Boss Bottled Striking Lavender

Finally. A men's fragrance. For men. Masculine and manly. @snowatom put it as clearly and concisely as could be. This is exactly the kind of fragrance I think of when I hear the words 'cologne for men'. And it is absolutely, positively, fan-fucking-tastic. Soapy, after-shave, shampoo, shower gel, all rolled up into one big bottle of awesomeness. Initially I was hoping for something lavender-y like the Caron line, but they've been doing lavender for almost 100 years in men's fragrance so maybe that is too lofty a bar for Boss to reach. This fragrance, however, is exactly what fragranceland has needed and been missing in mainstream men's perfumery. Makes me think of Boss Bottled Infinite, but done better. Like an Infinite intense or something. Performance is average. I'll buy 5 bottles. And spray more. Stop with the apple pie. The vanilla frosting. The syrup and pancakes. Give me this all day, every day. Concerned about the price? Just wait a few weeks, this will be cheap as chips on discounters. Thank you, Hugo Boss.

Just sampled at Sephora. This was clearly different from all the other men's fragrances in the store. The lavender is so sharp, tweaked to extreme. I was intrigued but worried it may be cloying to wear. As it dries down a masculine scent appears but the lavender is present and still extremely sharp. I want to give it a wear before anything else but I couldn't resist sharing my experience. Edit: This is nice. An easy to wear fragrance that does the job well. It's handsome and comforting. There goes my money. Edit: I've never bothered deciphering a fragrance ingredients list but there's much more going on than what's listed for the fragrance notes like, bergamot, lemon peel, rose, cinnamon. It's fancier than it appears. I guess the citrus is what makes it so sharp.

Very nice. As a fan of lavender, I got what I wanted, for sure. This to me a bit of a compromise between Percival, Lavande 31 and Solar Lavender. It's got that bright lavender opening from Solar Lavender (which I love) but also has the musky punch of Lavande 31 and the metallic/mineral tinge of Percival. So, an evolution/refinement of the Fierce DNA. Longevity is surprisingly decent, at least as long lasting as Percival on my skin and projects decently for the first hour or two. The Bottled line is probably my favorite designer line and this is another good addition to it. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does what it does well and delivers on the "striking lavender" promise. A great summer banger and easy office wear.

Exactly as advertised - I sprayed this on today and it is potent lavender. Both my wife & son liked it and said it smelled like my longtime signature lavender scent L'Occitan. I prefer a more cedar base over this moss base but that's my only criticism. It absolutely lasted all day but the sillage became intimate after a couple of hours. Definitely doesn't deserve all the hate - this is a safe buy if you enjoy masculine lavender. If someone doesn't like lavender why would you wear this? I don't like coconut scents but I don't post reviews saying they're terrible because I know I don't like them. And it has zero resemblance to Boss Bottled Beyond (review below) which is ginger and leather 🤔

Finally, a fragrance without tonka, vanilla, tobacco, or leather. A genuinely fresh direction – and honestly, how a men’s fragrance should smell. No sugar overload, no dessert vibes... just a great scent that actually smells like a perfume, not a pastry. Maybe this is the beginning of the end for the endless wave of overly sweet vanilla fragrances marketed to men. One can hope. I truly hope this one gets the recognition it deserves and becomes a permanent part of the collection – not just another limited edition that disappears too soon. I received a test sample, and after wearing it for two days, I simply couldn’t go another day without owning it. It’s just awesome.

This fragrance is an absolute safe buy. It feels very mature, gentlemanly, and genuinely pleasant to wear. The lavender is most noticeable during the first 10–20 minutes, but after that it becomes more mineral, clean, and fresh. My girlfriend can still smell it even after a full day, so I would say the performance and longevity are actually pretty good. To me, this is one of those fragrances that is not extremely loud or attention-seeking, but it is very versatile, classy, and easy to enjoy. I bought the 200 ml bottle for €115, which I think is a great deal. Overall, I can definitely recommend this fragrance.

I'm sorry but this fragrance is great in what it does. It's a 100% safe choice for everyday wear. Can't decide what to wear in the morning? Striking Lavender! Going to be getting sweaty doing manual labor? Striking Lavender! The scent overall is masculine showered clean. It would be nice if it would last longer but maybe then it wouldn't evaporate so cleanly when you get sweaty? When I first got Striking Lavender the opening was crazy harsh but not anymore. Did I get used to it or did it macerate from use? I don't know? I reach for this bottle without much thought. It just does what it does really well.

Very nice and safe blind buy Lavender for men, trust me it’s works on Women noses, but since i have 2 bottles of Issey Miyake Solar Lavender, it is gonna be overlap to have Masculine Lavender, Issey Miyake same SPL with this but the scent profile is very natural and subtle polite suits me better. But Striking Lavender perfect on Hot Humid Summer rather than Solar Lavender that perfect on Spring. Striking Lavender more into Barbershop vibes, meanwhile Solar Lavender is giving you like sitting on Lavender Field with Fresh river on the side with warm breeze air.

Not an amazing must have. The scent is as simple as a bodywash and nobody compliments you on your body wash except maybe whoever you're having sex with. It performs on the low end of moderate. It's an everyday, casual, spring-summer scent. I like it. I can't wait to see what Eddie has to say. He may not even bother.😄 Edit: During physical activity it performs very well in that it doesn't turn into something off putting. It just evaporates more quickly. That puts this into sport cologne category.

As a fan of fougeres and colognes akin to CK Eternity, this one definitely has the sparkling, clean profile I enjoy wearing as an office worker. I think I like this genre the most because it reminds me of my dad. Striking Lavendar is an awesome cologne with great longevity (4 sprays on undershirt and 2 on dress shirt and neck area) with around 6 hours before the scent slowly tapers off over the next few hours.

This stuff is so damn good. And under-the-radar, as well. Checks all the boxes. Versatile. People-pleasing. Easy to wear. Affordably priced. Adequate performance. Masculine. I can't honestly see a direct resemblance to anything in the reminds me of. Drawback? Limited edition, so once it is done it will be hard to find. Buying a couple backup bottles now.

I definitely smell violet here although its not mentioned in the notes. Any way, this smells very close to Roja dove Oceania but stronger and a bit metallic which makes it more masculine. the performance seems to be solid too. I like it since I love oceania and i think this is a good release from boss if you like lavender violet scents.

This perfume smells wonderful. Easy to use. But please, let's not make comments that could confuse people. This perfume smells exactly 0% similar to Roja Oceanía. When I say 0, I mean 0, not even a 1. I'm just saying this to avoid confusion. They are two completely different and opposite perfumes. With absolutely nothing in common.

I am lucky enough to already have had the opportunity to try and wear this fragrance (working in the industry).. and WOW! this smells great! Its beautifully sophisticated and gives the vibes of a true gentleman's cologne. Definitely 5 stars from me and the perfect 'spring time' fragrance when launched later in the year.

With 30% off this was a no brainer ! All the people saying basic are not wrong. But sometimes basic is perfect and this is that. Mineral lavender woodsy perfection. Fresh and Clean with no vanilla is rare these days. In a Sea of gourmands this is the boat I wanna be in this summer.

A nice fresh, clean fragrance which is office and gym friendly. A nice mineral note throughout with the lavender and woods. The projection is pretty good off my skin. A quick spritz of this after having a fresh trim and beard shape at the barbers is all good with me.

Really dig this one. It’s very lavender and very masculine in my mind. My wife really loves it. I feel like it can layer well with other stuff I have too. It’s light fresh and all around a great addition to my collection. Super happy with this pick up.

A modern fougere for 2026. Smells like Old Spice Whitewater... Opening with a fresh, sporty, blue vibe, it later settles into a mossy, woody base. How can I not love it?

This is a great classic fragrance, as more people get this and start to smell it, It’s gonna skyrocket up the charts.
