Free Wave For Her

This is a good clean fragrance for smelling like I've just come out of the shower (except, I use fragrance free bodyshampoo) unlike the original Wave, Free Wave could become a repurchase. It's not very fruity on me, more soft flowers. But there is a soft citrusy note, not sharp on me. I get that the longevity is typical for this type of fragrance, it's generic and just perfectly pleasant, but for the price and how easy it'll be to pack for vacations, it's worth it to me. I wish I'd had this when we were in Baden-Württemberg and Bayern, and on Crete. The scent would've suited both places. It lasts 3 hours on my skin and much longer on my clothes. 3 hrs. is good for the price.

I got this for $19 at Ross as a blind buy. This is a nice and pleasant smelling sweety citrus fruity type of fragrance. Perfect for casual wear or when you just want to smell good at home. The problem with this is that compared to my other collection, I have the tendency to overlook it because I seem to enjoy using my other fragrances more than this. There is nothing wrong with this scent except that it doesn’t really stand out in my collection. I’m still glad I got this because the notes are right up my alley and will try to use it more this summer.

Can we talk about how beautiful this perfume actually is? Like... why is nobody mentioning her? It opens with this juicy splash of blackberry and mandarin orange, kissed with a drizzle of agave nectar just sun-warmed and alive. it has a soft, watery floral heart, apple blossom, orchid, water lily, that smells like walking barefoot along the shoreline in a white dress that keeps catching the breeze. This perfume is absolutely a love letter to blackberries.

I received this in a trade & I’m so glad I did. Upon first spraying it smelled of pure alcohol and a generic perfumey scent but once it hits my skin it’s a very pretty, clean scent! Layers well with my OGX Argan oil body wash & lotion in the blue bottles. The patch is barely noticeable and blends well with the other base notes. I will be wearing this a lot this spring Doesn’t smell like Britney’s Circus Fantasy at all to me

Something about this is just so amazing. It’s my favorite affordable fragrance and I’ve bought 3 bottles already. I get sooo many compliments when I wear this it’s my most complimented fragrance. U can wear this year round for sure. I’ve had coworkers demand what I was wearing! It’s sweet, yet clean, yet musky and fruity. It lasts for days on clothing. If I could bathe in it I would.

I took a chance at TJ and got this and wow! It is very much a perfect every day scent! Your favorite t-shirt, blue jeans type of scent. It isn't too sweet or complicated just clean but dialed down somehow. I just love it!!!!

I love this fragrance! So bright, fresh and green. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I really get a sweet green tea scent from this, even though there is no green tea note lol

When I put on this perfume, I can imagine beach on a summer evening. I love use this every summer!

This is a beautiful fresh fragrance of Hollister. I wear it during the day.

There's something about this that smells like a clean but sweaty armpit lol. Imagine you've just come out of the shower on a crazily hot day, you apply a sweet blackberry and waterlily deodrant that's aluminum-free and not that effective, so you start sweating almost immediately, but you're freshly showered so the sweat doesn't smell bad, it just smells a bit salty and has that soft clean human body smell.... you know what I mean? I really like this, but I'm too concerned that people will think I'm sweaty to wear it in any kind of serious setting. It's great for around the house, when I have friends over, to the grocery store, etc. It's cute and I really enjoy it, despite the fresh-clean-sweaty armpit vibes lol For anyone curious, it smells nothing like the original Wave (which i prefer)- the original is much fresher and more unique, and has no similar notes, to my nose at least.

A++++ Layers very well with classic chypre bomb perfumes like Weil de Weil or Weil Antilope, or the green green Vent Vert by Balmain. Ambroxan is in high concentration in this loundry detergent scented perfume. Test it and see it for yourself. Modern chypre perfumes are without real anchors, and older chypres are a little bit bitter for the noses trained on sickly sweet perfumes like Prada Candy. This is a good solution to make any so called old lady chypre more modern and comformist. We parfumistas do not want the noses around us to turn the wrong way most of the time.

I've had this perfume for three years and I really enjoy it! It has nice floral scent, a bit sweet and feels ''young''. I think it's most suited for summer and spring, but works well in autumn as well! Very much a day scent. Can't say that I can smell any of the fruitier notes, but the florals are beautiful. Also smells clean an a bit schampooish. A nice scent! Its longetivity is good! I can smell this on my clothes several days after use and if I use it in the morning, I can smell it on my skin in the evening.

I was really impressed with enormous sillage and even better longevity for such a cheap perfume. Like...wow And even the scent is very nice girly-like fresh fruity sweet scent. Not particulary my style but I wouldn't be disappointed if getting it as a gift at all :) nice one! Safe gift for a teen girl i guess :)

TJ Maxx buy, $14.99. Crisp yet sweet blackberry on a modern chypre base. Light and fresh, super easy to wear. Longevity is moderate, sillage is light. I am a patchouli girl and tbh I don't get much here. Enjoying wearing it with Blackberry & Basil from BBW (credit April O Fragrance on IG). Try it!

This is sweet, bright, and tart, perfect for summer.

God I absolutely love this bottle, it's so much more beautiful in person. And heavy/well-constructed. I generally don't care much about packaging and this one surprised me when I unboxed it. This is a great value for a clean, interesting shower scent. It holds well with a light spray in my experience. It starts out very zesty and zingy, and becomes more "Hollister store" unisex as it develops. I personally feel this smells quite expensive as freshies go, rather than smelling like a typical citrus body mist from the drugstore. I think if I'm honest with myself, I will hardly ever reach for this as I am a gourmand lover at heart, but I respect it and it almost hurts me a little to resell it. If it weren't for the strong presence of patchouli after it dries down, I would probably keep it. And to be clear I think the patch fits very well here; I just have never liked it. Reminds me very strongly of the white tea Solinotes fragrance (The Blanc), at least in the top/mid. UPDATE: I've had this listed but not sold yet, and something possessed me to pull it out again today. I immediately de-listed it. This is SO nice! It's not like anything else in my collection and it definitely serves the purpose. It's so clean and pretty without being overtly 'girly'. A neutral scent in the best way. The reviewer who described it as the ideal jeans and t-shirt fragrance was spot on. I also change my mind that the patch is strong; it blends well into everything else. This is just so lovely, it's one of those where I keep going back to my wrist to sniff. My gut told me initially that I'd be sad to sell it and I'm glad I didn't.

I get green, fresh cut grass & berries at first. It dies down almost immediately though. Had to spray 3 times, because I couldn’t find the spot where I sprayed it after only 5 minutes. With ”overspraying” it dried down to a freshly cut lemon. A real lemon. Nothing artificial. I’ve been looking for a good candied lemon scent for a long time, so I might try layering this with something sweet & sugary.

Smells rather cheap. Starts sweet and girly, a bit too sweet for me, but would be fine for a happy young girl. After some time, it turns fresh and fruity on clothes. The aquatic water lily is pleasant. On my skin, it turns into a nightmare after an hour. You know that smell from very cheap Summer citrus fragrances that turned bad, acrid like rotten lime zest ? It was exactly that. I won't try again.

I think patchouli doesn't mix well with my body chemistry which makes me very hesitant to buy anything with it. This perfume smelled like cat pee to me. I had to give it away.

At first, I was not too fond of it but after a while, I got accustomed to the aroma and liked it. It makes me feel like I am 16 years old. This is not necessarily good. :D

TikTok lied to me. People on there were raving about this. For what?! It left no impression on me; I returned it back to Ross as soon as I could.

Yeah it smells nice, moderete sillage and longevity. Smells like a synthetic fruity shampoo

It’s not a LOVE like the original Wave, that’s one of my favs. But I do like this. I mostly get the orange, agave, moss & (unfortunately) patchouli. I’m really not a patchouli fan, but there are a few scents I can tolerate. It works pretty well in this one. I definitely get some florals (I smell rose, but it’s not in notes) but the opening is very citrus candy (orange/agave) & I dig it. It’s unique! I don’t think this is for everyone, but I think many will appreciate it. Especially if you like candy, florals and patchouli. This really is not as offensive as it sounds. It like blends well and I’d say it’s still office safe, but maybe not gift safe. I’ve actually found uniqueness in all of the Wave line so far. They are very creative and I’m excited to try more. I want to try Wave 2 & Wave X next. I just love the original so much through! That’s a must have in anyone’s collection. You literally can’t hate it and it’s very versatile. PS: some say this has no longevity. It does dry down very simple, but never disappears on clothes. I still smell it on my bed shirt 2 days later. It dries down like a light citrus w/ a-little floral, moss, patchouli. It’s actually a lovely light dry down, so love love that about it. It’s a joy to sleep with this scent all around.

Interesting... At first I would say its a girly, MOSCHINO-like smell, however the drydown is tricky. It has something smokey/ masculine, almost niche perfume-like features. I feel the same in connection with Ariana Grande Cloud and also the new Burberry her

This is a fresh sweet floral. It’s young and a bit shampooish. It’s nothing groundbreaking but it’s pleasant. A good daily scent and a safe blind buy. Something to wear with a pink floral dress :)

Quite nice notes, but very week and watery. No longevity or sillage. I bought it at 15 euros, which is too much.

Had a sample. Didn't make an impression on me, scent like many others.
