Tubéreuse Nuit Blanche

Someone suggested Tubereuse Nuit Blanche as similar to, if not better than Matiere Premiere "French Flower." Because I love the notes, I blind-purchased both fragrances. FWIW Histories de Parfums "Tubereuse Nuit Blance" is not at all like French Flower. Tubereuse Nuit Blanche opens with intense, spicy, peppery, metallic notes, which I assume are ginger, elemi and saffron. Tuberose and other mixed floral notes emerge that are soft and pleasing. The tuberose is not green and definitely non-indolic. I do not find TNB particularly creamy, lactonic, or smooth. The intense ginger and saffron notes maintain a distinct sharpness throughout the wear adding depth and interest to the tuberose accord. The base notes add a vanilla woodiness to the drydown. TNB maintains a certain lightness and sweetness as it unfolds on skin. The pretty melange of florals is quite noticeable during the perfume's drydown. Tubereuse Nuit Blanche went from "SELL ON EBAY" to "TOTAL LOVE!" I feel fortunate to own it!

This perfume opens with a sharp, vibrant ginger note that immediately grabs attention. Within minutes, a lush white floral heart takes over, it feels like holding a freshly picked bouquet of tuberose, gardenia, and maybe a hint of ylang ylang. There’s a soft sweetness that creeps in (possibly rhubarb), balancing the spiciness. After about an hour, the ginger softens and a vanilla becomes more noticeable, giving the scent a cozy, elegant finish. Longevity is strong. This scent feels very feminine, confident, and best suited for someone 30+. It’s versatile enough for all seasons, though its better in spring and summer.

Very unique milky and carnal scent, the carnal flower very distinctive, in my oppinion this is one of the best tuberouse scents

I ordered it as soon as I’ve seen that tuberose and sandalwood were listed as notes... I’ve only recently fell in love with those scent profiles and here they combine perfectly. I do think that each of them individually could overpower a composition - sometimes in a really lovely perfume I can only smell the sandalwood and no matter how gorgeous it does smell, it is not distinctive enough to buy a bottle. Similarly with tuberose, although to a lesser extent, as it’s usually mixed with other white flower notes and I’ve started to go past the initial tuberose overpowering wave and get to pick out some other floral notes. This, like I said, is a perfume where I can distinctly feel both sandalwood and tuberose notes, and it’s such a gentle tuberose - supported by creaminess of sandalwood that it firmly became one of my favourite scents!
