H&M Sparks Will Fly

when I first sniffed it from the bottle, it smelled a very sweet and bright sparkling soda. its a very sticky vanilla accompanied by a heavy floral scent. the projection is quite good. i can imagine that people passing by are trying to sniff what I am wearing. I love this scent that it can be layered with other simple notes.

I could have sworn there is vanilla in this, but nope, seems I am mistaken. Anyway this indeed falls in a similar category like black opium, even if it sure doesn't smell identical. The opening is a bit sharp to me, but within minutes it turns into creamy white floral goodness with just the right amount of sweetness for me. To me it's not a gourmand but clearly floral. Projection is ok enough, longevity on my dry skin in dry Mumbai winter (meaning 20-30 degree Celsius) clocks in at around 6 hours easily. Allover I find this a great through and through feminine white floral for pretty much any kind of climate. Also appreciate that H&M doesn't only offer it in full sized bottles, but also in a smaller trial size. Been carrying that one around in my purse the last weeks. Very practical.

normally I try to stay away from primarily citrusy scents but I like this one! it starts out somewhat sharp and it’s a similar sharpness to that of black opium, hence why I think people are so quick to compare the two, but other than that I don’t really think they’re alike. I think I would have liked this better if it was less sharp (and I have the same feeling when it comes to black opium) because whatever that sharpness is, my nose isn’t the biggest fan. the scent is nice enough though and I would say it’s a good, cheap alternative for a decent night out perfume that won’t actually smell cheap.

This is very nice. My scent warderobe has gotten way out of proportions and I am letting go of a lot of my early purchases and designer perfumes. (hate to say it, mostly because it makes this an extremely expensive hobby, but I have indeed become quite a perfume snob). I will keep and use my 10ml of this though. Glad I rediscovered it. The notes don't make much sense to me (I thought I smelled heliotrope?), but it's cute, I really like it! 👍

This has the vibes of Black Opium...but NOT a clone/dupe IMO....this has both Black Opium-ish and YSL Cinema both It is sweet. The juice in my bottle has gone darker....and actually "colored" my test strip....and...this has gotten "more potent" than when I first received it...??? The notes seem to be "in tact". Not anything special or remarkable...but not a "bad" scent.
