This one felt different to me right from the start. It opens with a fresh, slightly sweet citrus vibe, something like orange, but smooth and not sharp at all. Very easy to like from the first spray. After a bit, I start getting some warm spices, something like cardamom or nutmeg, along with a light aromatic and slightly herbal touch that gives it character without making it feel heavy. There is also a soft sweetness in the background, but it stays airy and controlled. It reminds me of vanilla, tonka, or a light amber warmth, nothing too sweet or overpowering. As it develops, I really start to notice a creamy woodiness that I enjoyed a lot. It makes the whole scent feel smoother and more complete. What I liked the most is how balanced it feels. I don't know what I expected but I thought it is going to be some kind of experiment. Instead I get very clean, aldehydic yet slightly gourmand vanilla, lots of it. There's something aromatic like juniper or perhaps some green, fresh patchouli. I do also get lactonic/coconut vibes with some cashmeran. It feels like a fluffy, soft, aromatic, slightly lactonic, fresh vanilla cloud :) Could be a touch of lily of the valley or a white floral of some sort too. Edited: I forgot to mention ambroxan that is surely here and it usually bothers me if it is too much. In Sold Out it kind of melts into that fluff and aromatics, not lingering harshly, rather whiffing some of that freshness/cleanliness throughout the wear Really like it and love the concept - raises creativity and curiosity.

I’ve got a generous sample of this, arrived today. First impression was quite nice, but then for approximately 15-30 minutes, it irritated me with a little too much spices and some sharpness. However, it calmed down! Now, I think it with linger with a softer and more sweet charactere, through this evening. Leather, maybe honey, maybe a little bit of coconut or some other nuts. Not like a gourmand, but cozy and softly sweet. More feminine to me, not very unisex. Calming and reassuring. So far, I really like it!! I will see, eventually, if I even love it. Edit, just a couple of hours later! Yes, I have upgraded it to a LOVE. I don’t know when I can afford it, but I do want a full bottle! Delicious!

It has a distinctly modern fragrance structure. It feels like a reflection of quiet luxury, with longevity and projection that are refined rather than overpowering. There is a strong presence of natural citrus notes, but when they blend with synthetic musky materials and an aldehydic nuance, the scent becomes intriguingly abstract and elusive. The longevity is quite good, while the projection feels soft and restrained, staying close to the skin.

I tried it out today in Dubai Mall - it’s really nice, effervescent and I’m getting a dose of aldehydes with a slightly gourmand citrusy vanilla aspect. Feels airy and really beautiful - I’m considering getting a full bottle, love it

The first spray had me going "woah! what's this?" in an intriguing way. Despite not revealing the notes until this day (3rd April 2026), I believe it has green apple in it. The modern approach to it reminds me of Ganymede's. And based on the photo on the website & my sniffs my guess on the notes is: Top: - aldehydes - bergamot or bitter citrus peel - ozonic/mineral accord - maybe green apple or violet leaf Mid: - a clean mineral/musky core - maybe floral Base: - ambrox - white musk - cedar or cashmeran - maybe sandalwood - possibly a very soft tobacco-smokey nuance I see this as a Spring/Summer sunset time scent for a beach party, for example. I would not use this at the office. It's too sharp and strikingly different. Too attention grabbing for a quiet environment. This is for the young late 20's early 30's guy with a short and shirt vibe in a social setting meeting new people. It is bright, energizing, attention grabbing, and uplifting. My bet on this from usage: The blend of the green apple and tobacco in it is unique. I think this could go a very long way with its function in such an environment. But I would use it in a limited way, and not every day.

this one surprised me, at first I had no idea what to expect, but I ended up liking it, opening is spicy, citrusy and woody with vanilla notes in there, sweet, fruity, pretty fresh, and on the dry down it gets soapy, musky, almost floral leaning, quite aldehydic/ozonic in a marine/aquatic kind of way, but without any of the actual marine fragrance elements, just that specific quality, which I can appreciate, spray and dry down both have a pretty drastic change and they both evolve quite a lot, which is interesting, I'm also getting the sillage is different than the close up effect, which gives it a certain complexity nice, but not sure I can justify getting a bottle for this one

Eglegil's comments are very accurate. This is a slightly smoother, softer and easier to wear Frederic Malle's Acne Studios. I get an aldehydic/vanilla/bubble gum/clean laundry accord. It is less sweet and screechy than Acne Studios, and I think it is better than Acne Studios. So if you are like me, and you tried Acne Studios and it was just "too much" for you, give Sold Out! a try. For me personally, this scent profile is not my thing, but it certainly is a pleasant fragrance. I give it a solid 7/10.

Testing on paper and will update when I get a full wear. My impression right now is that it appears very designer and crowd-pleasing, yet of high quality. I perceive notes of vanilla and that "raw egg" scent someone else mentioned, which is likely a sea note accord—common in designer aquatics (which I hate). Will likely end up selling my bottle.

I only smelled it on a paper strip, and just from that I thought: NOPE! It smelled very fruity, sugary and sickening sweet, and not in an original or creative way at all. I wanted to test on skin just to give my opinion, but I really couldn't stand it.

Bland, milky, eggy aroma-chemical soup. It's a hard pass for me, although I didn't put it on skin so maybe I'll try again once I forget how it smelled on the card.

This might be one of the worst fragrances I've ever smelled. The overwhelming synthetic, deodorant-like accord is incredibly suffocating. To my nose, it's absolutely awful. I have nothing against this line—I genuinely loved 1.1—but this one is a huge disappointment.

Opens with a lactonic fig and vanilla, with mango(?) notes, it’s the typical fruit + (insert note here) combo that’s pretty trendy these days. Think Oud Maracuja. Then a synthetic ozonic note appears in the mids, not sure if it’s calone. But it’s the ‘empty volume’ that synthetics possess, it feels like a 7-up but without any real volume, and it tickles your brain into a borderline headache / nausea. I applaud the perfumer for trying something different and unusual, but this one is the case of being different for the sake of being different. It feels like an experiment of mixing two random notes and seeing if it will stick. Very low effort. Even the marketing is lazy. I am a big big HdP fan but I am gonna pass on this one.

There is a subtle spicy touch that brings to mind pink pepper, followed by a clean, airy musk accord that creates a fresh laundry-like effect. As it develops, I get creamy sandalwood and a soft tonka sweetness that make the fragrance feel comforting and highly wearable. The overall impression is modern, playful, and slightly addictive—sweet, clean, and luminous without becoming gourmand. It actually reminds me a little of Love-O-Matic by Room 1015, sharing the same airy balance between sweetness, musk, and contemporary synthetic textures.

It opens with a nice citrus midley, develops a slightly sweet undertone, maybe vanilla, maybe a very small dose of tonka, I think there might be a touch of myrrh or incense as well. Then, the usual suspect piercing my nose. This has to have a lot of Ambroxan. What a plague! everything I try has this horrid synthetic molecule from the pits of hell! I love sampling and collecting perfumes but lately everything reeks of Ambroxan/Ambrofix/Amberwoods... it is like a nightmare. Sample it first.

The notes i can feel is ginger/saffron. Vanilla, cardamom, and mandarin. Don’t know if it’s right but that what i can feel. But i like it. Got a 8 ml sample and yeah i like it. But i think the scent fits better for colder days.

I’m getting vanilla ambers and musk. Soft skin scent. I also just had th flu and can barely smell anything lately. But that’s what I’m getting.
