Alive Absolu

While waiting to pick up my order at Notino, without any major expectations I went to smell some of random perfumes. Nothing moved me until I came across this. Wow. Leather and smokiness, patchouli not earthy, but giving a smoky effect. And a slight sweetness, but not enough to make this scent stop being dry. To my nose, it's an elegant scent for a woman pursuing a professional career. Not at all what I like on a daily basis and suits my personality, but it drew me in so much that after successful tests with samples, I'm currently waiting for a full size bottle to be delivered ❤️

Ooh this is a beautiful warm leather scent! If you dont like leather this might not be for you as its the first note that hits you. I feel like it fades a little bit after some hours, but still smell the leather note. The vanilla note resembles Kayali vanilla 28 vanilla, like real vanilla extract that makes it warm and a bit spicy. Gorgeous blend actually. Its different and interesting. Is it the best I’ve ever smelled, probably not. But I think its worth a try! I imagine this could layer beautiful with most vanilla/cashmere/wood scents ! It was beautiful with vanilla 28 ❤️

Jummy !!! This is my new favorite winter fragrance. So well balanced with no unpleasant extremities. This fragrance is gorgeous, pure festivities, pure luxurious comfort. I'm in love with alive absolu ❤️🌟❤️ Als o excellent quality fragrance. Very long lasting

»what the hell is this opening?« was my first thought as soon as i smelled whatever i had sprayed on myself. reminded me of Angel by Mugler that had gone bad. however, as 15 minutes passed, it had developed into an elegant, seductive and classic scent, best suitable for sophisticated winter evenings, spent in a long sleek black dress. the leather and the wood give this fragrance a masculine touch to its otherwise feminine character. one does not have to love it to admit that it is interesting nonetheless.

The opening of this is beautiful. Then it dries down and starts to smell a bit like leather and rubber. Ideal scent for a visit to a BDSM venue...maybe not for weekday wearing to work. However, I think it could be softened with layering of other scents. I’ll need to try it out. The performance is great - it’s bold and it lasts a decent time. Not an immediate love, but they’re not all winners straight out the gate.

I overall liked it, it’s a sweet, vanilla, creamy leather scent. However, I found the dry down too artificial. It was nice for the first 2/3 hours, but afterwards it starts smelling more and more like a fake leather jacket. I finished the sample, because I actually find it fine, but it gives off synthetic vibes. I am not buying the full bottle

i found a sample of this on the ground lol. it smells like gummy bears, these notes are perplexing. its quite nice

Exactly leather+patchouli+vanilla. I couldn't smell anything else in this. I found this on the more unisex side than women's. It smells classy actually, but unfortunately, I'm not very fond of leather in perfumes (and it has a very prominent leather note, if you like it you'd like this perfume). I will try this one a couple more times just because I liked its vanilla. For now, this is a "meh" for me.

HOLY Hell- what is this mess of a fragrance. Initial spritz it reminds me of a bug spray called PEAU BEAU - this fragrance is definitely NOT a pleasing smell.It is NOTHING like EUPHORIA and disappears to a faint skin scent (thankfully within minutes) it is not that dreamy vanilla that you would expect based on the previous flankers of ALIVE. Do a skin test first- i beg you! COTY stick to creating men's fragrances would be my humble opinion!

This makes me so nauseous... I see why someone might like it. The opening is original and pretty but man.. I just can't get past the linear rubber tire stench. Leather is a no for me, unfortunately. I want to sell it, it was a blind buy. DM me if you are interested.

Dark berries with a touch of leather, progressively getting sweeter and more synthetic. Generic perfumey fuity-sweet drydown. It smelled interesting on paper, so I went with one spray on my hand, followed by a spray behind each ear. Smells like there's a mix of aronia, blueberry and cherry. The berries are tart, effervescent and bubblegummy in the opening. The fruitiness persists until the end. I don't really get the patchouli unless I put my nose close to my hand. It's not the usual punchy type - it's subdued, earthy and slightly spicy instead. The leather note is also subtle, but it's definitely there. Makes the perfume have this grown-up, serious, dark and maybe even a bit sexy vibe. Instead of vanilla there's a nondescript sweetness. The perfume gets sweeter and sweeter as the minutes go by. After 2-3h it smells like a regular fruity-sweet designer with the dreaded perfuminess creeping in. The drydown is as perfumey as can be, still fruity and even sweeter than before. The fragrance smells extremely synthetic at this point. I washed it off after 7h. The notes given don't make much sense as the perfume is more fruity than anything else. Suitable for autumn, but not strong enough for winter. I enjoyed it for the first 3h. The rest of it was too sweet, perfumey and generic, like an explosion of too many different aromachemicals. It's the perfect example of what 98% new designer fragrances are like.

When I smelled this perfume the first thing I thought of is that it smells like a perfume shop. At the opening, It smells a bit spicy, it has a perfect blend of vanilla and patchouli but the patchouli is a bit overpowering which kind of gives it a slightly masculine scent, also get a lot of the woody and leather notes as well , when it dries down you can really smell the vanilla with a hint of creaminess which I really like , I personally prefer the dry down better and it has a great lasting power , it lasted around 7-9 hours on my skin , perfect for colder months . It’s my first perfume from BOSS and it did not disappoint!! 9.5/10 for me this is a must try!!

This is gorgeous. So unusual. Deep. Dark. And a little dusty. Leather with capital letters, but not sour, more...dusty. Fume alike. I wouldn’t guess, that‘s a...Boss. Edit: I ended up forgetting about it. It doesn’t last long, it‘s kinda oily and reminds me too much...a Yankee candle. :( Edit 2: a few months later I revisited it and now...I am considering to buy it. Imagine lol

Finally some promising notes of leather in the women designer isle, instead of the usual flowers and sweets. If this will smell cheap and sweet, I’ll be very disappointed.

This smells like Boss Bottled Absolu if it would be produced by Rabanne or smth, smell is foul and reminds me of bug spray and burned tires.

Warm and sensual! Such a cozy scent. Versatile, day- time and night- time. Perfect for Fall and Winter.
