Festival Nite For Her

Festival Nite is a love for me, and I think the perfect fruity, gourmandy vanilla that I was searching for. If you sniff the cap it almost smells like grape bubblegum or something equally concerning, but don't be alarmed. It doesn't smell like that when you're wearing it. Aside from the very initial top, the middle of this gives me such a similar feeling to Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Crush (the SDJ body spray, not so much the EDP) that I almost can't uncouple the two in my mind! They aren't dupes by any means; for example this fragrance doesn't have the saltiness that SDJ has. But alike nonetheless. Actually to be even more accurate, this smells a lot like Tree Hut's Tropic Glow line, which is essentially their budget interpretation of SDJ's fragrance (and is not dead-on to SDJ) Some fragrances are really linear and the first 5 minutes smells just like 5 hours later; this isn't one of those. I have an 'old' spray on one arm and a brand new spray on the other to compare. The bottle is perfect because this is totally a purple smell. The top is a really juicy sour berry not unlike Midnight Fantasy notes. Mouthwatering but doesn't stay that way, which isn't a bad thing because it gets even better after that. Over time the juicy fruits fall off and the vanilla marshmallow starts to dominate. Just enough florals to balance it but nothing sharp knocking you in the face. Youthful, but not at all veering into preteen screechy celeb fragrance. I love young frags and celeb frags, but I hate when they're so sharp they make your head hurt (e.g. Viva La Juicy, at least for me). This is so creamy and comforting. Good lord, what a bargain jackpot. 💕💜

Longevity: moderate-long lasting Projection: moderate-strong Price Value: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I paid 20$ on fragrancenet for a 50ml. Would definitely repurchase. Thoughts: One of my favourite blind buys of all time!! Seriously the creamiest and richest marshmallow in the world. Projection is moderate-strong. Starts out strong and then dries down a little closer to the skin- which I don’t mind because it could be a bit overpowering if it was extremely strong. Longevity is moderate-long: lasts about 6-7 hours on my skin. Seriously makes me so happy and comforted everyttime I smell it. Powdery but extremely silky and creamy marshmallow. The base notes are pretty much all I get from this: an overdose of creamy marshmallow, lots of warm and rich vanilla and some amber to give it a sexiness. I love this perfume and I feel like its seriously underrated. It reminds me of Ari by Ariana grande but way better performing and a much creamier marshmallow. This is absolutely gorgeous. Well blended. Extremely great value for the money. Bottle is ok- you have to twist the cap to reveal the sprayer which was interesting. Overall- I’m extremely impressed and would recommend this to anyone who loves marshmallow. Its not really a powdery marshmallow though-more creamy and silky. I want to say its more gourmand but its not a heavy gourmand. Its still light enough to be worn during the day and definitely not headache-inducing.

I agree with another reviewer that it pretty much smells about 95% similar to Tree Hut's Tropic Glow line but a little sweeter with the marshmallow and a bit fruitier due to the black currant note. So with that being said - it shares some similarities to Sol de Janeiro's Cheirosa 62 but without the caramel. Very amber, black currant, vanilla forward (can't say I detect much coconut.) Versatile as it can be worn all year round, day or night, concerts or a date. I can see guys really liking this on a woman as there is a hint of sexiness to it as well. Quite different for a Hollister fragrance if you're used to Hollister circa Y2K with the likes of Malaia. But it still ever-so-slightly carries that signature soft spicy scent in the background. Performance is actually pretty good - I'd say moderate to mildly long lasting. Crowd pleasing and a very safe blind buy. **UPDATE: 04/22/24** So this went from a "like" to a "love" for me. I'm not sure if it's my sense of smell that has changed or if it just had proper time to "macerate" but this smells incredible to me now. I can actually smell the creamy coconut in the drydown whereas it was pretty undetectable to me before. This fragrance is just the right amount of bright, fun, fruity, sexy and creamy whilst still being wearable in hot weather. Love, love, love it 💜

Hollister Festival Nite was a blind buy and big like at first sniff. I wouldn’t say it’s straight away love, because there is some kind of scratchy spicy note in it. I'm sure it's freesia. But the aroma itself is so well tailored that you get used to it literally right away. So if you don't mind a little spice in your cake, then this flavor is just the thing! Unobtrusive and light as long as you don't overspray. Tasty, but not edible (well, who wants to literally smell like food?) Quite long-lasting, lasts longer on clothes, doesn’t get boring, you can catch whiffs of the sillage throughout the entire time. Men like it very much (if you are interested in this) :) Personally, I don’t really associate it with a summer night party, for me it's Autumn, Winter, and I would rather wear it to a family Christmas dinner, on a date, and to sit by the fireplace with my sgnificant other. Cosy, warm, definitely not headache inducing, and quite addictive. Great effects, I would not even call it a cheapie so far (but the price is low, it is really a bargain). For such a price this is just a great purchase, I sincerely recommend it!

This is by far the best marshmallow fragrance I've managed to find so far ~ though I haven't got to test any of the more expensive marshmallow scents, like Killian's etc. But if you're after a powdery marshmallow note (not toasted) then put this to test! I've really come to *love* this scent. It's mainly blackcurrant and powdery marshmallow on my skin. Lasts several hours on me. Safe blind-buy? I'd say 'yes' because of the low price.. (Must like blackcurrant & marshmallow though) Backup bottle -worthy? Again, yes. (In fact I'm just about to order an extra bottle when it's still around) Of course it doesn't smell expensive but it'd be unfair to expect that from a +-$20 fragrance anyway... Always need to remember the price when judging 'fumes, right? But it's a good and FUN scent, an easy reach! And I'm 41 yrs old, so I'm not even Hollister's target group. lol BTW. Anna Sui's brand new 'Violet Vibe' perfume has blackcurrant (syrup) and marshmallow too ~ the nose behind it is Jérôme Epinette... It's not listed here but I saw on another perfume site that he's *also* the nose behind Festival Nite For Her!

Blind-bought it based on reviews and sparkly purple bottle with weird atomizer (yeah, that's the fun part of blind-buys - cute, unusual colorful bottles)) I liked the men's EDT version in blue bottle, so I thought since this one is EDP it must be stronger, more intense. Not really! To me it's not the strongest berry scent I tried. I love black currant note and never fail to notice it in most fragrances, but here it's a little too subdued for my taste. Marshmallow is also very much in the background. Maybe it's cold dry weather right now that doesn't let its berry juiciness shine. Upd: Tried it in summer. Still very very faint within an hour of application. Maybe I just go anosmic to it within an hour, since I see in other reviews people say it lasts moderately to long. The opening, however, is loud and syrupy-sweet, which I like. I don't regret buying this fragrance - fruity "silly" summertime beachy scent with a sea-gull on the bottle - what's not to like?

There's a strong blackcurrant in the beginning - very strong. It almost stings my nostrils when I smell it. I like the blackcurrant though! It's more a juice-type smell. In about an hour (or so) the blackcurrant has calmed down and you get the most pleasant dry-down of soft marshmallow. (Pretty much a skin scent at this point) This is what I'm living for! Overall, the longevity is about 4 hours on my skin. For the price point, this perfume is fine! And *especially* if you like blackcurrant and marshmallow notes. (I personally love the smell of blackcurrant and adore the smell of marshmallow!) How do I know it's a cheap perfume? Because it has that sharpness to it. If someone made a higher quality version of this perfume, using the exact same notes, just making it more 'refined' and 'round' in smell, it would probably become my signature scent! But for what it is right now, it's still an enjoyable fragrance! Can't really complain for the price point.

This was a WIN for ME!! (blind buy too) If you are thinking about purchasing it after reading reviews, JUST BUY IT!! Not only did I get a TON of compliments from my peers, but my man found it absolutely addicting on me. Showered First. Then sprayed (after unscented lotion) about 10 times all over body, 1 spritz in hair. Got dressed. Then did another 5 sprays all over clothes only. Went out with friends to dinner, bar afterwards, downtown to walk around, hit the club dancing and sweating, late night diner dive, then back home 7 hours later .... Upon by return home I still smelled sweet, exactly 💯% as I did when I first sprayed myself before going out. I was soooo impressed that I was instantly happy that purchased the BIG bottle. Pros: Beautiful Sweet Marshmallow Scent Complement Getter Long Lasting Good for Evening and Date Night Cons: Not a Fresh Scent Not for the Office Drydown Changes Scent to Vanilla-ish Coconut Note is Weak

I just found this one today and usually like to sit with a perfume for a while before I put words to how it makes me feel... But for now I just have to say this: ~This dry down smells like Cabbage Patch Preemie dolls and I am here for it!!! It is a creamy soft marshmallow, warm vanilla, powdered sweet resinous amber, with a hint of berries from the black currant in the under layer. The black currant does poke out a bit sharp every now and again and the beginning of the dry down has that typical “Yes, I am going to be another amber-vanilla scent” that seems so common these days... But that’s ok! This is creamier- warm and cozy- vanilla marshmallow- Preemie Cabbage Patch doll. A scent that “little kid me” is high-fiving me for. Lol! I love that! (Had to buy a back up bottle- found it for $14! What a deal!!) ~Now I’ll search for the Rose Petal Place & Strawberry Shortcake scents= because innocent nostalgia smells Oh so sweet!

Mmmm, I love this! Recent $20 blind buy at TJ Maxx and it's an absolute love. It's sweet delicious marshmallowy goodness with fruity playful flirty vibes. If you are in the market for something super sophisticated and unsweet then of course you won't like this, but if you are clicking on this fragrance and reading reviews chances are you enjoy those types of fragrances. This doesn't smell like anything else in my collection exactly, but I will say I prefer this to Ari because it's a bit stronger and more assertive--this would be like a nighttime version of Ari, but of course I wear it all day.

I still love this perfume. Such an easy reach. It doesn't smell like an expensive perfume because it's not. But it's great for what it is, and it actually has a good lasting power (at least on me). And it doesn't smell 'cheap' or anyhow 'juvenile'. Blackcurrant and marshmallow—if that's your vibe, then put this fragrance to test! Festival Nite For Her is relaxed, fun, uplifting and joyful. I always feel good when I spray it on me. Btw, I like to use it with the 'Berry Blast' hair perfume (by Pink Sugar) ~ good combination! I have nothing but good things to say about this scent.

I just blind bought this and I honestly really like this one. It reminds me of something that I can't put my finger on, but its sweet creamy vanilla with hints of black currant and slight florals. I don't really pick up the coconut but probably adds to the vanilla. I think this would be great for a younger audience but overall I'll still be wearing this one and most likely repurchasing because its a great cheapie. Longevity isn't the greatest but for the price I don't really mind.

Just bought this today at chemist warehouse and like other Hollister perfumes I really like this one, when you first spray it you definitely get the fruity blast first then it settles down to the coconut smell, it is a pleasant perfume to wear and even though it’s not what you would call a unique scent it is still a pleasure to wear and the fragrance gets better the longer you wear it so I recommend this if you are a fan of the notes of coconut or anything tropical.

Love this one, to some people it's harsh as I read the reviews, but I just love sweet perfumes and this one is it! It's not sweet lactonic, it's more sweet powdery. Definitely marshmallows and coconut are the main head, but there's also some hint of fruits. After hours the coconut is more intense to me, smells so comforting and after the scent "sits" I always get lot of compliments. If you don't want to blind buy it for full price, go for Vinted.

Quite a nice sillage, more of the notes come out on testercard. It smelled a bit on the cheapie side on skin initially I had to let this settlefor a few hours. Now it's great. There is a bit of a playdoh note, a little make up-y, cool, and the listed accords look about right. Vanilla, sweet, coconut, powdery, tonka.It's not edible, and I wonder because it's a cool feel, you could fruit-it-up with one of the other flankers

This was a blind buy based on reviews and it’s a goody! I don’t get the coconut at first but once it’s settled it’s there. The blackcurrant is amazing in this as is the marshmallow . I would say it’s a win win for gourmand lovers. Perhaps a little strong for the office but perfect for summer days out and about and great for warm evenings. Plus the bottle is lovely.

Sweet citrus, suntan lotion (coconut probably), and a powdery marshmallow. It's pretty, and my partner gifted this to me. He knows I love little cheapies like this that have notes I love. I'd say it's an easy reach for summer. Doesn't last long and sits close to the skin two hours in but it's still great to me.

Yummy! What an absolutely energizing and delicious fragrance. I get a huge blast of mandarin in the opening followed by black currant and something creamy. Marshmallow in the dry down. I just love this one. It doesn’t have great lasting power though, sadly. But for the price I don’t mind respraying.

Pretty nice scent and good value, cool, sweet ish, hazey , coconut, tropical, not a fruit bomb, powdery make up too. From memory it could be on par with the Abercrombie dark purple one just came out... a bit poudree ish and I can go with the milky powdery slant too

I love this. Listen - don’t judge a book by its cover. I don’t love the glitter on the bottle and if I’d not read the notes prior to buying, I’d never have picked this up. But the juice inside is gorgeous - a win for any gourmand lover.

i love love love this fragrance. maybe i’m weird for this but i personally love the smell of hotels, you know what i’m talking about, and this smells like that. plus lots and lots of pomegranate. it’s just so addicting to smell.

Smells awesome! I would say it's leaning towards being unisex rather than a lady fragrance. Works really good in the heat, not so much in cold weather.

I almost was not going to leave a review for this fragrance - simply because it's not something I would normally wear. But I will give this a fair review. I am a highly independant single woman by choice. I am almost 57 years old and work 2 jobs. The vast majority of my fragrances are expensive, high end ones. Yet, my personal #1 favorite signature scent is not (Liquid Cashmere Black). I tend to prefer patchouli based scents. Also, sandalwood, other woods, tonka bean, vanilla, and coconut. Flowery florals, powdery, soapy, and aquatic are not amongst my preference. I do like zesty, woody, neroli, some jasmine, some fruitiness, and some spice. But I was in the mood to buy something different. The top of it's bottle is unusual. There is no cap. You twist the top down to expose the sprayer. Upon first application, it reminded me of the scents that I smell as I walk past the Victoria Secret entrance (in the mall). I have never shopped in there, so I do not know if this matches any of their perfumes, or not. But this has a strong, extremely sweet, deep grape-like candy note for the beginning - which I oddly actually liked. It's somewhat on the cozy, warm, creamy fruitiness scale (which might be due to the blended vanilla note). Within an hour, the initial vibrant projection has settled and dried down to a mellow version. I can not detect any coconut at all.

Ok hear me out! The opening smells exactly like blackcurrant flavoured Airwaves gum!!! (cool cassis) and honestly I love it! I'm not sure where the freshness comes from but it doesn't stay on the skin for too long either, it quickly turns into this sweet vanilla/coconut mousse. The coconut doesn't front (what a shame) and this one doesn't give me the tropical vibes either. This coconut is soooomewhere in the background, only adds a milky layer to accompany the vanilla that in my opinion is the most prominent note in this fragrance for the most part. As someone with a form of synaesthesia I agree that this is a very purple kind of smell!! I'm fan of girly, infantile fruity/fresh & "shampoo" smells (you can judge me lol) and this one I didn't find too heavy/too powdery which indicates this is not an overwhelming scent. Does it smell like Ari by Ariana Grande? No, it doesn't. I've been using Ari since 2018 and this just doesn't smell similar despite the marshmallows, HOWEVER I can totally see this smell in Ariana Grande line, it has that sweet yet elegant vibe about it. Is it a summer smell? I don't think so, personally. It was a blind buy for me. Do I regret it? Not at all. It's a pleasant smell and I would recommend trying it out, especially with such a low price tag!

Sweet, warm and slightly powdery. I bought this as an early Christmas gift for a family member (yes, I know it's July, and I know I'm crazy!) and I couldn't resist a sniff. This to me is a fluffy vanilla blackcurrant scent, reminds me a little of Cheriosa 40 and Ari's Moonlight combined. Warm-toned vanilla, powdery marshmellow and plump purple fruits. I get the slightest touch of coconut, but it's more like toasted coconut shavings. Reminds me a little of a fresh vanilla cupcake with fruity frosting and coconut shavings on top. Mmmm. Is this a must-have in my collection? No. However, I like this. There's nothing offensive about Festival Nights at all, and would be safe for work, errands, offices and indeed, festival nights. I might even purchase a bottle of this for myself in the future as it's very feminine and easy to wear and the glittery purple bottle is pretty cute.

bought this at a discount store after seeing it touted on tiktok as a good marshmallow scent. they weren't wrong! like @bubbles151416 said below me, this is like the nighttime version of AG Ari (and I think I like this one more). the coconut is really strong in the opening, but it's not a sunscreen-y coconut, just creamy and a little nutty. the apple blossom is most prominent to my nose after that, and then the marshmallow & vanilla take over the dry down. something with all the notes mixing together smells like bubblegum/candy which I'm not too fond of, but it's tolerable. definitely not a beast-mode performer, but it lasts for about 6 hours on my skin with intimate projection. if you're looking for something stronger, overspraying is reasonable since it's so cheap. great for everyday but could also work for a casual night out. honestly for the price it's a steal!

Its name and the colors put me in a festive beachy mood, just by looking at it. Seems perfect for late summer. :) Admittedly one of the reasons I bought this without testing. And it did not disappoint. Fun scent. This is completely dominated by black currant for the first hour, also oranges. This fruitiness mixes nicely with a strong Vanilla, and there is some coconut, some marshmallow hiding underneath it, which makes it a very yummy powdery vanilla 🥥. This base grows stronger over time. Normally I don't mind the packaging details so much, but I am a little fascinated by the bottle, really smart and comfortable way to release/hide the pump by pushing the cap down - and the velvety soft plastic haptic of the bottom part is kind of addictive to touch. Good job. :)

I agree with the review below mine, it does start out grape-y black currant. I'm hoping I get as much longevity and silage as that reviewer too. It was definitely love at first sniff for me, and it was a blind buy off Mercari. You just never know with blind buys, but this one is a winner. I'd wear this year round, but I'm going to wear it this summer for sure. I tend to love coconut in perfume, so hoping as it dries down I get more coconut. It sort of reminds me of Selena Gomez's perfume in the purple lips bottle. I'm glad this is a 3.4 oz. bottle, it's that good. Also, the bottle is super cute. I love how the sprayer/nozzle twists up to close and down to spray. I wonder if Hollister had more in this line, because this one is that good.....

I kept seeing positive reviews of this fragrance. I saw it at Beall’s, and I kept checking back until it went on clearance ($12.74) 😊 This perfume opens with a mix of juicy orange and black currant. One thing I really appreciate is that the fruity scent lasts for 1-2 hours before the base notes shine through. To me, the base is a vanilla-amber, with the marshmallow adding a light fluffiness, but there is still some depth in the dry down. This was a happy blind buy for me, and I think this is a great summer daytime perfume. Note- I’ve been layering this with Moonlight by AG body mist, and they are a good match with some similar notes!

This is a sweet, beachy summertime fragrance. There's a sharp note that I smell in the opening, maybe it's the black currant and freesia, but it's been 2 hours and it has toned down an now it's a fruity creamy scent. I do detect coconut but not in a Dolce Garden way. It's more of a fruity beachy drink type of way. Like a juice. I don't smell the marshmallow but maybe it's the marshmallow that gives it that sweet smell. I over-sprayed this and it's still not projecting too loud but I do have a beautiful scent bubble around me. I plan to wear this more this summer. It's an easy grab and go for the daytime and even work safe as well.

This is a pleasant fragrance, primarily fruity and sweet but not overly vanillic or marshmallow-y. Yes, I do believe anyone regardless of age or gender can wear whatever fragrance they want. With that being said, this is the type of fragrance that would easily appeal to a younger crowd in a similar way that fragrances from Britney Spears or the Aquolina Pink Sugar line would also lean typically towards a more youthful crowd. This is also in the same price range of those scents so very affordable. Overall, bright, fruity, girly to my nose.

Heavy notes of coconut, vanilla and black currant. I love it! The bottle is cute and convenient. I love the way this is blended. I got mine at Ross for $18. I know the votes say this is great for summer but I think this is a bit too dark and fruity/sweet for a very hot summer. I’ve been using this in the winter with warm sweaters and it sticks to my clothes for days! It’s sweet, girly and gets the job done. I really love the notes and how they’re all blended together nicely. I think this works for a cold night as well. Love it!

I like this fragrance and I like the unique atomizer! My nose is picking up on many of the notes listed above, especially the black currant. Festival Nite is very fruity, but non-gourmand...with a touch of sweetness. It has great longevity and wonderful projection. This fragrance is a nice addition to my collection. I decided to layer Festival Nite with Body Fantasies White Musk. Doing so brought a slight creaminess, musky, clean-feel... It screams: I'm feminine, I'm classy, but adventurous! Sagittarius Vibes...

This is very like-able! It starts out with a prominent grape-y black currant wave that lasts for about an hour. After that, it morphs into a more coconut and marshmallow dominate fragrance. At the end of the day (~8 hours in), it becomes a more soft yet deep musky coconut. The silage is good, and the lasting power is fantastic (10+ hours on my skin). I’d say it appropriate year round, but would likely shine in the warmer months due to the coconut note.

Found this gem recently at Marshalls. I was surprised by how much I liked it. Great for a cheapie. It's sweet, floral and fruity. Youthful, sugary and gourmand but not cloying. It smells somewhat like drier sheets with a touch of sweetness. Effortless, inexpensive, great everyday scent. I gifted it to my teenage niece.

Smells like how selfies from Coachella look. And I’m here for it. Summer, nighttime, grape bubblegum, doing the shuffle on the grass in the back of the open-air venue as your favorite band plays. Is Brad looking at you? He might be. He is. SHUFFLE HARDER! If that’s your thing, go for it. ✌🏼

This smells really good...just a simple,coconut sweet fruity scent that is super inexpensive. Smells a lot like some other WAAAY more expensive fragrances ( Alien Goddess, Ariana Grande) for a lot less $$$. I would buy a full size of this to keep on hand for days I want to feel coconutty.

actually really like this! i mostly get an ambery vanilla but i get a little black currant too. i kind of get a mix of cloud by ariana grande and cherosia 62 by sol de janerio (?) with a little more fruit

This is really girly. Its fruity, I really get the apple blossom in the beginning. Settles down to a subtle sweet scent. Nothing extraordinary but its so cheap I think its great for the price

Starts off with a blast of black current, which smells amazing, but dies down to a generic Vanilla. Nothing new here.

Smells like Sunset Glow by Bath and Bodyworks.

Mystery buy. I'm forever in search of coconuts that don't just end up as vanilla. I'm ok if there is vanilla, but I need more. Sometimes, vanilla is just what coconut needs to make it special. Vintage Vanilla Fields was a good example of this. I'm also good when there is no vanilla, but I digress. This one is very heavy on vanilla but what stands out for me is marshmallow. Marshmallows are of course mostly vanilla but they capture that slightly cooked then cooled sugar note here very well.There is no coconut that I can detect after about 15 minutes. The floral and amber are there but very much in the background. If you like all of that, this one is for you. I can hardly complain about the price, marked down at TJ Maxx. Nice bottle just as a matter of design, I like the twist to pop-up sprayer.

This reminds me so much of sunset glow by B&BW. The opening to to me is the best part. I like the tartness of the orange and currants . It makes it very refreshing. There's a floral in here I'm not too fond of however. Maybe the freesia or apple blossom. I think that part makes it smell like a generic over the counter body spray, which to me is unappealing. I do smell a husk-like dry coconut in the dry down. Not a sweet dessert type coconut. I guess this will be ok to wear in the fall/winter. I'm thinking it would be too cloying in the summer. It's just ok to me. I'll get through this bottle and this won't be a repurchase.

I was influenced by Reddit to pick this up at Marshall's. It smells pretty and youthful and I understand why people like it. I really like the scent on initial spray, but unfortunately it drys down to sort of warm, dirty smell on my skin. I'm going to keep trying it and see if it changes or grows on me, but for now it's a no from me dawg. I don't think it smells like Ari at all. Maybe similar to Amor Amor, but creamier.

This one is sickening. I'm a sweet perfumes lover, but this one, I can't stand it. There is a sweet and dry artificial smell since the beginning (not the Coconut or Mandarin, maybe the Pink Freesia since it is a spicy scent) that keeps noticeable and makes it very uncomfortable.
