Coastline

All I get from this is lime, ocean air and bit of driftwood type note, simple but sooo good to my nose, rejuvenating type of fresh and only slightly masculine, doesn't last or project but it's so nice at first, especially since it's really hard to find lime-citrus scents that aren't bogged down with coconut or flowers, I often resort to just straight up lime peel essential oil layered on something simple and aquatic, will probably layer some onto this to help give it a little oomph

This is better than any Ulta or Sephora cologne. So perfectly fresh, masculine, salty, and woodsy all in one. This lasts just fine, honestly amazing for the price. One of the most underrated colognes out there, I absolutely adore when my boyfriend uses this. It smells better than his 120 dollar cologne.

If you watched the tv show 'The OC' in the 2000s and you're looking to smell like Ryan Atwood - this is your scent. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued, but I have it on good authority that Hollister simply renamed this as 'Ocean Break'.

It smells really good and woody and of sweet citrus. It reminds me of Montblanc Legend and A&F Fierce, but it doesn't project much and disappears fast. Good smell while it lasts though. Nice cheapie.

Agree with all the comments below. I bought a bottle thinking it is identical to Fierce, made for non-US markets. It is 90-95% the same. Coastline is fresher and with stronger mandarin note (slightly sweeter, fruitier). Fierce has more depth and more fir/pine/foresty note. Could be aging/maceration. My Fierce bottles are from 2008 and 2010. It is a good replacement. More similar to Fierce than Montblanc Legend for instance. Versatility, age, compliments are the same. Longevity and projection are also just as good as Fierce to me. Your nose sensitivity to the ingredients may vary.

Again, similar to how I feel about Jake. LOVE the smell, underwhelmed by the performance. I see the similarities in Fierce, which is another fragrance I love. Just wish this projected a bit more and lasted longer. I will probably have to spray my clothes in the future.

It smells like what would you imagine Malibu smells. It's refreshing, aquatic, oceanic and a bit woody in the base. It doesn't last for a long time but it's a very cool casual scent for spring and summer (or to remind you of the good days during winter).

Hangs very close to the skin so you definitely won’t be filling up the whole room when you walk in. A nice cheap fragrance that smells like the beach

This and H are the best of the samples I got from Hollister. I like them but they definitely don't last long.

Like others have said, this is similar to A&F’s Fierce. I actually think Coastline is a little nicer, though—without the strong pine note, it comes across as less intrusive. The sage in both Fierce and Coastline give them their distinction. I think without that, they’d smell like generic men’s scents.

Smells youthful and pleasant, however, a skin scent and extremely weak juice. Because of this I would score it a 5/10

Weaker version of A&F Fierce or Mont Blanc Legend.

This was one of my first colognes and honestly, it felt pretty unremarkable and you get very used to it and bored of it pretty quickly

Got this in a sample set with SoCal and Jake the other day. It smells exactly 100% identical to Fierce. It’s Fierce in a different bottle with much weaker longevity, around 2 hours before its undetectable. Jake, however, lasted surprisingly much longer, even with its reformulation. Sprayed at 7pm and it was clearly detectable the next morning. Much better scent for younger guys overall!

I love this. More marine than Fierce, it has a sweet citrusy twist in the fierce DNA. Does it smell expensive? No. But does it smell AWESOME? Yes! HS anyone tried the disc Flanker Coastal View? I really want to like it but there is some skunky vibe to it I can’t put my finger on...

Extremely similar to Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce. Wouldn’t be surprised if this was rejected batches of Fierce due to the fact a&f own hollister. Pleasent fresh smell but requires a good few sprays in order to be noticed

Just smelled this at the store. It's a slightly sweeter, fruitier version of A&F Fierce. Can't speak on the performance, but I wouldn't expect a lot from these recent formulations.
