I agree with the fact that the opening is quite soapy but give this a shot because after 15-20 minutes it begins to get better. In fact, the dry down is so breathe-taking that it's impossible not to feel the rest of the notes after that soapy rose opening. I still keep the last 8-10 sprays. I adore it. It definitely has something different. It's not a pure soapy floral fragrance because if it was, I wouldn't love it so much. I can pick the rose note but it's just something different. Alluring. I can definitely smell tangerine and a little bit black currant harmonizing with the rose. Each sniff is head-turning. OMG!! Floral fruity but not like any other girly or sweet ones. We're talking about a woman here. Extremely feminine. Elegantly seductive. Ravishing! Admittedly, I'm still considering getting another bottle. I usually like balsamic,vanilla,sweet and so on type of perfumes. This is the only rosy one that I'm in love with. It's so special,so unique for me. My first love. I feel like I couldn't have been in love with any other rosy scent anymore.That's definitely one of the most attractive perfumes I've ever had. Btw, lasts well. Especially on clothes. I remember smelling it on my clothes the day after. I think it just makes feel irresistible and sexy. I first bought my first bottle with my ex in Paris. He was like WOW. My current boy friend likes almost every scent on me but this one is the one to which he's attracted the most. The way he acts and talks changes.l ol. Unlike the common thought, I would usually wear it at night but I could wear it anytime though.

This is my ultimate happy perfume. It makes me feel pretty, feminine and joyous! My taste in perfumes is mainly into florals and I dislike musks and super fruity perfumes. I also do not like sporty spicy scents. So being a firmly floral person, this is my absolute favourite. It is one of those pretty smells which just makes you feel nice, pretty and cheerful. It isnt too girly or too womanly so goes with any age group- I would put it more as a Sweet Feminine scent. I don't know if this would make sense, but this is what I would imagine a Virgo woman or a Pisces woman to wear- maybe an Aries, Cancer, Libra or a Capricorn on occasion too. Its not energetic enough or lustful or complicated enough for the others. Its generally mild, has a light sillage and lasts on me for upto 2-3 hours and for around 4-6 hours on clothes. I find it perfect for daytime wear specially for office etc. In one word, this is a "feminine" scent. Not sultry, seductive, or intriguing either. Its for those times when you just wanna smell good, for yourself and those around you but not try to attract attention. Its not too complicated with simple pleasant tones and hence, I would heartily recommend it, specially if you are gifting to someone. As a reference point for blind buy recommendations, other perfumes that I like are Dior J'Adore, Nina Ricci Premier Jour, Bvlgari Pour Femme, Burberry London, Kenzo Flower, etc. I love Dior Poison too but this isn't on the same plane as that.

I must say FEMME is a very lovely Hugo Boss fragrance. The only low point would be that it neither projects nor lasts, at least on me. The currant, rose and tangerine are prominent at the beginning, then they softly fade to a more delicate rose, freesia, apricot and lemon tree. If I were to pick the two strongest notes (and, again, this is on MY skin; your experience might vary), I'd say rose and tangerine. Not much of the "white flowers" or amber on me, but that's ok because the rest of the notes are just what I would be happy to settle for. Thankfully, no overbearing jasmine here, but I do miss the lily though. I'd wear FEMME in spring and fall, daytime but, since the sillage is really weak, it could probably work in the summer, too. Way too weak for winter, unless, maybe, you spray a lot. Wish it lasted longer but, on me, it's maybe 15 minutes til it starts to fade. I can still detect it about 1.5 hrs later but it's very, very weak. I might try to spray on a scarf, and see if that helps to make it last. Longevity: poor to weak, 1.5 hrs Sillage: soft, close to skin, no trail

Femme is fresh and very evocative of the time of its release, so for me this is a happy and nostalgic scent especially because I remember my sister owning this roughly around about 2006-2007 when it first launched. Its fresh in a "I stepped out of the shower, put on a clean shirt and spritzed on some perfume" kinda way, which isn't to me a bad thing and makes it very easy to wear in a variety of settings. The initial opening burst is bright and sparkling with some freesia and soft citruses from the tangerine note, a little black currant and some amber pop out a little during the dry down which add some extra depth along with some lily and rose that helps to flesh out the composition. Its simple, but sometimes its simple and uplifting that you want and this one hits the spot for me! Longevity is ok, I get about 4-6 hours from 4 spritzes and a light, airy silage. This is totally easy to wear year round for work or casually as a spring summer scent, it just makes me feel happy and transports me to a happier period of time. Future repurchase? yep!

When I first got this, there was this screechy note I can detect and don't like. I planned to give it away so I put it at the back of my clothes cabinet until I can find someone who can appreciate the scent. Not just anyone but someone special. This was about 2 months ago. Yesterday, I wanted to smell all my perfumes again (it makes me happy to do that 😊) and I was amazed by what the scent morphed into. Gone was the screechy note, it its place is this beautiful floral fragrance. And it blends beautifully with my skin chemistry. The cherry on top was it stays for hours on my skin! This earned its place among the top 3 in my collection along with Eternity (my favorite) and Tommy Girl. I'm finding out that freshies aren't for me, florals are! I'm waiting for my Giorgio Beverly Hills to arrive and will be ordering Sung Alfred Sung later today. Happy, happy, happy! 🌸

This fragrance has the most amazing opening! Fresh and tender, like a cool drop of dew rolling off a fuzzy pink rose petal, mixed with a soft aroma of sweet tangerine peel. But then...about half an hour later, it starts to smell kind of weird...someone below mentioned 'burnt skin'...yes, something like that, a very faint but detectable burnt-rubbery smell. I was so disappointed. This weird burnt note does not develop when I spray it on my clothes though (lasts ~5 hours on my clothes with decent soft-moderate sillage, perfect for summer), it stays clean and fruity-floral throughout, not in the typical girly way, but more feminine, tender, almost angelic. I have held off purchasing this because of how it dries down on my skin, and I'm still torn, I love the opening and first half hour so much. I'll just have to test this again some time soon.

This is a very comfortable perfume, and I mean that in a good way. I blind bought this but decided it was nothing to write home about, pleasant but rather boring. I started wearing it to work (in a hospital) because it is so inoffensive on my skin - floral but not too loud, sweet but not overpowering, light but not unnoticeable projection. But somehow without me noticing, it has become one of my favourite 'everyday' perfumes, that I will often turn to when I can't decide what to wear or if I'm in a hurry to get out the door and don't have time to search my wardrobe. It's even gotten me a few compliments, and I very rarely get comments on my perfume. Sometimes you just want a reliable 'nice' perfume, and for me this is one of those. The main drawback is lasting power, which is only a few hours for me.

This is my every day scent and ive been wearing it since it first came out, i don't agree that it's not long lasting as it's always lasted really well on my skin from 3-4 spritz which is all i ever apply in a day. Ive used it for nighttime wear and special occasions such as my wedding, intensifying the scent by applying more than usual. I love it because it is subtle, i am a firm believer that scent should only be smelt by yourself and those you allow close, not 10 minutes before you enter a room, plus the stronger scents tend to give me headache. I'm not one who can give you notes of the perfume or fancy talk about it but i never felt it was super girly or overly sweet, I'm certainly neither of those things and it suits me well. Will always buy more, i just hope it's never discontinued or I'll cry.

What an enchanting perfume! A fresh, floral, rosy, musky, and princess-like fragrance. It starts with a citrus note, which gradually gives way to the strong presence of freesia, which accompanies the perfume throughout its evolution, and then develops into a super fresh and musky pink rose, combined with all the white floral notes of jasmine and lily, making this perfume a delight and very delicate. The highlight of this perfume is truly the flowers, but in a very comfortable and captivating way. Nothing is overpowering in this perfume; it's soft, light, feminine, and conveys a feeling of freshness and an aura of romance. Good projection and lasting power of around 6 hours. Enchanted by the delicacy of this perfume.

I think people who love fragrance are usually either scent-introverts or scent-extroverts. The scent-extroverts enjoy a loud smell that projects and makes an impression, whether or not that impression is enjoyed by the others around isn't really as important as self-expression. They're always going to find a perfume like this one boring or ordinary. But I'm a scent-introvert. I detest loud scents that overpower rooms long after the person wearing it has left. I want something light and pretty to please myself and delight anyone who gets close enough to notice it. Femme is that kind of scent. It's a soft pretty floral and quite light. I love it. Very sad it was discontinued.

As the name suggests, this is an intensely feminine fragrance. I've had it in my collection for a long time. At times when I don't know what to wear I reach for this. It's soft, light, romantic and delicate but lasts for hours on my skin. The rose is prominent and although I'm not generally a fan of rose or bold white flowers, the fruit balances it out making it very wearable for me. Sometimes I think I keep it for nostalgic reasons only. I fell in love with it when I first tested it years ago and the guy I was then dating was going to buy it for me as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, the relationship ended before my birthday but I still got the perfume.

A bit soapy, slightly deep-bitter and floral scent. Nicely balanced, great for daily wear. I generally dislike every single middle note component of this perfume, but somehow they all come together very nicely in this perfume. Unlike most apricot bases, this perfume’s apricot notes lack the bitter almond and pit essence. The apricot in this one sounds like a true ripe apricot fruit with just a hint of bitterness- reminds me of growing up with apricot orchards. I’m always annoyed when apricot scents smell like cheap amaretto. Overall, I’d say it’s a safe blind buy for someone who enjoys soapy and floral scents.

I was reading the comments of other users saying that this perfume doesn't last on their skin, but on me it's all the opposite, i sprayed it on my wrists early this morning and can still smell it almost 9 hours later. The scent is floral with a touch of citrus, never overpowering or artificial. I can definitely notice here rose, tangerine, freesia, jasmine and lemon tree. It's so nice that my mom, who usually doesn't like any perfume cause she says they cause her headaches, smelled Hugo Boss Femme on me and said it was beautiful, i couldnt belive it! Oh and my boyfriend thinks the same. I love this perfume :)

This smells like Chanel Chance Eau Tendre and Lancome Miracle had a baby together... It is wonderful and light. You can definitely wear this during the day, especially during spring and summer. This would be a safe scent for the office or school too since it isn’t overpowering. I blind bought this bottle based on the notes here on Fragrantica and I’m SO glad I did! If you’re a fan of Chance Eau Tendre, Lancome Miracle or any of the Marc Jacob Daisy’s then give this one a try. This is going to be my new favorite this summer for sure ❤️

I was out shopping and looking for a new perfume. The SA sprayed some on my arm and I shopped for a little longer to let the perfume work its magic. As I got back into the car everyone said what a fantastic scent. The more I smelled it the better it became. I ran back into the shop and bought the biggest bottle on sale. It is a wonderful soft floral perfume, very feminine and beautiful. Longevity could be better as well as silage but it is such a beautiful perfume I will happily spray away and repurchase.

One of the most beautiful scents I know. Was my signature scent for several years, and it has a unique floral accord that feels like early summer and fleeting clouds over crisp birch foliage. Maybe the ”lemon tree” note provides that characteristic edge that makes it so much more than rose + freesia? However, if you have a tendency to become anosmic you might have trouble with this one - sprayed on clothes others will probably smell it after up to 6 hours, though.

This smells like rose, no faff no fuss, just a nice bunch of roses with maybe a few decorative sprigs in it. I don't believe this is a bad thing, cheaper rose perfumes and sprays smell rosy but not as real roses do, and expensive rose perfumes add layers and other complimentary notes in with it and can sometimes end up very overpowering because of it. If you want a simple inoffensive rose perfume that could be worn by anyone at any time then this one is for you.

This is a very feminine smell. Makes you scent like a bunch of fresh flowers after a little rain. Every time I wore it, I received compliments. I wore it to the workplace, on a date, then to brunch. You can smell each of the three tones separately. This is my everyday smell, and I love how subtle it is. The perfume is quite light and lovely. Very comfy, feminine, and invigorating. The performance is average, but the aroma is great. I'm in love with it!

Why I discover this gem so late? This represents the beauty of women, it's 'gentle sweetness'. The combination of oriental lily and rose is very beautiful. Soft, mildly sweet throughout the phase. I don't get any fruits although tangerine and blackcurrant are listed in the notes. Boss Femme is very lovely, beautiful, feminine and it has the strength of gentleness that makes this perfume so special for me.

There is something soft and lovely about this smell in the same tone of Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan. This is not a dupe by any means, I just feel like they would hang out in the same social circles, if that makes any sense. Feminine and classy. It is very soft, soothing and inoffensive. It is a more mature scent without heading into the 'vintage' category of scents. I'm quite fond of it, really.

i loved it, love it, and still loving it..whoever says this scent smells bad must have anosmia (^_^)..the smell is femininely devine, longevity is moderate for me, maybe its because i have normal-oily combination skin..it must have a magical effect coz it seems to light me up with its gentle and (calling it) breezy smell and using it often when im feeling down and super gloomy..

I love this perfume, particularly as a daytime scent. It’s like wrapping myself in a fragrant cashmere shawl. I wear it just for myself during the day. If I am going out in the evening I’ll wear something with more impact. Yes it’s a soft, second skin perfume with little sillage or longevity; but it’s notes are so appealing to my nose, that I just don’t care.

Male review. A very flowery, youthful and charming fragrance. Definitely for a young woman, perfect for a daytime date. Very girly and casual, bear it mind. Not to use in a formal setting or office. This is not the "sexy" type of female fragrance, this is the "innocent" girl type of scent. Overall, 8/10 if worn by the right woman, with the right toilette.

I keep buying it, but not quite realizing why. Despite it's mediocrity. It's just like that best friend turned lover. Always there, reliable, occasionally overlooked but still reliable for unforseen occasions. It's that trusted favourite, that I rely on for uncertain occasions. It's just SAFE. It works for me. Its light enough for hot humid days in summer

This juice color says everything.. It's a romantic rose with fruits accent.. Mostly black currant. Freesia and tangerine accompany them as a double date. It's fresh, sweet butnot cloying, light but noticable. Sillage is good for this lightness ( 1 ft), it lasts me 6 hours minimum, quite longlasting for this lightness. A beautiful fragrance..

This is such a great summery romantic scent , I get a lot of freesia which is my most loved flower. The down side is the poor longevity and if you have the full size bottle it will be heavy to carry around with the top on it so an atomiser might be a good thing to use with this as you will need to reapply several times through the day

I don't know what people are talking about. This is a beautiful feminine scent. Makes you smell like a bouquet of fresh flowers in a light shower of rain. I have received compliments every time I wore it. I wore this to office, date night, and brunch. You can smell all 3 notes individually. Safe blind buy too.

I love this, I picture Pam Beesly from The Office wearing this. That being said this is a really pretty floral, fresh scent. It really smells like a bright sunny day in 2000s, back when life was easier. I find a lot of comfort and serenity in this and will always have a soft spot for it and own a bottle of it.

This reminds me of the summer before I was in my first year of university up until the beginning of my second year there. It is fresh (like me in my first year), rosey and quite stong if you spray too much, so you have to be sparing. I miss this perfume's lovely clean drydown.

My beloved perfume since high school. Even though I am more into niche perfumes nowadays but I always have hugo boss femme in my closet. Absolutely stunning. It gives the sense of an independent woman. I love it.

This perfume is very warm and Femme! I just can't praise it enough. It is indeed romantic and lovely. Very classy, high quality perfume. Lasting power is moderate on me and I wear this in winter time mostly.

I am surprised there's no pepper in it. For some reason I get super strong pepper-y scent trail from this one. Well, it's not bad but it kind of makes the scent heavier than I'd like.
