This is such a strange fragrance. First time I sampled this on a store I thought their bottle went bad. Then I sampled on another place and it had the same bad faint smell. This probably has some aromachemical combination that my nose despises, because it is hard to think that Boss would release a EDP that smells so boring and faint like this smells to me. Update 12/06: Maybe this is a reformulated batch? I have sampled it on different stores now and all give me the same scent - nothing like the notes described here. It's like a very faint cheap box white wine scent after a couple of hours out of the box Update 12/07: Today I believe I experienced the fragrance from a good bottle for the first time, it's way nicer than what I experienced before in 3 different places. And I actually like it very much, it also dried down very nice. Seems like either there's a very bad batch going around or the fragrance spoils after some time open in stores. Will try find more of the good and bad testers on stores to check the batches and report my findings. Update 12/08: I was intrigued by this and since I have some fragrance stores around my routine, I went back into some of them this morning to check this issue. In 2 places where the smell was bad, the testers batches are from 2021 (1106) and 2022 (2265). So this is probably the issue I experienced with the bad scent, hopefully due to bad storage practices because don't want to imagine Boss fragrances actually go bad after 3 years like clockwork. The good tester had a 2025 batch and all makes sense now. Careful with your EDP bottle, it seems like they will really go bad quick if not properly stored. If you have a old bottle of the EDP, check it and please let me know if you're experiencing any degradation (or us here if you want to go public).

I love this fragrance. It’s very well mixed and balanced. The opening notes of crisp apple, bold black pepper, and invigorating bergamot are beautiful to my nose. As the fragrance develops, the heart notes of warm cinnamon, rich chestnut, and aromatic cardamom add depth and complexity. The base notes of sensual musk and earthy vetiver round out the fragrance, providing a solid foundation upon which the other notes can shine. More of a cool weather scent and great for work spaces, this lasts about 4-5 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first 2 hours. This is a modern smelling scent, which would work well on men in the 30 plus age group. As with most Boss scents, this is safe and elegant. For sure, this is a Boss Bottled flanker scent and the original Bottled DNA is present. If you don’t like the apple and cinnamon combination, it’s best to avoid this one. The price on this fragrance is quite high and it doesn’t seem to get discounted that often. If I was to choose, I would recommend the original Boss Bottled EDT over this as it’s generally cheaper, lasts longer, and is a bit more versatile in terms of wearability. On the other hand, in cooler weather, I prefer this scent as it’s a bit smoother and spicer. In summary: *Beautiful, smooth, apple, spicy scent. *Doesn’t last that long and doesn’t project that much. *It’s not a unique smell and in certain situations like a social outing or date it might lack that “wow” factor.

And yet another Boss Bottled release! This is actually a decent release, though. It is indeed similar to the newest intense Eau de Parfum, but this is more meaningful. I feel this one isn't nearly as rushed as the aforementioned. This is more mature and of course more modern but still retains the beautiful, spicy nature of the original. I would actually call this "Boss Bottled HD" because it is so much clearer and crisp. Do not get me wrong, the original Boss Bottled is one of my all time favorite fragrances and the fact that this rivals the original is a huge compliment! When I saw YSL La Nuit in the "reminds me of" section, I immediately thought to myself, "wow, I can totally see that!" It is very interesting to find a little La Nuit in this new blend. I would say this is 80% Boss Bottled with 20% La Nuit mixed in, which equals an incredible result! I just hope it lasts. If it sticks around for a long time, then this is a winner for Boss. This is a good release. It is designer-ish, but it's supposed to be. Boss Bottled + YSL La Nuit = A home run for designer lovers and also Boss Bottled lovers! The recent Boss Bottled Intense and Intense EDP do not hold a candle to this. Don't sleep on this one guys! Great job, Boss! It took a few tries, but you did it. Scent: 8/10 (on a designer scale) Uniqueness: 8/10 (love how there's a YSL La Nuit vibe mixed in) Longevity: ??/10 (Can't comment right now) Overall: Highly recommended

Solid release! It’s not groundbreaking, but it smells VERY good. It’s quite sweet, and has a fantastic rich, warm/spicy vibe, but still retains freshness and brightness to it instead of being thick or overbearing. I think it could do quite well for nighttime in warmer weather because of this brightness and fruity/freshness, but it’s really going to shine in the fall/winter. It’s warm, sweet, clean, and masculine, and guaranteed will please those around you. As for the overall vibe, it reminds me of Spicebomb EDT and I can see why some would compare it to YSL La Nuit De L’Homme as well, the drydown absolutely reminds me of the L’Homme line, which is a major compliment to this fragrance. If you have something along those lines already, this may be redundant. If you want a mass appealing warm/spicy scent for cool/cold weather and don’t want anything offensive, this is the kind of scent you want. Really enjoying it for what it is. 8/10 :)

The Olive Wood Accord combined with Sage is magnificent. This is tied for my absolute favorite Hugo Boss Fragrance of all time (Boss Bottled Intense) This is DEFINITELY an incredible Fall fragrance, winter as well & cool spring days because of its wonderful spice. By the way the notes are way off here, the notes on the package are correct Top: Apple, Bergamot Heart: Cardamom, Sage Base: Olive Wood Accord, Vetiver There’s a good amount of all of these notes with the Bergamot being the weakest & Vetiver I would say is 2nd weakest though definitely still detectable in the base throughout the fragrance. If there is 1 note missing I would perhaps say there is some musk in here. Though that could just be the hearty sage combining with the Olive Wood Accord base. This is a magnificent Spicy Fall classic masterpiece. Much like by the Fire Place is my Winter feel good fragrance this is my Fall.

It seems like quite a departure from the original EDT and EDP intense version; it's missing much if not all of that apple pie. It's more ambery/woody and I believe there's something balsamic in there, making it lean into that warm-spicy oriental territory, but without being too overpowering. As someone said, this is more of a reimagining of the edt than it is a direct ancestor. Interestingly, after smelling Boss Elixir today I noticed clear and obvious similarities to this EDP and that. Seems as if they kept the DNA profile largely the same with this, and just made it denser in the Elixir. This is a good bet, still a safe office fragrance despite the presence of its ambery/spicy character. Could be considered slightly more than casual, but mostly I think you can wear it in roughly the same situations as the edt. For me, I prefer the EDP Intense, but this still deserves a high rating.

Over a few months, this has become my signature scent. It works in any weather, every situation. It's masculine, it's not too much of any one thing. It's fresh, NOT soapy, spicy, green, and a little Citrus and woody. The apple and cinnamon do NOT smell gourmand like apple pie to me. It's rather just a little fruity Citrus, very warm and fresh spicy forward, and then some of the vetiver and greenness mixed in. This stuff projects VERY well for quite a few hours, and will last on skin much linger and clothes for a couple days. As someone who generally prefers deeper, darker, Woody, spicy, leathery, Resinous stuff like boss bottled Elixir and Absolu, this was a pleasant surprise when I first smelled it and is far more versatile, so I've ended up wearing it far more. It captures a freshness without the typical soapy lavender, aquatic, or heavy Citrus that most fresh men's colognes have.

Picked this one up out of spite bc i was shopping for Bottled Absolu, and the vendor did not have it, however it has grown on me quite a lot in such a short time. Absolutely opens up with a crisp green apple scent on initial spray, before almost immediately the concoction of spices come out. Dries down into that woody note and pretty much stays the same woody and spicy profile for the rest of its lifetime. Definitely got that standard mass appeal focus to it as ALL designer brands do, but it's still a wonderful scent. Personally, i think you could rock it all year round, as long as you spray it at night when its cooler in the warmer months. It manages to have a nice freshness to it but not in the typicsl citrus-bomb, soapy, or linen/detergent way that other men's "fresh" frags tend to do. Low key might signature scent this

Boss bottled Eau de parfum, notes when applying are quite stingy in the nose that had a hint of citrus together with the spicyness of the perfume. This reminded me a lot of the Versace eros flame perfume in the beginning but instead with a little more subtle citrus smell and lot more black pepper backnote. The value itself is quite expensive but if you find the gift box of this perfume in 100 ml together with a filled 10 ml travel spray of the perfume as well as a shower gel of same fragance. This is one hell of a deal then. Because it cuts the price from 170-200€ of everything seperate, down to 100-120€ in the gift box. I was super fortunate to find this gift box for 60€ because of sales. Otherwise lovely perfume that wont go out after shortly of applying and has a great tardiness to it.

Under the radar for sure. I'd say generic, but that has little meaning in the fragrance world these days since 99% of stuff is same/same. This is an easy reach, versatile, reasonable performer that can be had on discounters for peanuts. Definitely a Boss bottled flanker, but a bit more mature imho. Just smells more polished and grown-up. Not getting too much of any one listed in the reminds above, so that is a plus. Notes list above is wrong, at least according to what BOSS has printed on the back of the box. It lists: Top: Bergamot, Apple Mid: Cardamom, Sage Base: Olive wood, Vetiver ...No cinnamon, musk or chestnut. And I don't detect them in the fragrance at all. Overall I like it a lot. Good value when purchased from a reputable discounter. All-season (not high heat).

This is really nice. It's my only foray into the bottled line so I can't compare to the OG, but I laughed at the guy who said it smelled like The One. There is no coriander that I can detect, which is the number one thing that frag evokes for ne. This is as far from that as something with a cinnaminic note gets, imo. It's more of a work scent (for an executive) than a date night scent. The opening is slightly reminiscent of John Varvatos Vintage more than anything else in my opinion. The warm spicy elements blend very tastefully with fruity and green ones to create something very versatile that transforms noticeably but logically throughout the dry down. Smells like quality and confidence.

Blind bought this by recommendation from a friend and I love this fragrance. It's fairly versatile in cooler/fair weather, day or night. It's a little dressed up, I don't wear it with a graphic tee but a tee from Tommy Hilfiger for example would be fine. Makes me think of being in the sunshine on a fair day dressed in nice lounge clothes looking good lol. It's fresh, it's aromatic, there's a hinge of sweet but not in a fruity way. It lasts a very long time on clothes. I wear it sparingly to work bc coworkers say it "fills the room" at around 6 sprays. I wouldn't recommend blind buying even though I love it. I could see how someone would not like it. Overall rating: 86/100

Hugo Boss edp is an absolutely wonderful scent. What I like about this over most Hugo Boss Bottled fragrances is its staying power and dark side to it in comparison. Very similar to bottled Intense but heavier. Longevity is on my skin about 8-9hrs and the projection is better too, but you would expect that with an edp over an edt right. I do like this an it is worth spending the extra for this one because it does have its own character. Now I'm after a 6.8 fl.oz(200ml) bottle because I have no problem having this as a signature scent. A really pleasant fragrance and an 8.5 out of 10 all the way for me❤️🤗!

Underrated in my opinion. Definitely gives off the same vibe as La Nuit de L'Homme, albeit with a slightly different smell. Great scent for a human, natural, not too in your face, just a pleasant, inviting, crowd pleasing scent and without being boring or air-fresheneresque either. Performance is average, I'd say better than La Nuit. Seems to project better than Boss Bottled Intense, but it might just be my nose picking it up easier. If you can get for a good price, it's a solid non-synthetic pleasant smell. Smells better in the air than from the bottle for sure.

First off: No this is not a stronger version of the EDT. Boss Bottled EDP is another mass pleasing fragrance released by hugo boss. I feel like when it comes to that topic Hugo Boss has not disappointed yet and brought out fragrance after fragrance that no one will get offended by. I really like the notes (especially the Cardamom) and it perfectly fits the fall and winter season. The performance is pretty decent and the price is okay. Nothing really special but another affordable good fragrance.

I believe that is pretty underated..i see many saying its not "wow" etc but that doesnt mean something..i own azzaro the most wanted edp intense,dior sauvage elixir,i had acqua di gio parfum..maybe they are more "exciting" cause they are more intense but again that doesnt say anything..i think that this fragnance is at the same level but in another more subtle way..its very masculine and in the drydown has an excellent "fresh" type vibe,especially on clothes..i like it very much

Most people down voting this perfume have probably not smelt it. They are just judging it based on the notes on fragrantica. I own this and i can boldly say this is monstrous in high heat and it is not similar to Stronger with you, just because it shared a chestnut note doesn't make it smell like SWY because I own it too. It has its own vibes and i love it. Ladies love this smell in the club. do try it on your skin before writing it off based on fake reviews. cheers

If I had to pick a few fragrances that I would wear to the office, Boss Bottled EDP would definitely be on my list. It has a soft apple scent that isn’t overpowering to anyone who tries to smell it. It’s not a unique scent, but it’s a great choice if you want to start your day. Longevity is average, same as the scent, but considering the price, I think it’s worth considering for purchase. For that reason, I give this perfume a score of 8.5/10.

At first I thought I will have a hard time pulling this off. This is the first time I wore this throughout the day and it’s past the 10th hour and the scent is still there without me digging through my skin. Cannot comment on the projection though as I have not asked anyone but that gourmand spicy apple pie scent is there in the air. Maybe with the help of my shirt as I sprayed this morning on both skin and shirt.

Really a beautiful and seductive composition. It does fancy footwork between the sugary sweet, chemical compositions that glut the market these days, and the basic but highly serviceable warm/spicy fragrances that are always in vogue, emerging as something surprisingly nuanced yet totally wearable. It’s a heady charmer like its Bottled Intense EDP sibling but takes things in a different direction. I love it.

I really like this scent. It is fresh and spicy. Due to this I find it to be very versatile. While wearing this in summer may be an issue, it works well for all other seasons. This also lasts about 8 hours for me. It is not a masterpiece by any means, but it is a nice scent that has garnered me a few compliments. The only problem I have with this is that the late dry down smells sour.

Most notable apple note from all bottled line. Fresh but warm at same time. Spices and vetiver making it more of winter freshy. At opening very similar to Eros DNA. It cool down bit boring. Does keep apple note but it get overpowerd with middle notes, which is bit shame. Nothing unique still very nice perfume. Because of very nice apple note is one of my favourite from Bottled line.

This literally gives me the feeling of apple and cinnamon simmering in a pot during the winter months. It also has a subtle bergamot note to avoid being too overpowering on the nose. The notes completely complement each other within a few hours. I expected the longevity to be as long as Eros Flame, but it's still acceptable. I'll be buying a 100ml bottle for next winter.

Apple pie blast in the opening with the peppery apple making way for cinnamon and cardamom (I love cardamom) and a nuttiness (I don't distinctly get chestnut, but it "feels" nutty) in the heart. The fruit doesn't linger a particularly long time, as musk smoky woods come through for me in the base. It wasn't too gourmand and I enjoy the smoky woods on that dry down.

Very classy, very different. A typical Boss Bottled flanker. Unfortunately, as such that means bad performance too. 4-5 hours on the skin but really good smell. I can see a business man wearing this on a meeting. Very professional, well dressed up fragrance. If they pumped up the longevity this could be a very good signature scent 👍

This one is kind of overlooked and it's a shame really. The combination of the apple, citrus, cardamom and black pepper makes for a fresh yet warm invigorating scent. Perfect for a daily all year round use and potential signature scent. I just wished it lasted a little longer on my skin. Still worth it but only at discounted prices.

Come on Boss! Again?! Poor longevity, poor siege, bigger price just okay dry down... I don't think I will buy any Boss fragrance in the future. What a weak house. This one have potential for a signature scent and potential compliment getter, but of course due to poor performance and boring dry down this never gonna happen...

A pleasant surprise this, recommended. Amber and spice but very wearable, smooth even, date-night-ish. Its got a bit of class, its also a bit fanboy-ish but somehow an old git like me might just pull this off. Arguably a poor mans Layton (which you will be if you buy it, Layton that is!). 4/5

As a Boss Bottled fan boy, I was immediately hooked on the EdP and I wasn't disappointed. It lasts a very long time (for a Boss fragrance) and I like it much better than the perfume. The price is absolutely fine for the performance.

Like, FOR REAL, the middle notes are just magical to me. It's a REALLY pleasant experience. A great deal if you're looking for a fragrance that you can wear to pretty much every occasion.

The dry down is very similar to PDM Layton's dry down. Much sweeter than the EDT, does not have that apple core bitterness of the EDT. Just very smooth apple sweetness.

Wear this quite often. I bought the 6.8 oz. for myself and one for my brother . No regrets, not disappointed and would recommend you get some too. ENJOY!

Boss Bottled Eau de Parfum is an aromatic, spicy and woody fragrance. It has a fresh and spicy opening, slightly fruity and sweet with an aromatic sensation of chewing gum or bubblegum. This phase lasts about 15 minutes and then becomes more spicy and woody. It has cinnamon, but it is not as prominent as in the classic Bottled, here there is more presence of cardamom and pepper, in addition the chestnut is also noticeable which brings it closer to fragrances such as Gentleman Reserve Prive and some of Stronger With You. This version of Boss Bottled is suitable for intermediate seasons such as spring and autumn and even on cold days such as winter, on occasions such as office work, nights out, outings as a couple or romantic situations due to the use of spices and woods that it contains. Its longevity with me has been good, more than 8 hours, with noticeable sillage in the first hours. This is a pleasant fragrance, easy to like (like most Hugo Boss fragrances), with a modern aroma, which is far from the classic aroma, in fact the DNA of the original Boss Bottled is barely recognizable, so if you are looking a fragrance with the aroma of the EDT, but more powerful, in this version you will not find it, for that was or is Boss Bottled Eau de Parfum Intense. My recommendation is that you try this fragrance first and don't buy it blindly.

The scent opens with a bright apple note, spiced and almost creamy. It is gently sweet, without sourness. A warmness begins to develop in minutes, which continues for the duration of the scent, marking this as a temperate weather perfume for me. The apple sweetness recedes very slowly, leaving a slightly spicy, gentle musk and soft woods. Cashmeran is really notable in the dry-down. There's a note, after some hours, which reminds me of tobacco in paper. On my skin, the opening is reminiscent of baked apple pie with cinnamon sprinkles rather than anything too earthy or woody. The dry-down, however, is rather austere and not yummy or sweet at all. A sharp contrast indeed. This is a stronger and more nuanced take of the EdT version, with much better performance. The vanilla has been removed as compared with the EdT and Intense versions, replaced by a much spicier heart and musk at the base. The clean dry down here will likely be more popular in the decade ahead, as compared to the previous gourmand vanilla. Very well priced at discounters, and a surprisingly well put together scent given the pricing. Easily recommended due to the great value and mass appeal.

This is different than the original, more modernized. But, it is recognizable as part of this line if you smell hard enough. It does have a little of the generic bubble gum modern mens sweet notes at the beginning, but morphs into a very nice layered sweet apple musk, with slight rich notes of chestnut which provides a thickness. There is a somewhat interesting base of musky sharp vetiver. This base saves the fragrance from being totally derivative. Drydown is better than open. This is a well-performing modern men's designer sweet blue-ish spicy sweet fragrance, with a hint of the original sprinkled in. It is noticeably more dense and rich than the EDT. This is signifcantly different than the new parfum, which I actually prefer to this. With that said, this is a nice versatile fragrance for all seasons except summer. Age range: 20-45 Performance: 6-7 hours Rating: 7.25

A very classic scent for men in my opinion. I tried the original EDT and it just smelled like it was trying too much,even a bit nauseating.This one is more well rounded with simpler composition. It has apple and cardamom notes with musky/woody dry down,no cinnamon or chestnut smell like it says here.Very fresh profile. Of course, with a simpler and more popular DNA,it's more of a crowd pleaser.It doesn't make this any less appealing but don't except to be blown away,especially if you have a big collection. Performance is okay.It has about 5-6 hours of longevity and a moderate 1-1.5m projection,mainly in the first 2 hours. Overall it's like 7.5. It's a perfume you pick if you are like ''I just want to smell like a conventional man,thats it.''.Fresh,versatile (maybe not for very hot summer days) and definitely a compliment getter.

Having smelled the Parfum recently and discovered it is nothing like the original Boss Bottled, I am surprised to say that the EDP IS similar to the original. However, it is NOT the original with improved performance - it may be slightly better, but I still find the EDP to be a fairly soft scent, with moderate longevity. The scent profile is similar, but it trades some of the fresh citrus accords of the EDT for some fairly soft spiciness from the cardamom. It does smell a bit more Christmassy with the chestnut. If you like Boss Bottled, you'll like this. It's soft, warm, and inviting, but just a slightly different scent profile to the original. I can imagine this being an amazing scent when you're inside in the warm and it's cold and rainy outside. But don't buy it expecting a massive performer.

I dont have any boss bottled until this one, but it sounds like this is the one to get as a good example of the line. This is a very safe versatile fragrance whether it be to the office or a first time coffee date. I would say where you are going to be in close proximity to some one in a casual to semi formal setting. On the face of it, its a fresh spicy apple with a slightly alluring and, dare i say it, a very NATURAL vibe. Like a German apple juicebmade with all natural ingredients and no artifical sweetner. It starts off understated then matures in the dry down. By the time your date desides she likes you, she also thinking that the understated fragrance, like her man, is quite sexy and cosy. Its a blind grab that you cant go wrong with and that is probably all you need to know.

I haven't had the pleasure of testing other fragrances in this line, so I won't be able to comment on comparisons, but I really like this. It's a warm, sweet, slightly spicy fresh fragrance, very reminiscent of apple pie. Very soft and inoffensive, perhaps a bit milder than I'd have liked it to be, but it's still an excellent, classy daily driver best suited for the fall and especially Thanksgiving, though it also works in the early winter and spring. Would probably reach for something else once temperatures start dipping into freezing. I personally got a fantastic 40% off on this when I bought my 200mL bottle, but it's harder to recommend at MSRP. It's really up to whether you're looking for something sweet and inoffensive, in which case I think Boss Bottled EDP is a great pick.

Tried this on both tester strips and on my skin a few times. Being a fan of Boss Bottled no. 6 and Boss Bottled Intense, I tried this to see if it could eventually be a good replacement for either one especially the latter being so rare or discontinued. Boss Bottled EDP, however, hardly has the Boss Bottled DNA. It's there but very faint, you can barely tell that it's related to the OG Boss Bottled at all. More musky, none of the sweetness. What this fragrance does remind me of a lot of though is the original Adidas Moves 0:01 Moment of Truth. Very similar scent. So, if you're looking for something that can replace that fragrance, this would be it IMO albeit at a more expensive price point but considering Adidas Moves 0:01 is discontinued, it's a small compromise.

This is nice. An appley take on the recent trend of christmassy cold weather fragrances. The apple is similar to an apple pie type vibe rather than fresh apple, there's a tiny bit of peppers around the edges, the cinnamon is not sharp but gooey, and though it's not listed I smell ginger. This smells like a table of various deserts. It's nowhere near as sweet as 1 million for example, but still on the sweet gourmand side. Dry down reminds me of a sweetened Versace Dylan blue. I'm not sure if I'd buy this since I've already got MMM by the fireplace and Burberry London, so I'm okay for sweet cold weather scents. But if recommend this if you're looking for something new to cover that time of year.

I could not understand what people were talking about when comparing this to La Nuit. On my skin it smells nothing like that, so I sprayed this on a paper strip and then I could smell the resemblance. On paper, this fragrance retains some of the original Boss Bottled DNA that along with that cardamon note puts it in the same family as La Nuit. On my skin however, the chestnut note is king and gives the EDP a noticeable resemblance to Stronger with You by Armani. This makes the fragrance to be a lot warmer than on the paper strip, which I prefer. By today's standards performance is OK and it is a solid like for me.

This fragrance is nice don't get me wrong but it has serious longevity issues... 2hours maybe 3 and that is pushing it. It's a shame given the complexity of the formula. It starts with a juicy spicy apple that accompanies you throughout all the experience, after an hour it leave the space to spices and ambers giving it a much warmer spicier side. Nothing to exiting i would say definitely better than most of the Designers in therms of complexity and in therms of uniqueness but still lacking that wow factor and longevity ofc. A shame... with more longevity i would have given this an 8 but like this it's a 6.9.

This was a surprise. I cannot pick much from the original bottled EDT. This is closer to OG Hugo IMO, and seeing this in a canteen would make more sense to me. Not the best in the bottled line but not bad at all. Pleasant people pleaser. It opens very fresh, green aromatic, and masculine. Has a good amount of fruit in the opening. It gets a more woody tone and a bit more sweetness from spices once dried down. Longevity is 4-6 hours for me and projects mildly for the first two hours and settles then into a fresh masculine skin scent. Suitable for office.
