Boss Bottled Absolute

I've always liked Boss Bottled; the problem is that here in Spain it's a fragrance with an overwhelming success: Almost every time there is an occasion when people are wearing suits, you smell Boss Bottled. The same for Boss Bottled Intense, too. Finally, this 'Absolute" iteration comes out and I have to say that it's really good: More modern, classy and refined than the OG & Intense. Also, it has a different vibe... Which allows you to wear it next to the others and not smell the same. ... And I'm not going to say better or worse, but different enough; I've read people who say it smells the same and this isn't the case at all. However, if you aren't able to discern the nuances, don't buy it. The Scent: It opens with apple, bergamot and plum, masterly blended in a gentle balance expanded with cinnamon and subtle woods. All of this is sustained and harmonized with a soft musk and other notes that add depth and a watery - but not the typical aquatic -vibe. The final blend is sophisticated, elegant and modern. Mood & Occasions: -Boss Bottled Absolute is a classy signature scent to wear with a suit on all occasions involved. Of course, it's an attractive and sensual fragrance, without losing an iota of confidence and class. Best seasons are Fall, Spring and Winter; Summer if it's not too hot. - Longevity & Projection: It lasts long enough, but it's a smooth projector (6 - 8h). This is the type of fragrance that I use for long days with all kinds of situations, including a night out. In these cases I usually have the bottle on hand or carry a decant in my pocket... For me, this is better than a strong fragrance which can be excessive at various times of the day. Conclusion: A modern and elegant signature scent. Excellent choice for executives, even at formal events... But for other types of uses and scenarios, you may prefer Boss Bottled Intense.

I have just got a 100ml bottle of this for as little as £21 on ebay. I couldnt believe my good futune! I checked out the two reviews on YouTube which were favorable toward Absolute, and on this page where the reviews are mixed. The negative reviews are not based on knowledge nor experience, as their reviews lack content! I'm a fan of the HB bottled line and most people give positive vibes. Longevity is average and projection is at arms length. It is similar to the original bottled classic when it drys down but the opening is really lovely and about 30 minutes! Hugo boss Absolute is a really pleasant to wear and it has the edge over the classic for me. 8/10 all the way for me!

If you like the original edt you will love this. It was love at 1st smell to me and definitely a keeper. To sum it up to me this smells like a slightly more woody and smooth version of the edt. The cashmere note is beautiful in the dry down. Projects really well on my skin and is an addictive cosy scent. Longevity for me is great too, it lasted around 7.5 hours.

The first time I smelled it, I immediately fell in love with this fragrance. It's a great crime how weak this fragrance is though. Reminds me slightly of Armani Code. Not necessarily a summer fragrance, but quite wearable for cooler evenings in midsummer.

Similar to og and intense but too me more smokey and deeper. One of my favourites in the bottled line. Would definitely recommend if you can find it at a reasonable price. Suited for colder weather or at least too me it is

If you like woody, spicy and fruity smell, then this one is the best option. For every season, except summer.

2024 best designer release of the year.

It's OK. Maybe a little smoother and more modern than the original but I feel they share many of the same qualities. You can smell the plum right off the bat but this fragrance is still all about the apple and the cinnamon, so if you like the original Boss Bottled you'll like this too. Performance is about what I've come to expect from this line. I've yet to be blown away by any of its flankers (except the Intense EDP). I like this fragrance but not nearly enough to buy it.

Boss l'eau would have been a better name for it, Boss Absolute conjures up an expectation of something deep and sensual, this isn't, it's simply a lighter, softer version of the original. After three hours it became a skin scent, unusual for Boss, they normally perform well on me. All in all I felt underwhelmed by this, despite liking it, I had just expected something different.

Blind Buy...Smells pretty identical to the original release. Not picking up any plum at all. Slightly disappointed as I was hoping for a bit of a twist to the DNA, but it’s just too similar to the OG. Damn you content creators on YouTube. You can do worse... Not worth hunting down or paying secondary when you can just be satisfied with a recent release of the original fragrance.

A gentle version of the original. On a first sniff you'll think to yourself, 'Isn't this the same as the old version?' It kinda is, and it's nice, but nothing to get that excited about in 2019.

I do not understand this release, it smells almost the same as the Boss Bottled n6 with the same poor performance? I love the smell, but it has a ridiculous performance.

If you are into the original Boss Bottled - it is essentially the same ... agree to prior reviews - I'm missing the Plum ... nothing special only more affordable than the original. Would not buy again. From the reviews, I expected major wow factor. However, this is just another department store fragrance That’s mass appealing and underwhelming. Clearly, they are paying influencers to promote this newest launch⭐️⭐️

This is great option if you like the orginal Bottled (apple dna). Vanilla is missing and the mandarin is added. Great recommendation for hot summer days. Very pleasant smell.

Better invest your money somewhere else Sometimes mistakes happen.

I'm a little confused about this release. It seems less strong than the original to me, smells basically the same and is just.. lighter in a way, which I find counter intuitive because of the dark, mysterious bottle. I really don't get any other notes and while I see the review with the actual difference in notes, I don't really detect these at all. To me it's just boss bottled, in a less strong version but nice looking bottle. It's not what I'm looking for and I couldn't imagine a single person to want a less strong/intense version of a good perfume - it's basically a downgrade that costs much more than the original or the intense version. Sorry but that's a hard pass for me. I do enjoy boss frags a lot but this release seems rather pointless to me, like many releases this year. I'll stick to boss bottled intense as I find it to be the best one from the house. True to it's original, strong and if it needs to be less strong, you just spray less. It's that easy!

Have sampled it once only! A much more refined and luxurious smelling "Boss Bottle" due to the "Absolu extracts". "Boss Bottled" for the daytime and "Boss Bottled Absolute" for the nighttime. Does "Boss Bottled - Absolute" outshine both "Boss Bottled Intense Edt" and "Boss Bottled Intense - Edp"? The test goes on ;-)

Funny how it goes regularly sold out on discounters because of confusing name and confused people. Less funny is same people reviewing the "other one" on this page.
