect for scorching heat, office use, or any other casual situation where you want to smell soapy clean, but wear diffent from soap heavy houses like Prada. Scent 8.5/10 Performance 5/10

This has become my go to and I will be weary once I finish my small version. It brings me in a better mood instantly. It’s very artificial but in the most elegant yet futuristic way possible. For some reason it reminds me of The Fifth Element for some reason. Most impressive on instant spray then it becomes more musky. Saving my last drops for the next summer.

Just a short review for this one, it is a very simple fragrance. It is head and shoulders above the pack for aldehydes - it is a stunning, rounded, beautiful blend that doesn't suffer from accidental screechy, headache or nausea inducing edges! Clean, bright, light.. a very gentle almost bubble bath kind of fragrance. Stunning! 100% worth a try!!!

Probably the first modern aldehydic I'm testing. Surprisingly pleasant! Citrusy, a bit spicy, a bit musky, a little sweetness, it has everything it needs to make a modern aldehydic likeable and easily wearable! I personally love this and will further test it to see if I'm hooked enough to get a full bottle 🤭

AHHH I LOVE THIS SOO MUCH! This fragrance fulfills all my powdery dreams! The mineral notes evoke a very specific memory for me. It smells like going to the waterpark in my hometown before it turns on at 10AM. I just love it!!! BUT I wish it lasted longer. On my skin, it has a very short lifespan.

This smells like salty clean air and soap. I definitely like this. It projects off me but it doesn't project long. This is like hanging fresh laundry out in the country on clothes lines. I would wear this year round.

A fresh clean citrus perfume. Very beautiful.

I gave this another try - spotted this in a secondhand marketplace and decided to give this a go! Aldehydic musk is what I mainly sense here- I cannot comment on the similarity between other fragrances listed except Not a perfume, Zara's Flower Please and The Body Shop's White musk (for men). Not a perfume shares similar softer musk characteristics. Flower Please has too prominent aldehydic presence that it can be too piercing. The Body Shop's White Musk has this powderiness and heaviness. This however, at least to my nose, has more flowers than "generic" flowers entail in the note breakdown - Mimosa and Magnolia comes to mind, albeit very subtle. Citrus just adds a bit of brightness to the fragrance. Not a groundbreaking fragrance, but a pleasant one!

Generic citrusy aldehydic ozonic freshie. Will not offend anyone, nor will get you any compliment. Wear it for yourself, assuming you manage to smell it (on my skin, it becomes a subtle skin scent after 5min and totally disappeared after 2 hours). Spring/Summer days, 10-30yo. Edit: it has evolved on my skin. Now it's mainly an ozonic/adehyde/musc fragrance, that should lean feminine according to that description, but that is very unsiex, surprisingly. Quite interesting actually, even if I insist in stating that it should last longer. (ok...ok... it probably lasts more than 5 min, but still, this is not a cheapie...)

It's interesting how some people perceive this as floral and others as citrus, but to me it's just straight white musk, but like in a connotative instead of a denotative way - I'm sure it doesn't literally smell like the singular "white musk" note/accord, because there are other notes, but those notes just serve to make it exactly what I expect a nice white musk to smell like. Lightly sweet, clean, soft. It's like a gentler L'eau Papier.

I didn’t have high hopes smelling it from the bottle but once I sprayed it on me it was a nice and clean, powdery scent. Kind of like a baby powder for adults. Wish the sillage was a bit stronger for the price. A great summer scent that isn’t painfully overpowering like a lot of them are.

I agree with those who say this isn’t a performer - very subtle on my skin after 5 min. I smell the mineral, ambroxan notes, but also get something coldly herbal - not mint but not warm herbs. I got this as a sample and can see myself using sometimes, but likely won’t buy a full bottle.

It has some sweetness that I don't enjoy too much on my skin. It's clean and girly, will be a nice one for layering, but I'm not sure if it's the best option for this scent profile taking into account the price tag If you are into musky, baby-powdery smell, makes sense to give it a try

A honeyed, floral satiny fragrance. A soapy, fresh, mineralic take. It doesn't last long, but I quite enjoy this when I want a pick-me-up that won't overwhelm. 7.5/10

On me this leans decidedly masculine. I wouldn't mind that except I don't really care for it. There's nothing offensive about it....it's very soapy and citrusy. The silage and longevity on my skin is weak as anything. I probably won't even finish the sample I got from my subscription box. If I knew a young man (under 25) I'd hand it off to him.

Minimalistic scent with musk, aldehydes and ambroxan, all synthetic. This is an ok fragrance nothing more. Longevity is weak, not worth the price tag.

This one has no personality. It’s usable, but so neutral... This thing won’t bring anything to my life. For me is a no.

Barely-there, inoffensive, salty, mineral-musk.

Soap bubbles flying high up in the sky. A typical ozonic-aldehyde mix that reminds you of a sunny day with blue sky, a classic somehow (reminds a bit of Serge Lutend L'froide with clean glas windows). The citrus, so characteristic for this Not a blue bottle line is in the background, but still noticeable. Ambroxan is also in play. Overall poor longevity for a completely synthetic scent: it becomes a skin scent after 2h and completely vanishes after 4h... UPDATE: having been wearing this for a couple of Days, I must admit, it is definitely a window cleaner. Not for me, too much "cleaning Product"...

Opens with a refined detergent character. Not necessarily bad, but too reminiscent of cleaning products over personal fragrance. It calms down a bit and I get a more mild and warm musky scent up front, but still comes off too soapy for me. Looking at the notes now, the mix is exactly that. The Aldehydes, Ozonic notes, Ambroxan, Mineral notes are mostly what you get with moments of Citruses and Floral Notes and an undercurrent of Musk. Just too soapy at the end of the day, but interesting.

Honestly, I was hopeful. I was all excited to get my bottle. I smell the citrus and aldehydes, but sadly on my skin it makes me 'think' about baby powder. I seriously dislike the smell of baby powder. I personally would say don't blind buy. I would get a sample first IMO.

A good choice for summer days. After a long time spent testing different fragrances i decided on this one. I totally love it for summer days. Fresh but not in a masculine way on me. The opening made me so feel so happy, i realized it smells like tequila with salt and lemon and salty breeze from the sea. The composition is said to be inspired by an imaginary flower but i don't get even the slightest hint of flower in this. Rather it stays citrusy and crisp. It reminds me of sunny days and shirts drying in the fresh air. Nothing extreme or offensive. an easy fragrance for summer. I compare it to this is not a perfume, same note is present and moscow mule for the citrusy-boozy opening and crisp scent. As for longevity it has a good performance...i am able to smell whiffs of it after 5 hours, it lasts longer on clothes. Even if i like the perfume and the feel of the bottle the price point is high and perhaps in the realm of fresh/clean fragrances something like this exists already for a smaller price. The curios search continues....

Gently soapy, fresh and aldehydic. There’s some light musk and the tiniest edge of bright citrus. I don’t really detect the ambroxan in this which is nice, although it does give the musk a golden feel. It’s overall a clean and unassuming perfume that would be pleasant on just about anyone in hot weather. 1.5 feels cold and quite synthetic initially but as it lives on the skin and the musk becomes more prominent it develops some warmth and life. It does feel a bit hollow at it’s center but it’s a very attractive sort of hollow, like a beautifully decorated egg that’s been blown out first. This is a skin scent perfect for situations where you want to smell clean and attractive but not like perfume.

This is made for high heat I live in Socal and travel to the Middle East a lot for work and this is a must pack. This is a mixture of You Or Someone Like You, Molecule 01, and Mugler Cologne. Fresh clean brisk air is what this smells like The downfall....the price! I'm I an idiot for buying this again and again? Yeah. Even at discounters this is hella expensive so try before you buy. If you test it first and like the smell I would still asked you to think before you pay the price tag.

You people get so carried away. It simply smells like Prada Luna Rosa.. nothing more nothing less.. and this isn’t debatable. Ps: Smells like Versace the dreamer in the drydown, I got really good performance from this, but after 5 hrs you can smell low quality vanilla in the base.. exactly like the dreamer. I do not like This is not a blue bottle 1/1, but this 1/5 is very different and much nicer! Soft and cuddly like a mother’s skin smells to a child (how I imagine). To me this is very similar to Diptique L’Eau Papier, but nicer and softer (because L’Eau Papier gives me a bit of headache from maybe too much ambroxan?)

really not a fan of this line. this is pretty indistinguishable for an average male deodorant. simple & synthetic. easy for everyday but i don't know how buying this would bring anything to one's life.

Its been 20 years since Ive had a bottle so the notes may be off a little bit but this reminds me of BLV by blvgari which im pretty sure was discontinued - if you are missing it, this may be for you.

White clean mineral musky citrus and soft flowers, nice simple and casual, very nice for after shower or for sport and hanging out. Perfectly unisex imo.

-Musky aldehydes. -Has a tinge of sweetness and woody notes..but overall a nondescript scent that all but vanishes in a few short hours. (-)
