Whispers of Enlightenment

This opens tart and fruity, then throughout the drydown it sweetens up. There's a fruity liquor affect going on with this fragrance that I find to be unique. It's hard to come by a F/B of WOG these days, but HOS has the 8ml travel size for $60 usd. And I have been able to get 4 to 5 hours of wear before it turns into a complete skin scent. At a cost of roughly $380 a cupcake, it should last double what I've been experiencing. I wonder If this is discontinued...anyone know?

Definitely luscious sweet peach, with vexing facets. This has the HOS trademark of being intoxicatingly addictive. You get compliments from random people beaming a smile at you. It’s a very bright and cheerful, yet sophisticated and expensive peach scent. I love and have so many fragrances from HOS.

A nice fruity/floral fragrance. If you like peach and pink pepper with soft floral base notes, you'll like this perfume.

It's a YES for me!! And I'm surprised. This is a lovely peach-y, fruity, and jasmine fragrance. It smells nice and sweet but not too sweet. The peach for me is fragrant, present, but also kind of dry - which isn't a bad thing to me. It doesn't feel exactly like a wet and juicy, sweet peach that's just had the skin broken. It feels like a peach that was bitten into a few hours ago, and then placed on top of a wooden shelf, right next to dried out florals...and as it has sat, it has become less sticky sweet, and more dry and earthly fragrant, w/ the smallest bit of spice. The skin that was once washed, has also dried out, and began to provide a dustiness that helps the fragrance. I am pleased w/ this House of Sillage purchase - FINALLY! No other juice I have from this house comes off as anything more than a faint, barely there, whiff of scent - for ME. I even got a "what are you wearing?" And a "ummm" as I waved my arm in my relatives' face after they asked...they also happen to feel like having more than 2 perfumes is overkill. I sprayed 3 times along my arm. This was over 4 hours ago, and it's still going strong.

I received this as a Christmas gift and was a little disappointed with it in the cold of winter. But I revisited this scent as it has started to warm up and I’m really thrilled with it now. I get the peach and pink pepper along with the rose, jasmine, vetiver, patchouli and moss. That moss really adds this undercurrent of, I hate to use the term, dankness, but it is true and perfect in this scent. I like that earthy grounding. It is the right juxtaposition necessary to keep this scent from going off into the overly sweet realm. The jasmine also adds that same quality, making it a bit more sultry than it would have been without it. Upon first sniff some might dismiss this as frivolous and boring, but I have found it to be much more well rounded and well thought out.
