Hi Louisiana! Thanks for the update and warning about scent matchers! I'm sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience! I still see vintage Ciao on Ebay available. It is such an unknown, older fragrance that I'm sure the ones available are legitimate. I have purchased a bottle of Ciao on ebay and it smells the same as my vintage bottle kept from years ago. I'm not sure if the top notes have faded as I can't remember exactly how it smelled when first sprayed back then. I know the dry down is the same as I remember. I'd love to hear your recollection of the scent. I don't remember it smelling fruity at all, but it has been many years. My vintage bottle smells rich, woody, and green. The dry down is very slightly powdery, with a deep rich, sweetness that is not from sugar like modern perfumes. It's hard to describe. Very beautiful though!

This is one of my all time favorites. I still have vintage bottles and still love it. It smells so rich and beautiful! Does anyone else remember this beauty? I'd love to read a review from someone that remembers it!

I have the vintage edp. Such a divine smell. Rich, powdery and woody. Last a long time. If you can find it, buy it.

Please don't order from Scentmatchers, isn't a legitimate company, they just send you a bottle with a substance that smells like a bad bathroom deodoriser, after reading several reviews I realize that they send everybody the same "scent", you can clearly see that they didn't even bother to making an effort, they just send you anything that's not even wearable, stay clear from this company, they are con artist, and you end up spending $85.00 for nothing like I did, I hope somebody closes down this horrible place that's out there just to take your money.

I still have 2 original bottles of this. I loved it so much but then got sick of it and packed the last 2 away years ago. I only brought them out again recently and have now remembered why I loved it so much. However although it still smells amazing to me, the fact that it is so powerful and lasts so long is what I don’t like about it, I hate waking up a day later feeling like I’ve just doused myself in it. Will have to save it for occasional use I think.

In the same family as original Opium. Though much softer overall, it does share that sort of scratchy, dark incense-y accord with Opium. With the availability of Opium and its variations, I don't see the point of tracking down a bottle of Ciao *just to try it for the first time.* I only tried it because two people said it reminds them of Tuscany per Donna, which I love, however, I find it has nothing whatsoever in common with Tuscany per Donna.

If my memory do not fails: It was a sort of green sparkly sister of the first Armani pour femme (a bit Deneuve and K de Krizia without aldehydes) ). Very nice, typical of that era, so 80s, sexy and quite fresh. Fresh & French i may say, despite of the italian name that was trendy and adopted in that period in france to say goodbye, still in use, it was a modern Joy, flowery bold and green and as said fresh without be a zesty or citrus.

I just have a copycat made, by scentmatchers, wasnt that cheap $70.00 and $10.00 for shipping, should see if its good or not, I just ordered two days ago.
