Boss Bottled Night

It opens with a very aromatic and clean character. It clearly feels like a lavender-dominant fragrance, accompanied by very subtle citrus nuances and a base of spices and slightly dark woods. The sensation that lingers in the nose is fresh, powdery—probably because of the violet—and extremely clean. In my opinion, it does not feel generic at all. It also has a very subtle sweetness, almost hidden deep within the composition. It is a very masculine fragrance, although I feel that it leans toward a classic style inspired by the 1980s. It does not really smell like Drakkar Noir, but it gives me that same feeling of classic, aromatic, old-school masculinity. Despite what its name might suggest, Boss Bottled Night can work perfectly well as an everyday fragrance. During the drydown, it leaves behind a clean, fresh, musky sensation with a slightly airy or ozonic quality. It is masculine and sexy in its own way, while still being serious, controlled, and discreet enough for daily wear, whether at school, in the office, or during a casual outing. I wish I had discovered this fragrance when I was just starting high school. I feel like it would have been an absolute compliment magnet back then.

Dark, spicy, woods. Opens quite rich and elegant. It's dark and has some spice, mainly cardamom. Is a little fresh, very woody. Also a little aromatic and soapy. Maybe some tobacco? Has a faint citrus note (orange rind,) alongside vanilla. Gets woodier. Becomes musty, has some light "mossy" notes. Has a grassy aroma too, the oakmoss gradually gets stronger. Becomes a little powdery, cardamom spices increase before it becomes a faint, musky skin-scent. Puts me in mind of the English countryside at dusk. Masculine scent that's good for dates and evening wear year round. Winter/autumn days this'll be fine also. Suits a guy aged 20-60(ish.) People below have commented that it has been out for over a decade but still smells contemporary and I believe it was ahead of it's time back in 2010. Performance is fine; decent projection for a couple of hours, lasts as a musky skin scent 5-6hrs. Above it says it's sexy without trying too hard, I'd agree. In fact it's great all round without trying too hard. I love it.

This is the fragrance that got me into this perfume industry (if I recall correctly) My mate wore it one day, and it smelt amazing. That violet and lavender note hitting me for the first time, just WOW! Then I forgot all about it. One day I found my self in a duty-free shop causally browsing until I saw it again. 200ml for £40 practically a steal... The lavender, violet and powered notes, ugh, they are AMAZING! They have literally captured nighttime/night out in a bottle. If you told me what nighttime in a bottle I would make or pick this it’s perfect the DNA everything down to the littlest thing. Boss has perfectly captured the night out vibe in a bottle. This gets complements, I don’t know why this doesn’t glazed enough by influencers it’s perfect for young men it’s a beast (no problems with longevity or sillage) get complements when partying/clubbing whatever. Go blind buy it, trust me you won’t regret it, A literal 10/10.

This is a shower gel scent done right and it deserves more positive attention. It’s simple and linear but it just works! Musky violet and lavender with some light smokey woods, and I absolutely love it! The only downside with Boss Bottled Night is you must spray this pretty heavy (a dozen sprays minimum including on clothes) to get any kind of performance out of it. Even with doing that the sillage will still be light but noticeable. I can smell a little bit of a “gasoline” note in the background but it’s not nearly as pungent as in something like Fahrenheit, it’s toned down by comparison but gives this scent a very nice masculine edge. This is a perfect evening out of the shower scent that you can just spray all over yourself to your heart’s content and feel clean and relaxed. This was released way back in 2010 but still smells modern to me. I’d love a parfum or elixir release of this with better longevity and projection.

This is a top notch astonishing combination! one of the prettiest floral musky violet and lavender I have tried, both of which have scientific calming affects on the brain lavender can help with relaxation and memory retention. it has become one of my favorites to wear on the daily it's very versatile too.. settles as a dry woody musky slightly light soapy violet, while the performance is average the price per ml of this bottle is great and I think is worth it. I was looking for the male alternative to Halloween Halloween due to the amazing aquatic clean violet there, I think this is perfect for me glad I succeeded. Really love this scent, and it's something I reach for quite frequently, especially for a night out or some other occasion. The violet and lavender mixed with the birch/woody notes is extremely pleasant and very masculine. This scent is at its best on a summer night, especially since the heat helps boost the performance a bit, since my only gripe with it is that it's a pretty weak performer on longevity and sillage. But all in all, I think this is a fantastic scent that's pretty underrated out of the Boss Bottled collection. It doesn't hurt that you can find it in the 30-40 dollar range these days. Just be aware that it might not be for you if you prefer louder fragrances, as this one is a bit more subtle. 8/10

My absolute favorite fragrance of all. 10/10 I just love this shit The scent itself, the dark blue bottle, the name. Nothing like this is available on the market—it’s completely original, and the price is great. I just wish it would smell the same the whole time, without the scent pyramid. The opening is incredibly, fresh and unique. I love birch note so much ! I I don't know how to describe it—it's like twinkling stars, sparks falling from the dark blue sky. That's how I perceive the scent I live in Central Europe, France is literally "close by" , so those perfumes don't have to travel far to get to me so I have no issues with longevity or anything like that.

Very sexy, masculine and powdery fragrance. I find this fragrance to be surprisingly unique as I haven't smelt anything similar to this (although I'm sure there are). A fantastic woody and powdery scent that my wife loves. This fragrance seems extremely underrated and I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone that doesn't like this scent. Performance could be better but I would say this fragrance is more suited for a date night setting so it will last long enough and is fit for purpose. You can pick this fragrance up pretty inexpensively and there are always deals for this so it its not already in your collection, I recommend you pick it up.

This is good. People in the comments talking about the dry down being bad, but this fragrance isn't that evolved, it's a linear fragrance there is no dry down. It smells the same from when you put it on to when it fades away. It's a classic cologne/after shave smell. Masculin and humble. It's a date night type cologne. It was one of the first colognes I ever got, along with Lacoste White and A&F Fierce, and for that reason I'll probably always like it. Years later I've gone through many different fragrances, designers and niche, and this one still remains on my shelf as one of my go-to's.

One of the early perfumes I have used, and I have got compliments every time. Boss perfumes are my favorites, and I was quite surprised to see not among the top perfumes. Boss Bottled has been my all-time favorites, and I have always had one bottle, and I never run out of BB. It stays long for me, and I have got compliments even in a nightclub with all the crowd. In fact, a funny story, I was in an elevator with a lady, and she actually closed her eyes and smelled it. It was so obvious. I know it sounds straight out of a movie, but it did happen :)

Very bright crisp fresh and at the same time rich green aromatic Violet Leaf (not Violet Flower) fragrance. Even though the description says Birch, it is indeed leathery, but not smoky as you would expect. It only has a soft suede-like background leather note. Not to mention that there is very little to no Lavender. The point is, it doesn't smell as the notes breakdown suggests and you need to sample it to see for yourself. The performance is slightly above average for an EDT and an ordinary spraying routine would be enough in my opinion.

A real nighttime fragrance. I would spray this before a date, a night out with the boys, and generally anytime the sun goes down. It’s different in a sense that it couldn’t be compared to anything else, and it does real in compliments however longevity isn’t too strong with this cologne and it definitely needs a good few sprays and a re-spray if possible. Fairly feminine with the lavender notes but then dries down into a nice, masculine woody vibe.

Opening is not bad but then it start, lovely birch is gone and, oh no after minutes it star smell like a BUNCH OF CHINESE TREMBLY FISHING LURES COVERED IN VOMIT (my opinion) Musk is bad placed breaks through whole scents pyramid, destroy everything, when saw this scent i like it, bootle is grat name too, but that smell, it should be like this Musk on top, Birch on bottom or middle. EDIT: Its just need maceration, it became better

In my opinion, this is an amazing perfume for a date night, it's incredible. This perfume is the perfect mix of the seducer and the manly man while remaining classy. However what makes it a 9/10 is that it can also be worn at any time of the year, for me it can make a man feel confident and that is quite rare, I recommend it so much for the real ambitious men. I don't really understand the negative opinions about this fragrance.

My favourite blue scent still. It is less juvenile, to my nose, that the ambroxan heavy blues that saturate the market still Zzzzz. I get aquatic whole plant violet i.e leaf and flower, with smoky, tarry woods. A fair bit of musk added in too. It's just sooooo good. Shame about the performance, but it's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be and I bought my bottle late 2021. You can find the 200ml for a great price too.

Joya de la que ya poco se habla. Su baja duración y proyección son su punto debíl. Buen precio incluso por la versión de 200ML Para el día a día en ambientes laborales, salidas, alguna cita dado que no proyecta y molesta mucho o en noches de verano y primavera. Ultra Varonil, informal/semi formal y muy atractivo perfume. El preferido de mi esposa de toda mi colección. Lo compraría siempre.

love this. Wish it lasted longer but for an EDT it does ok. 3 hours & catch whiffs 6 hrs later. Versatile, different, Quality Violet, not harsh gas vibe like in Mercedes Man & Intense clones of Farenheit & Aqua. This has violet similar to Zegna Uuomo & is best violet frag I have found. Quality is good & for $50, This is a steal. If you like any Fahrenheit, get this.....OK in heat.

I like this one a lot. A simple fresh violet/floral scent. Not very complicated, and not much to write about. Performance isn't good. It lasts about 4 hours, and a skin scent after 5 min. This is good for a post shower pick me up. You can find 200ml bottles for relatively cheap. I wouldn't spend too much on it. I'd say this is one I just enjoy wearing for my own pleasure.

If you’re here thinking about picking this up DO IT! Amazing fragrance I first came across this perfume in London circa 2011 and it still slaps till this day. I’m not a huge boss fragrance lover but this is one of the few everyone should have in their collection. It’s also an EdT so you do what you will with that info.
