Boss Bottled Infinite

Boss by Hugo Boss 'Infinite': First off, major love and kisses(mushy, but sincere) to Fragrantica. This has been the wellspring of knowledge with a great community of reviewers. 'A tough audience' at times. My gosh, so many purchases with my confidence boosted by Fragrantica. On with it: Boss Infinite/Year: 2019/ Description: 'Woody Aromatic' Top notes: Apples, Cinnamon, Sage, Mandarin Middle notes: Lavender, Rosemary, Patchouli Base: Sandalwood, Olive Tree (ah what?!) One of the community members pointed out that Apple cannot be presented except as a synthetic. I learned something new. A Synthetic High: Aside: I remember in high school I used to make out with this chick(sorry..but it fits. ) She wore a platinum wig, Bourghese-heavy make up (so hot) and raspberry lip gloss. So, So Hot. Yikes--what happened. I got older--that's what happened. Ok so I am one big synthetic loving phony. I like synthetic fashion. I like a tailored look for me. As for female fashion: I think makeup, wigs, and things are just plain fun and they are indeed--SYNTHETIC!!!! For me. I never found a pair of men's slacks that hung better or held a crease like poly blend. OK gabardene. Stifling hot and dry-clean only. The Fun--Right Here Right Now: I like to buy fragrances that are fun, carefree, and easy on the wallet. Yeah. . . let's get loose. A large part of my collection is called 'Carefree and Fun' . Sometimes I like to smell Juicy Couture or Juicy Couture Amber Forest. Gucci 'Made to Measure' is another. So much fun, and no burden at all!! Nonetheless, I just blind bought an extrait concentration of Francesca Bianchi. Brand New: 'Luxe Calme Voluple'. $122 USD but it is extrait. It will be a total knockout I am so sure. (Maybe a crush?) I think she is so talented and creative. I love the 'Sticky Fingers' fragrance. So yeah, niche is fun too but you have to pay to play lots of times. Lecture over: Boss 'Intense' This scent is so delightful I am out of my mind with joy. It does not last too long. You could maybe hit it with Molecule 01 or 02. I don't bother. Who doesn't love a semi-quickie? The open is just a wonderful apple similar to my beloved Dunhill fragrances. The mid-note Lavender seems to be pretty high quality, and with the Rosemary there seems to be an Anise-like accord. It may be the Patchouli pitching in to it. To me the top note Sage stays in the mix the whole time. I could not detect Cinnamon or Mandarin on my own. Of course, the Patchouli is there and lasts alittle. Seems to have done an over-ride on Sandalwood by my snoot. I do not detect the Sandalwood so much unless it is in there with the Sage. Spray it like heck, tuck it in your man bag--hit it again. You can buy this right now--just to thank yourself. Just for fun. I love this Hugo Boss so much I will be sniffing around for other Hugo Boss.

I just picked this up after interesting in Hugo Boss family fragrance, after my hair pomade mentioned they use the smell from this house. My hair pomade its clean, fresh, sweet very appropriate for daily hospitality kind of work. I sniff a few boss fragrance (black one, OG one and Gold one) and this one is the one they put in the pomade, I know from first sniff. It’s open grandly, a bit confusing sort of fresh of the bath smell linger very few mins before it dry down into nice and sweet smell at base note it still sweet but deeper and start to be more woody note and remains there until disappear. Yes, I do agree it is quite generic fragrance. Nothing extreme special nor crafted. But it blend extremely well and very middle. Project but not dominant or make people question what you wearing. I also test other fragrance before buy from woody aquatic type (CK eternity, Issi fushion, Aqua di Gio and Bvlgari pour homme exteme) this have no personality but still got me sniffing, there is something about that sweet clean scent that I go for it. I would try this if you looks for mass, welcoming, clean, sweet and unproblematic but a bit more still upbeat and refine for office or hospitality environment where That fragrance should not be extremely presented. I wouldn’t use this as date or night time. It might feel out of place. I would keep this for daily ware fragrance for work. On body it dries I got 4-5 hours, on shirt it all day. Given the EDP. It’s work more like EDT. I use this as office-ware only. Edit 1 - written on Nov 16, 2022 I leave previous review on April 2022, when I was entering the fragrance hole. I venture few fragrances, now - I just stock this up the bottle of 100 ml. It just clean, sweet, uplifting, relax and addictive. Orange & Apple is uplifting as hell while Lavender makes it extremely relaxing. When it dries down - it's become thick wood, oilier side. There's mild ambroxan presents silently background makes it more intense but not dramatic. It's a daily day-time clean blue scent for easy-going personality. office wear, casual jeans, hang-out - this smells fresh and works well. No bummer. It's my daily work scent now. 8/10 (reduce point for longevity)

Bought this on airport and picked this one over sauvage edp and acqua di gio profumo. During that time, the top notes and middle note are pleasant to my nose could be different from the other 2 fragrance. Fast forward to present, I was still contemplating if I did the right choice or should have bought the sauvage edp, the opening is a little harsh, smells like synthetic and alcoholic, there's some odd smell every now and then that I could sniff but at the same time calming, I think this lavender scent is throwing me a little bit since I dislike the lavender scent specially on soaps or air spray. The wood notes are fine, reminds me of a breezy morning on high altitude summer getaway where you want to sit on a porch and sip some coffee. Overall, when I smell this on myself, it kinda confuse me, other people smell like it's alright or just fine like generic response, but I think the sillage of this one is great because I spray this on my room in the morning before bath and a pleasant smell when I step on my room hereafter, which is why this fragrance confuses me. Performance on skin is average, after 3 or 5 hours the scent is just a skin scent, whereas it perform and smells great on your clothes and will last a day. The projection and sillage is average, I could say 1st hour the projection is moderately good then on 2hd hour, moderate projection and the sillage then becomes skin scent after. For me not ideal for blazing hot day fragrance where you want to refresh yourself, this is more like to chill and relax type scent on moderate temperature where you can feel some cool wind or breeze every now and then.

OK, this perfume has both strong sideas and pathetic sides. I am from Russian Federation, so here it goes: Strong sides: 1. It smells somewhat like pen's ink. Not post "Fontane Pen", but ol' good BiC-14 or Erich Krause gel one. 2. It goes REALLY well with Boss Bottled design: a bottle which actually can be used, actually repurposed as a stamp to seal the deals! 3. It smells of age group 40-49 OR smells like a businessman who has to be serious, focused and unforgiving to clerk's mistakes. Yes, it does smell like "nothing personal" AND "just business" somehow. No "sweet-sweet!" scents colognes used to have. Yet its not chockingly untasty. Pathetic sides: 1. It's ... somewhat Axe-ish in terms of smelling generic. It smells as if my clothes got lavender smell (scented naphtalene balls to scare off moths) and i washed myself with apple-scented soap. Have they made Infinite without apple notes, it would be much less vulgar. 2. You know, the name "Infinite" for thos Boss B. is the worst -- the gold-plated "Infinite" letters sound "mystique", "elegant" and "smooth". But this one is BOLD, as in opposed to "smooth", or "elegant"-as-in-improving-existing-style; no. CONCLUSION: very "challenger"-like smell -- in business, or in sport; but despite being not enigmatic, it is presented as one. ADDITIONAL INFO: my Infinite looks blue in daylight, but looks like it has purple-ish tint if I use artificial light to look at it. Just like pen's ink. Have they jokingly labelled it "Release the Kraken!" or "Well Inked Stamp", it would be warmly welcomed, rather than rejected by the blind-buying folks.

Oh boy where do I start with this fragrance lol? OK let’s get it out the way yes this smells similar to (Dior Sauvage) and I also noticed on the dry down that it reminds me of (Zara night 1). That being said this smells like a better version of either of those two fragrances if you ask me. I love (Dior Sauvage) as much as the next guy but I must be honest having to smell it every time I step out to a bar or club scene or even passing someone in the mall I can no longer say it is unique. With (Boss Bottled Infinite) I feel you get to go down the same road but end up splitting to a different track. Still the same great fresh vibe you get but in my opinion this is fresher and a little lighter on the spices that are present in (Dior Sauvage). This smells like the man we all aspire to be, fresh, cool, progressive, confident, and handsome all in a bottle. This is going to be a great fragrance for you to wear around and leave a trail while you pass people by and will most certainly be a complement getter. If you’re looking for a lady pleaser, something nice to wear around and be a signature scent, look no further lol. To summit up this is a great fragrance if you’re the type that likes to keep it simple yet elegant and unique, dress it up in a suit or wear it with a white shirt and blue jeans and a nice watch, either way it will suit you perfectly. 10/10 fragrances My current favorite ;)
