Tom & Jerry – House of Sillage 8/10 — bright, pretty, and easy to enjoy. The third sample included in the Niche Swap Box was Tom & Jerry by House of Sillage. This fragrance is fruity, sweet, and playful. The presentation is indescribably beautiful, but the price for this kind of perfume profile feels almost criminal. Now, let’s talk about the scent. It opens bright, citrusy, and delicious, with something that reminds me of grape soda. There is also a delicate floral nuance and a slightly green facet that adds freshness. My overall impression is clean, dewy, and lightly sparkling. A soft peachy sweetness rounds the composition, making the fragrance feel cheerful, luminous, and very easy to wear. In fact, I find it prettier and brighter than "And The World Is Yours" by Dominique Ropion. This perfume feels uplifting, uncomplicated, and well-balanced, almost like a harmonious composition where every element blends smoothly. It’s perfect for spring and summer. I can’t get enough of how wearable it is, and it would be a very safe blind buy if it weren’t for the price. At $418, it’s hard not to question how normalized these luxury price points have become. As it dries down, the musk becomes more noticeable(warm and slightly peppery) before settling into a gentle amber warmth that gives the fragrance a soft, rounded finish. I mainly got this fragrance for the bottle so the juice is irrelevant to me I haven’t sprayed it yet but I did sniffed the card it came with and it’s exactly what I thought it would be it’s odd because I would’ve called it a fresh fruity not woody floral but I must say it does smell familiar even my kids said it smell like something I have in my collection.

I also got samples when I made my order for a full size bottle (cupcake?) of another fragrance and I have to say I did not smell mimosa nor vanilla. It smells like a unisex fresh scent. Very citrus-y but yet woody, too. I think there must be a lot of either iso e or another aroma chemical like it bc noses smell those so differently, and sometimes they smell like a completely odor. Any way, I'm going to let the sample sit for a couple months bc the scent does change and deepen but initial impression isn't positive. I'd buy it for the bottle alone but only if it goes on a serious sale. Although, men seem to like Dior Sauvage - they should try this, not that they smell similar but they have a similar vibe. Or that's how my nose interprets it. ymmv

I received a few 2ml samples when I ordered the Batman fragrance and Tom and Jerry was one of the freebies. This is a very nice fresh fragrance, it starts off very bright, fresh, and fruity. Once it dries down, the musk becomes very apparent, mixed in with florals, giving the fragrance a very laundry/dryer sheet type of scent (not a diss, just a fact). It's still very nice, though, but I feel like the dry down may turn people away. From opening to dry down it goes from a 9.5 to an 8. I can't comment on longevity because I'm only sampling on my arm as opposed to giving this a full wear throughout the day. Edit: I voted this is "more female" although it could be unisex. I only vote that way because this is on the other end of the spectrum compared to scents like Sauvage and Aventus. This is in the same realm as Lazy Sunday Morning or something like that.

A cheap synthetic mess masquerading as perfume. This is just marketing nostalgia and selling it as smelly water in a collectible looking bottle (which I personally find unattractive but that’s a matter of taste). It’s sharp, soapy, vaguely smells like gum with an extra dose of fake sugar. It’s strong too so now I have to go scrub for a while.

This is by far one of the best fragrances from House of Sillage, right behind Hufflepuff. It’s such a beautiful bright mimosa and vanilla scent with bright peach and lemon at the top that do not overwhelm the fragrance, but just add a brightness to the warm vanilla. Please try this if you like mimosa or vanilla! 😍

It doesn't smell bad, but Really smells like a cheap Bath and Body spray sorry to say. Part of me still want to get it just for the bottle because words cannot explain how happy I was as a kid sitting in front of the tv watching Tom & Jerry cartoons.
