Another Good Surprise! My second Blind Buy and this is better than I was expecting. Black is very fresh, clean, spicy, young, a little dark, smoky and creamy. It starts a little generic: citrus, green, Iced and spicy. Something at the open is very sintetic and I don't know what note is. After 10 min, Black shows a very nice fragrance! It becomes more fruity, spicy, floral, natural and a nice and soft incense. and goes this way until the end. Kenneth Cole Black is very similar to Bleu de Chanel. but Black is better! Black has a good longevity but the sillage sucks! Minha segunda Compra Cega e esse foi melhor do que eu estava esperando. Black é muito fresco, límpio, especiado, jovem e um pouco sombrio, incensado e cremoso. Ele começa um pouco genérico: cítrico, verde, gelado e picante. Algo na abertura é muito sintético e eu ainda não descobri qual nota. Após 10 min, Black mostra uma fragrância muito boa! Ele se torna mais frutado, especiado, floral, natural e um ótimo e suave incenso. e fica assim até o fim. Kenneth Cole Black is muito parecido com o Bleu de Chanel. mas Black é bem melhor! Black tem uma fixação muito boa mas a projeção é horrível!

A timeless classic... It has been several months since I last wore Kenneth Cole’s Black cologne, but was reminded this morning of the pleasantry and beauty of this fragrance. Definitely underrated and given the modesty in price, comes with a solid recommendation to add to anyone’s collection. Out of the bottle, the opening of citrus and green notes are easy on the nose that develops into an elegant blend of fresh, spicy, floral and musk notes which make Black easily wearable during any season and for most events. The only downside to this fragrance is in performance – I found that Black lasts on me between 4-6 hours, longer on clothing, at arm’s length or closer, but add this may work out well for an office safe fragrance, though. To reiterate, the price for such a pleasant fragrance is unbeatable and Black would be a great fragrance for those starting to amass a good collection. The final tally for Kenneth Cole’s Black is 4.0 stars out of 5. If the performance/sillage were greater, we are talking about a serious competitor in the fragrance market. Regardless, Black is a safe blind buy and you will like this fragrance. Enjoy your day and happy fragrance hunting...

I agree, this is in the same realm as Bleu De Chanel for me, but it's mandarin heavy on the top and earthy on the bottom. The incense and ginger notes do a great job of tying it all together, much like they do in Bleu De Chanel. (This scent was released first, however - 2003 vs 2010 - so take that as you will.) It's decently long lasting, projects well, smells clean (but not too clean), and it's enjoyable to the masses. I like this much more than the Vintage Black variation, which I had and sold. Vintage has a metallic-mojito Abercrombie Fierce vibe to it. The original Black is definitely the better of the two, in my opinion. Overall, Kenneth Cole Black is a great scent. I don't see it being most people's favorite, but I can't imagine too many people disliking it. It's a good value for the money, and a good alternative to Bleu De Chanel (although their scents are nothing alike). Definitely worth a try! Also: This lasts EXTREMELY well for me. Three sprays today is still going strong afer 9 hours.

I own a significant amount of fragrances, admittedly to many, I bought this from a local store as a holiday gift set, and I must say that this may be my favorite dumb reach I’ve ever bought. It’s fresh, it’s green, it’s slightly soapy, and on my skin the longevity for this cheapie is impressive and it doesn’t smell cheap, and will smell better than most guys around you that aren’t wearing anything. For the age of this release the smell is modern, and it keeps me smelling my hand to get a closer sniff. The ginger, the mint and the touch of orange sweetness gives this such a brilliant opening, who cares if it’s synthetic, it’s supposed to be it’s 20 bucks, but the smell is perfect for the price and that’s all that matters. Blind by safe obviously give it a go you won’t be disappointed if you are looking for a fresh, soapy, slight woody, easy wear, easy reach

Even if this fragrance after a superficially listen can be easily classified under a classic, easy to wear, or "like hundreds of that kind": this is not. K.C. Black is Special. A rare perfect balance of fighting notes that settles in a magic dark luminescent composition. As many people says probably Black is not the appropriate name: ASPHALT could be. Compressed by zesty and astringent notes of hesperides, ginger and others freshness, I can feel sentors of rubber, asphalt, coffe, garbage, coal, dark sugar, and all those contrasts that make this fragrance marvellously dirty and clean and almost gourmand.. something you want bite. I say this fragrance is a perfect ideal summer between the arms of a naked man. Definitely a Masterpiece.
