Hollister Wave X For Man

Definitely at least inspired by Polo Deep Blue, which is one of my favorites. It’s got that woody, green, sweet freshness that I love about Deep Blue, but just a little less depth. Still, I would say it’s totally worth it if you find it at a rack store or for a good price online. I’ve only had a chance to sample it, so I can’t say much about the longevity or sillage, but it seems to project fairly well from what I can tell. Overall, totally worth it if you come across it for the right price.

First impression: this is a good one, right off the bat. Unfortunately, it took a lot of sprays to the scent level where I want. I would definitely prefer something more concentrated, but it is what it is. Anyway, I get a nice clean (little bit soapy) fresh aquatic vibe. Along with some very well blended ozonic/musky/citrus (minerality). I feel like this will be a much easier reach than others that are 3x-5x the cost. It might be a bit sweet for some, but it is so well balanced that the sweet does not bother me like it usually would.

At the top I get a little fruit and a bit of herbal sage. Within a few minutes, a strong salty vibe kicks in. On the dry down, it stays salty with a little bit of lavender. Can't say it is a dupe of anything, though it has a salty ambergris dominance that reminds me of Bvlgari Aqva Atlantiqve. While this isn't "beast mode", for the price I feel like it is a good value. This is an underrated brand because most offerings are at least unique, if a bit synthetic and short lived.

This was one of my best cheapie pick ups for sure. Very versatile, easy to wear and is very much in line with all of the Polo blue/deep blue/parfum comparisons. Not sure who compared it to Acqua Di Gio but that couldn't be more wrong. The grapefruit, bergamot, watermelon opening is very nice and fresh with a beautiful drydown. If you like those types of DNA then this is a great blind buy option and I would recommend to anyone wanting a great versatile cheapie.

This is a summer vibe fresh, so fresh soooo fresh. Polo blue/Deep blue and CK Eternity Aqua in one mix, super cheap super good, recommend it for everyone and it is easy blind buy no matter how difficult your taste in colognes. I wish the musk is more prominent it will boost the performance because this is 2-3 hours max.

Polo blue with a heavy green galbanum/dynascone/allyl amyl glycolate scent. So basically cypress, lavender (dihydromyrcenol), clary sage (linalool), ambroxan, and calone giving it that marineness are what you're smelling along with that galbanum note and the faint typical soapy blue from damascone alpha. Almost a teal rather than blue. For the price, its ok. I really only use it for out the shower tbh though

reminds me of gucci guilty pour homme. Doesn't last very long. It also smells very similar to ck one free. overall its ok for the price as I think I picked it up for around $10.

Opening is horrible, but the dry down is the better part. After initial spray it dries down to a masculine salty polo and less fruitier. Ok, but not a must have or mind blowing. Just a simple summer time beach fragrance.
