Cream Chiffon – The Most Addictive Bedtime Dessert Oh wow... this one. 🍰✨ I wore Cream Chiffon to bed last night and I could not stop smelling my wrist. Truly one of those fragrances that makes you pause, smile, and immediately go back for another sniff. This is such a beautiful creamy gourmand. The opening gives you that soft swirl of vanilla cream and brown sugar that immediately feels comforting and indulgent. But it’s not heavy or sticky — it’s light, fluffy, and airy... exactly like the name suggests. The cream note is the star here. It smells smooth, whipped, and luxurious — like fresh cream folded into a delicate dessert. Then the vanilla and benzoin add that warm, cozy sweetness that wraps everything together like a soft blanket. 🍦✨ There’s also a little sparkle from the bitter orange, which keeps the fragrance from becoming too dense or overly sugary. It adds just enough brightness to lift the whole composition. And the heliotrope? That’s where the magic happens. It gives the fragrance that soft powdery almondy sweetness that makes everything feel velvety and addictive. On my skin this smells like whipped vanilla cream, soft citrus sugar, and the most delicate fluffy cake. Sweet, dreamy, and unbelievably comforting. Honestly, this one is addictive. The kind of scent you keep smelling long after you spray it. I caught myself doing that little wrist-sniff all night. 😅✨ Projection sits comfortably in the moderate range and longevity was perfect for a cozy nighttime scent. For me this is an easy 10/10. 💜 If you love creamy gourmands, soft vanilla desserts, and fragrances that feel like edible comfort... this one is beautiful. This is very creamy and smooth and powdery. It smells like powdered dried orange candy topped with whipped cream. It’s like an orange creamsicle with a powdery undertone, or an orange creamsicle scented body lotion. I can’t get enough of it. It’s such an understated and cozy scent that would be the perfect signature scent. It also has a nostalgic feel and it reminds me of pretty doll houses, scented baby dolls and tea parties. It just has the scent of those scented pretty vanilla toys that we used to play with as kids. If you remember the strawberry shortcake dolls with the lipbalm in their hat, this reminds me of orange blossom’s lip balm in her hat. So cute! 🍊🍦

I think this smells incrEDIBLE. Not sure why the negative reviews it’s a very very creamy sweet fluffy scent. Staying power is good although it is intimate to the skin. Which I don’t mind in a cozy fragrance. Gives off Fresh Cream warm cashmere and Sweet Tooth vibes in a more niche way. Bottle is GORGEOUS. I just can’t justify the price atm because I spent too much on perfume already this month. And the fact it reminds me so much of cheaper options. In no way is this a bad fragrance it is very much sweet and creamy Update: I bought it! Love it. The bottle is the most beautiful in my collection too. Try to find on Mercari like I did for a good price

I prefer this way more than Hufflepuff, which is why I sold my bottle of Hufflepuff and purchased Cream Chiffon instead (at 60% off). Cream Chiffon is creamier, less sweet and the lemon sits in the background, making it smell like a lemon pound cake. This one definitely sits close to the skin, so hoping that it will get stronger as it sits, although reading the reviews I am not too optimistic.

Gorgeous bottle, the scent is just so very cosy coupling two mega cosy notes such as heliotrope, vanilla and cream. You almost feel cradled when you wear this. Smooth and soft like a cloud. Lovely.

Love it, inside and out! A delightful skin scent but I am a simp for skin scents so what can I say? I love the combo of citrusy & sweet notes and Cream Chiffon delivers pure yumminess 🍊🍋🍦🍫🍰 ✨✨✨✨

This is a really pretty vanilla, which House of Sillage does well. A fluffy milky vanilla marshmallow. The citrus is faint if it is even there. There was a smell nuance to Cream Chiffon that I could not put my finger on, another review said Play-Doh, & I thought omg that is it! I do not care for the play-doh-ness, it detracts from the vanilla in my opinion. But a pretty scent, I could see many people enjoying this one! And the cherry on top of the bottle is cute.

This is such a cute cupcake! The fragrance itself smells like Nivea/Jergens. When wearing it u get a clean sensation like u just got out shower and applied lotion You are definitely paying for the cupcake cuteness. RATED: I judged the book by the cover

Update I have revisited this scent and I’m really glad I did. It is lovely. Without going into too much, let’s just say it was my nose, not the scent that was the issue. Now, I’m really happy with this creamy light fragrance. I get mostly the citrus in the opening and the vanilla, whipped cream throughout. As it dries down it really is a lovely marshmallow whipped cream scent perfect for the summer and spring. Can’t wait to wear this as it warms up. Im gonna smell good. I own several HoS perfumes including Cream Chiffon (received as a gift), and this one falls short for me. I LOVE Hauts Bijoux and Benevolence, and Whispers of Seduction and Whispers of Truth Noir, but I can barely smell this at all. I was hoping for a great creamsicle type scent but I really get nothing. Sad because I also like love is in the air, tiara, Mickey Mouse, and a few others but I would say you have to sample this one. To me it is almost nonexistent

In the next instalment of sickeningly sweet and juvenile perfumes, we have Cream Chiffon. It’s not awful, at least this one smells somewhat pleasant, but it’s nowhere near being good either. It feels like every creation from this house has been dreamed up by AI within 5 minutes, if that AI was programmed by a teenage girl. Initially the bitter orange and lemon comes off far too redolent of surface cleaner, which thankfully settles quickly. However that bitter orange peel persists as it pushes into this white, creamy, soapy territory, alongside HoS’ signature move of applying a tooth-achingly sweet vanilla base. I just couldn’t imagine spending this kind of money and not being dramatically disappointed. I’m thoroughly disappointed and I got my decant for nothing! There is a good reason this house hasn’t blown up.

The name, the bottle, the lemon-y sweet notes . . . everything about this one promised something special. And yet, despite pleading with spray after spray to finally show up for me, all I have is an empty 2ml sample vial and a lot of disappointment. On my skin. I get a very pronounced baby powder smell that drowns out everything else. I can pick up the tiniest hints of a citrus-y sweetness, but no matter how hard I try to will them forward, they're so faint for me I'm honestly not sure if I'm just imagining them. Sadly, this isn't even travel spray worthy to me. ) :

This fragrance sits very close the skin. I can barely detect any of the notes except the sweetness. All I get is a light powdery scent with a touch of citrus after 4 consecutive sprays. For a price tag over $300, Cream Chiffon should be stronger with more sillage.

Oof. This bottle is one of the most gorgeous that I had in my collection, but the fragrance inside just does not live up to the name or packaging. The opening is too sour, too tart with that bitter orange and grapefruit top. The sourness lingers throughout, and the olibanum (frankincense) is a serious problem note for me. I always have a hard time with frankincense unless it's a quality one and well blended. Well, this is quality as I don't get any wet goat from it (ew), but the olibanum does not fit the scent profile whatsoever. It just adds a jarring discordant whiff that lasts throughout the entire 10 hour span that this lingers on the skin. I have smelled this on others and it works well, so I do think my preferences and personal chemistry play a big part in how this one goes over on me. I decluttered it, no sense in keeping it just for the bottle.

I’ve tried every scent in both Whispers & Sweet. What sillage? Where?!

I wouldn't say I'm a House of Sillage super fan, but I have found a few scents from them that I really do enjoy despite the gaudy bottles lol. I do get curious about new cupcakes and this one in particular seemed like it would be right up my alley just from looking at the notes. I don't know how helpful this will be to most people, but upon spraying this fragrance I was immediately reminded of Blue Magic hair grease. I'm thinking this is due to the citrus elements in combination with the heliotrope. The sweetness of the fragrance is also quite mild and seems a bit muted. I think this might be a result of the powdery quality of the heliotrope. The best way I can describe the heliotrope in this is that it makes the fragrance smell almost stuffy. But if you enjoy a significant powdery facet in your fragrances then you might really enjoy this. I do also get the vanilla and the whipped cream which are really nice, but the heliotrope stifles them a bit; the dry down is where they become the most prominent and uninhibited. This is a fragrance that sits quite close to the skin. So if you're looking for a scent that people will smell before they see you, this isn't going to be that. However, it does seem pretty persistent on clothing so you should at least have a decent scent bubble around you for the day. And I'm sure someone would be able to smell you if they came in for a hug. Overall, this scent isn't *quite* what I thought it would be and my initial assessment is that I don't think I will be purchasing a full bottle. But my mind has changed before by the time I'm finished with a decant so maybe I'll feel differently in a week or two. Even if I did come to enjoy it enough to purchase a full bottle, it wouldn't be until it goes on sale as everything at House of Sillage eventually does. It might take a few months, but rest assured that it will go on sale at some point if you're patient enough to wait.

This is not nearly as sweet as I was anticipating. I agree with what another reviewer said, that the heliotrope suffocates the sweetness a bit. Also this scent is SO faint. I sprayed myself 5 times and for most of the day rarely ever caught a whiff of it. So, it's a very light scent. I do like this. I will wear it, but I don't love it as much as I thought. I've smelled other fragrances with a vanilla/whipped cream combo and they smell lighter sweeter and fluffier than this one does. EDIT: After I used it the first time it sat in my drawer for a few weeks. It is now much more potent! I only need 2 spritzes and I can smell it on myself. Still not a huge projector but it's not super weak like it was when I first opened the bottle.

I steered away from this fragrance because most reviews mentioned that this won't last more than 4 hours on you and sits close to your skin. I purchased a little discovery set that includes the Icy and sweet dreams. I sprayed this one on today at 7 am and it's 6 pm and even though it's sitting close to my skin. It's there! I was asked twice about what I was wearing today so it definitely projects even though I sample sprays don't cover much of your skin. As for the scent. I actually really liked it. These kind of creamy perfumes are not uncommon but the vetiver and olibanum does give it a different twist. To my nose it felt like a fresh spicy cake frosting. If I see this on sale I will get it because I enjoyed it.

@COSMICSCENTS They have horrendous customer service. I received MULTIPLE defective bottles in the mail and they were terrible to deal with. They stood on their no return policy even for purchase that was over 300 dollars and arrived to me 3 or 4 times with leaky atomizers. The quality they offer is terrible for the price, basically a SCAM. They bedazzle the cap and call the rest good. I'm sad to see how much hype this brand gets, people should really look into how they treat their customers. Expensive junk :)

Really smooth, sweet, soft, creamy, and has just a tad bit of that round Play-doh-y scent that you find in Hypnotic Poison (not saying they smell the same, just that it shares that note). There's citrus but it's not a sharp juicy citrus--more like a light powdery, confectionary citrus accompanied by something that feels soft and woody (the vetiver I'm guessing, which is not too dry or screechy). "Cream Chiffon": just what it says on the tin. Lovely, but very simple/linear.

I am a sucker for beautiful bottles and sweet scents but not at this price. I emailed the brand to find out where i could buy a sample or test the fragrance and they said that they don't have samples and didn't even bother to tell me exactly in which department store they carry them. Saks and Neiman's have some of the line to purchase online but I called my city stores and Saks doesn't have it and Neiman's said they have the complete line and not the new one.
