Boss Bottled Beyond Eau de Toilette Intense

The initial opening of the fragrance is a sweet Orange Blossom scent with some light undertones of Leather. 15 Min - The Leather is becoming more pronounced, but the white florals are still present and part of the scent profile. 30 Min - The Leather note continues to move forward and the Orange Blossom continues to fade slightly. Still present, but definitely taking a back seat to the Leather. 60 Min - Still continue to get more Leather and less Orange Blossom. The transition is slow but noticeable. Dry Down - The dry down of this fragrance is a soft Leather scent (not animalic at all) with light undertones of white florals (Orange Blossom) making this an easy wear fragrance for any occasion. Performance: Projection of this fragrance is Good with the frangrance creating a scent bubble of about 2+ feet for 2+ hours. The sillage is also Good with a scent trail of about 3 feet for over 2 hours. Longevity is Good with the fragrance lasting on my skin about 7 to 8 hours, but becoming a skin scent at about 3 hours.

All jokes aside, I guess I’m the first person to actually review this new one. I’ve had it for 3 weeks now (shout out to the Canada duty free in Montreal) and I can honestly say I’ve received an unsolicited compliment on it almost every time I’ve worn it. It is super crowd pleasing but not wholly original. It borrows from Myself Le Parfum and blends that with a more leathery forward version of Bottled Beyond. Fresh (bright citrus + orange blossom), aromatic in a non-specific way, and finishing with a bright leather accord which lacks the texture or resinous feel of a true leather. This is more like a blonde, suede leather which is easy to wear. -Does it break any molds? No -Does it offer something unique in the crowded orange blossom space? Just a little by dialing the floral component back & highlighting the leather aspect -Will you smell irresistibly good? YES. Hugo Boss delivers another solid offering, though not a home run for artistry snobs.

Perfect for people who loves to feel the woody, leather, and floral scents in a single fragrance.

It's quite nice. Like Bosses own myslf. Light citrus and orange blossom scent that is dries down to a musky-woody ambroxan like base Longevity is not bad for an edt, on my arm still smelled 8hrs later.

We're now at less than one note per perfumer. Daphne said "I love orange blossom let's add that!" A taciturn Bruno muttered "leather." Frank as the most senior of the group was "supervising." R&D was completed over a single lunch. That'll be $155 for 50ml please. *I know that's not how it really works and there will be somewhere from 30-90 different synthetics and a few naturals in the blend, but I'm with those that find the tiny notes lists boring. I think notes lists, while generally fabricated, do help most consumers to help perceive - or at least go sniffing for - some more nuances.
