Festival Party Pour Lui

Interesting summer woody aquatic. Because of the red bottle, I was expecting something sweet. However, this opens spicy and peppery with a touch of nuanced mango that is not sweet. Think "Hint" mango flavored water - the flavor is there but not the sweetness. Wears well in scorching summer heat. My guess is the backbone of the scent is iso-e super because I keep getting whiffs of fragrance even when it is not that strong on my skin. If you like Versace Man Eau Fraiche or D&G Light Blue, this is probably up your alley.

Bought this on a whim for $14.99 at Tj Maxx sprayed it and immediately got the Invictus Aqua DNA.; same notes of top citruses (Hollister replacing Yuzu & grapefruit with lemon & mango but I smell no difference) both have the same notes of sea notes, pepper, Amber, Guaiac wood. It's essentially a Invictus Aqua clone with no violet mid nor Ambroxan base that I can tell from the note listing. Since I never smelled Invictus Aqua 2018 all I can say is this is very reminiscent of the original 2016 but with less than a punch- nothing can compete with the beastly 2016 juice. Was going to return it as it seemed redundant to own if I owned IA 2016 but passed the 30 day mark. Not upset I still own it, great to use when I want to salvage the original grail juice. Great cheapie release! 7.5/10

A nice little addition to the Hollister Festival Family. I have the Festival Vibes and Festival Nite and enjoy both of them so I actually blind bought this when I saw it at my local chemist. I’m happy with it, it is much the same as the other 2 fragrances, but maybe a touch creamier and a little more mature and refined, as much as a scent from Hollister can be mature and refined, as they are known for being a much younger and free and frivolous. I will say this though, the longevity and projection of this one isn’t as good as the first 2. After about 30 minutes I can only smell it on myself and it’s leaving zero trail whatsoever. For something this cheap though, I understand that. All in all, not a bad little fragrance. 7/10. Thank you for reading and hope you have a lovely day.

This is an enjoyable one for what it is. Perfect for the younger crowd, or maybe during a workout on a hot day. There’s not much to say about it, but I can’t help but notice how nicely Mango and Black Pepper compliment each other in this one, and it’s a surprise to me that that combination is not used more often. It fades quickly unfortunately, leaving a pleasant albeit synthetic fruity smell. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend, but if you enjoy cheap, youthful fragrances and need a dumb reach for the gym, this could be the gem for you. 6.9/10

Saw a 1.7oz for $15 and snagged it. Haven’t purchased a Hollister cologne since pre-iPhone days and figured I’d see what they’ve been up to. It’s not bad. Fans of woodsy-aquatics will like this one. It’s fruity off the top before settling down to an aquatic and amber base. It’s a mall scent targeted at a younger crowd- which is reflected in the price, quality, and smell. Great for teenagers, otherwise viable as a gym bag/glove box cologne.

Kinda generic scent. It doesn't smell bad. It's pleasant. I would decribe it as fresh, clean, soapy...generic. It's a light scent, more of a summer scent. Meh
