Centerfold

I have never blind bought a fragrance before this one, and I couldn't be more delighted with taking this risk. On initial spray you feel slightly overwhelmed, like you snuck one of your parents boozy chocolate covered cherries and it's too much at first, but then the more you chew (sniff) you start to feel grown enough to handle it. The sexy milk chocolate starts to mellow, and you ride the waxy cherry chapstick vibe for awhile before drying down into something so balanced and mature you forget you're only 17. This one, similar to Banane Au Chocolat by Teddy the Perfumer, has even helped me come around to patchouli. It's an elegant and smooth patchouli, and perfectly rounds out the sweetness of the dessert style opening. Sprayed around 7pm and could still smell it the next morning, but without being cloying or oppressive. Can we get it in 100ml?

I received a sample of this today from small aromas and I could cry. I don’t know why it’s making me emotional? In a good way? It doesn’t smell how I expected it to in the best way possible. For me i am picking up most heavily on the nutty and boozy notes, but the freshness from the cherry really brightens and lifts everything. It smells so nostalgic yet I don’t get anything juvenile from it personally. It is so sexy and unique to me, it feels mature but still playful. Only way I feel I could describe it is it smells like womanhood. I actually really wish I just blind bought a bottle now instead of being careful !! I cant wait till they restock this beautiful scent.

Centerfold smells exactly like its title. It’s the fantasy of being a Playboy centerfold back in the day. Soft focus lighting, satin sheets, almond liqueur in a crystal glass. There’s a decadence here that feels flirtatious but private, like being adored from afar. It opens with a gorgeous, syrupy amaretto — sweet but not juvenile — and melts into something plush and chocolatey. Then, slowly, the woods creep in, grounding it all in a soft, sensual haze. It’s warm, nostalgic, and dreamy. Centerfold is for people who want their scent to invite attention (in a good way). Vintage without being dusty/sweet without being saccharine. Absolutely gorgeous!

Sexy enough to be printed and worshipped in a glossy magazine? That's the Centerfold effect: you feel like an it-girl. Photorealistic dark chocolate meets sticky-sweet maraschino cherry that stays grounded and wearable with earthy patchouli, musk, and warm nuts. Just yum.

I love Centerfold so much, it's too dreamy. I sprayed this morning and am still enjoying her into the late afternoon. She starts off with a delicious cherry-chocolate-patchouli haze and dries down to the most beautiful, powdery cocoa musk I've ever smelled. A gorgeous alchemy.

This smells IDENTICAL to the cherry cordials from the grocery store! Honestly I really like this, but it would be for a nighttime special occasion moment for me :)

The best most beautiful dry down of any fragrance I’ve ever experienced. So so so so SO GOOD! Cherry musk heaven.

Tommy said he wants to take you dancing tonight, you told him you know how to tie a cherry stem with your tongue. Amaretto spills over the center of a high gloss magazine. A half eaten chocolate covered strawberry lays nearby as you pull your hot pink spandex over your thighs. Another canister of hairspray emptied and you feel alive. The night is young. You're at a Christmas party wearing Mon Guerlain. There's a booze cart and a dessert table with a big chocolate yule log. Somebody kissed you and you can still feel their chapstick. You smell coats and purses that have been in in storage all winter. Kind of tacky and fancy at the same time. Good sillage and longevity, and surprisingly, not headache inducing. It's good, I think?

I like that this smells tacky. It's camp. It smells like waxy chocolate covered fresh cherries. For me, it's just a little too unsweetened. I wish it crossed over the edge to more of a maraschino cherry than a fresh one. But it's a really beautiful and unique scent!

A cherry lip smackers chapstick... not until the dry down was it tolerable. Extremely sticky sweet opening. Synthetically sweet from beginning to end. Chocolate covered gummy bear.

I like it. It’s a good, classic chocolate patchouli. The chocolate is strong in the beginning, but for the the dry down is a basic (but solid and generally appealing) patchouli.

I ordered a sample of this from Lucky Scent, and I was so excited to try it.. what a let down. I’m not getting that chocolate cherry note that others are getting. I’m actually getting a cheese note on my skin! By body chemistry hates this scent unfortunately

@toni099 I also got a CHEESE smell. So did my husband. He said it smelled of cheese and strawberries. This was on a paper strip, not on skin. The notes sounded nice but all together it doesn't work for me personally.

Cant tell if I love or hate this but if you want to smell like those mini chocolate liquor bottles then this is the closest you'll get/ (Alcoholic aunts who only smoke camel crushes this one is for you)

I was expecting this to be an instant love, but it’s a definite no for me! The reviews made this out to be better than it is.... As a lover of gourmands and especially cherry fragrances, this isn’t a cherry fragrance at all. I get zero cherry. It would be a stretch to call this a gourmand either. In the opening spray I get a plastic chocolate scent. The amaretto then appears and this part is nice, but very short lived. The dry down to me is patchouli, cheap chocolate and a hint of strawberry lipstick. Very synthetic smelling. As a 80’s kid I don’t find this nostalgic what so ever, and I’m sorry to say this is overpriced for what it is. I’m so relieved I didn’t blind buy this one.
