Hugo Energise

This was my secret weapon. Love it still. Yes.. 2/3 gone and I still reach for it. Watery/sweet/clean/fresh and blended so well. I would never call it spicey even though others say it’s spicey. Either way the ladies seem to love this juice. Clubbing.. clean cut.. white tee.. this stuff hits. And not in a Paco 1 mill look at me kinda way. It’s a I know I smell good.. but I don’t know kinda way. Swag. Spring and summer juice only. If you’re clubbing you can do it in the winter. Casual, school, maybe work.. nothing formal imo. Daytime or night time. Age is high school and up. Maybe college and up. I would’ve rocked it in high school but that’s just me. Yup.. young juice man. Projection is ok, longevity is bad, drydown is so dang good. It hardly lasts which is the only bad thing about it. Terrible longevity in heat.. like my skin drinks it. Very linear, which I love. I got a lot of compliments from this one.. but it also has to fit your style imo. This and boss bottled tonic are my two favorite from Boss. Killer summer juices. Same vein but different body. I’m running low but I’ll reload when I’m out. Amazing juice.

When I first got this as a teenager in 2005 it was my favourite fragrance thus far and one that made me take notice of fragrances in general. I remember it being so good and lasting so long. This is definitely one for the youth and into twenties I would say. It has a boyish charm and the feel of a happy go lucky down to earth lad who just likes to smell good. I recently bought a bottle of this again, so around 14 years since it's release and it is clear it has been reformulated and is now much weaker than it was. The same notes and scent are still there but the longevity and sillage has been taken away. The notes I get from them this are aqua, citrus and resin followed by a slight peppery, rubber twang. Either way I still love it. I am just disappointed that it is a shadow of what it was. Hugo Boss, please make this back into the strength it was. Kindest regards.

I have a big collection of fragrances ....200 + to be precise and I find myself reaching out to this one quite often. There is something very special and unique about this scent DNA. I love it. Is it ground breaking? NO! Is it better than most of the others? NO! BUT, it has its own character and the name ENERGISE fits it very well! I feel energized every time I spray it on myself. Also, if compliments from the opposite gender is what you are looking for then let me tell you they definitely like this fragrance. I get complimented on this fragrance more than on some of high end and niche fragrances from my collection. Overall, it is a great freshie with a character! Give it a try! You've got nothing to lose at that price point!

By far ONE OF THE best fragrances I've smelt. This one was recommended to me by my girlfriend. She's in love with this fragrance. This one is a simple Citrusy, Sweet-Spicy, mildly Peppery smelling fragrance; the notes being very balanced all throughout. To me it doesn't smell "synthetic" at all. It lasts really really long, and I can even smell it on my washed clothes! The sillage, however, is just about moderate, which works well for a fragrance that's this distinctive. People sitting right next to you will get a hint of it and know that you're smelling really good. This, however, may vary from person to person. Summing up, it's something that you should definitely try at least once.

absolutely loved this in high school. not that much now. it's a fresh sweet citrus to me that is better in cooler days than your hot summer ones. contradictory to what the name implies to me, this doesn't seem sporty. it is a great casual, day out scent. perfect when you just want to hang out with your friends and have fun. date scent? it can be. but it's not that sensual though , so just give your girl a great time outside the sheets with this. definitely signature scent worthy. verdict: energizing? not really. smells good? it's freaking great!! one word? FUN.

Finaly i bought this one yesterday! This one is very long lasting and the good thing about it is that you can smel it on yourself. Some perufmes you spray and you cannot smel it but this one makes you know that you stil smeling good ;) My girlfriend realy enjoyed it and she prefers it then YSL Rive Gauche that i have been using. It will you make fell good, smel good and have more confidence. The smel is just unic, it will not remind you of nothing else you have smeled.

I wonder why not so many love for this perfume. For me, this is superb. The opening might be sweet to some but it's only for half an hour until the magical aromatic spicy accord emerge and keep lingering around. The longevity is constant 7 hours +. This is of the perfume that have the clear transition between the opening and the base note. Give it a try, safe for blind buy. Energise just suits the names.

This is one of my first perfume ever and I've been using it since then. I usually use this perfume almost on any occasions. It suits well to any clothing style and doesn't get that bad smell after few hours where it slowly fades away. I prefer you should take this with you and refresh it whenever you feel like sweating a lot. Other than, great perfume.

I Have worn this since i was a teenager and it is definitely underrated. A unique fresh and spicy smell that is great in the warmer weather. I love how distinct this smell is - it is not to be confused with anything else and it has an oiliness to it which helps it last for a while without projecting in an intrusive way. For me this is a 4/5.

Doubling down the last comment from @YazMrX. I can't find anything similar! That thing was not just smelling good it was performing very unexpectedly well! Still have an old bottle from ~2011-2012 and really looking for something similar. It was my scent when I first met my wife, and we have a ton of memories attached.

I find it rare that is scent isn't considered one of the best if not the best by Hugo Boss. The fresh spicy, woody, citrus like scent is very different from the usual and it has become one of my favorites. My only negative comment of it is that though it lasts for a pretty good time, it wont surpass 4+ hours...

My signature fragrance in high school, before my obsession with fragrances. I still remember all the compliments i had when i hugged the girls. This fragrance lasted forever on clothes not on skin. Really recommended for the younger ages. I loved going back to it just to reminisce.

This is a great fragrance! To describe it I would use the words 'sharp', 'fresh', and 'character'. What amazed me the most by it was its unique ability to wake me up in the morning and keep me in a good up beat mood all day - have yet to find another which has that result.

Best men's fragrance ever!!! I once bought this for a former lover and haven't been able to find a fragrance that smells better than this one for a men. Too bad I can't wear it for myself. I'm not the girl that wears a mens fragrance. Too bad :'( !

Apenas la conocí el día de ayer y me encantó, el olor es muy bueno, fresco dulce, un poco cítrico a la salida y luego en el secado queda algo atalcado. No había olido algo así antes. La seguiré usando a ver cómo me va.

Pink pepper and citrus are the first notes to emerge, and they last well. The dry down has a sweet note. A very likable scent. perfect for relaxed sunny days. One of my favourite Boss fragrances.

One of the first perfumes I owned (around 2005). This used to be the 'bomb'! On me, it lasted the whole day - gets better when I sweat! Not sure if they have changed the formulation.

First love perfume. My first compliments was from a strpper long ago. Never stop getting compliments since. sadly it been reformulated and its hard to get in store nowadays.

This is the one I reach for as an everyday scent. It's a great woody, cool-guy type scent with a soft edge to it. It smells great. Masculine.

I love this scent it smells quite energetic and a bit musky.It's perfect for men. I think this fragrance goes well in the night.

Frescor e jovialidade. Vai bem em qualquer ocasião. Projeção curta.

Puedo decir que la primera vez que tuve este perfume mi madre me lo trajo de un viaje a mis 21 años. Universitario, con hugo Boss y en esa ocasion me enamore del perfume y me sentia lo mas cabrón del desierto... Ese perfil citrico con olor a limpio pero vibrante y juvenil y mi probable recien aprendizaje del mundo de los perfumes me daba un cariño especial. Hoy lo volvi a comprar después de un capricho, despues de 10 años. 55 Dolares australianos (35-40$ aprox) fue una decepción total, si era lo q esperaba por los cometarios. La base del perfume sigue siendo igual pero con menos longevidad, siendo un perfume de estela ligera por no decir pobre y proyecta durante las primeras 2-3 horas siendo la ultima de una distancia muy proximal (1 mt-50 cm) de salida muy alcoholica, el aroma del perfume es rico en si. La verdad No ofrece mucho, los nuevos batch de seguro influyeron en la longevidad del perfume. Mi recomancion, guarda unos varos y ve por algo mas solido un Ysl, JPG, Giorgio Armani Hasta un arabe chingon con olor a Jeque Jaja, de otras maneras oleras a 18 añero y dejando que desear en performance. Cuando le mostre el perfume a un pana me pregunto es perfume de niño?? Jajaja Ya con eso termino mi ilusion.

I always wondered where it was I had smelt Davidoff Adventure before? I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Now I know. I had a mate who collected Hugo Boss fragrances. He had 3 of the original In Motions, etc etc, and he had this. Adventure has become one of my fragrances, so naturally inlike Energise. That being said, though, I do prefer Adventure. It just hits the right chords with me. Energise has that energizing feel that it boats, but is slightly lacking a longevity. Although I remember my friend wearin his, and can remember how well it Projected itself. The citrus note in Energize are very faint, so they're not dominating at all. Fresh.

I bought this fragrance ages ago, probably c.2004 and I never really knew what to think of it. At the time I was only 22 years old and what I remember about this fragrance is that I always got a slightly skunky-sour note from it...almost like fresh skunky marijuana! It had a very green/hash vibe to it, interlaced with fresh lemon and other citrus undertones and balanced with bright woods. I can't say I was ever in love with it, but I always reminisce about this fragrance and wish I could smell it now that I am older and have a better olfactory sense. I'm surprised none of the reviews picked up the hash vibe from this as I always did.

Very pleasant scent.Citrusi floral,woodsy on drydown,lot of components,well blended.Really energetic feel.But i noticed weakness in longevity.Part of it is very tight sprayer,somethin like Polo Fresh.So if you want any decent performance of it, you need to spray at least twice on the same place.Sprayer is that bad.And i am talking about new bottles with metal cap on top instead of integrated sprayer on old batches. I doubt also there is a watering of new batches also. Anyway,this perfume is really pleasant,for spring summer,gym,shoping,anything that last few hours. I wish it is stronger...

You know when you meet someone and don't like them at first impression? As you get to know them they actually aren't that bad. You might eventually call them a friend or at least have a mutual respect for them. That's my relationship with this cologne. During the hot summer this fragrance is cloying and a citrusy mess. It's now early November and things in the southern us are cooling down. It's not cold but like in the low 80's and 70's. This fragrance is much different to my nose in this weather. I have grown to like this fragrance in cooler weather.

beautiful SHARP pink pepper, citrusy and aromatic smell with interesting base notes but unfortunately disappointingly weak projection and sillage. Reading those comments that bought this cologne before I was born, I think Hugo Boss changed something in the new bottle creation. Because nobody can convince me this cologne is THAT powerful as it's been described here, I sprayed it on my hand 15 minutes ago to compare with YSL myself edp and I can honestly and objectively tell there is a massive canyon between the two levels of sillage

I always forget how nice this is til i return to it Multi faced for sure Leathery, sharp spicy, sweet spicy, citrus fruity, exotic fruity, fresh, sporty. Extremely masculine yet very youthful Perfectly fits a leather jacket. The leather note is already heavy, and the pink pepper and cardamom compliment it perfectly In spite of the spices, it still has some soft flowery musk faces, that merges perfectly with the other notes, especially the leather.

I'm sad from this parfume. The longevity on skin is very poor, on clothes "only" poor. After some hours it's gone at all. The smell is great on the "testing paper", but something strange, absolutely uknown on my skin. If I pour it to myself, I can "feel" it, but it's globally just common. Unidentifiable fresh and a little bit sweet, but it's far away from the YSL's sweetness (for example).

I love the smell, wish it were stronger. Not a great projector, 5 sprays on skin and 4 on clothes are needed to make it work. Great for casual use, office wear too, but I wouldn't buy another bottle of it. I used to wear this in college which is in a hot and humid city, and every one around me loved this fragrance, never choked out anyone despite over-spraying.

Boss Energize Love at first sniff! Felt in love with this juice back in mid 2000’s when it first came out & been using it ever since. It’s my favorite casual office scent along with Versace Pour Homme. Simple, modern, fresh & energizing. Longevity is about 5-6 hours with great projection. Energize and Bottled are best of Boss outings IMO

Probably one of the best cheapies ever. Great every day fragrance that you can use for any type of situation. Smells really good and has okay projection and longevity. Keep in mind tho the bottle has been updated and does not look exactly like it does on here. Anyways it’s a great fragrance that I definitely recommend!!

Fresh and clean, that's how I describe this fragance, lemon, pineapple and mint play the essential roll, they are the responsible to make the energise, the silage is low, longevity about 4 hours on me, this is the kind of fragance that you need to use it in hot weather to feel and smell what it does, very recommendable.

I used to use this fragrance quite a bit back in the day. Reminds me of fresh rain or a wet type of day. More so a spring or fall type of sweet scent. Nothing groundbreaking but it's a good one and pretty original in my opinion. Longevity could be longer but I still recommend it for a good price.

Brilliant ‘cheap’ fragrance. Good value. It’s nice and fresh. Nothing too dramatic or fancy. I find it to be fairly unique and a personal favourite of mine. It’s extremely easy to wear no matter the occasion or weather, such as going clubbing or finishing in the gym. It’s a versatile fragrance.

I think this should only be sprayed once or twice. It's really cloying if you spray more than that. I realized this when my friends complained about the smell being too cloying and strong to an extent that they asked me if I had a shower with it.

This has fresh aroma, with warm sensation and soft spicy scent. Feel sweet manly when wear it. Great at morning till afternoon. The bottle is so ergonomic in hand, but as we look, it's slightly simple shape and clear.

Pretty good frag. Definitely a freshie. Super orange forward smell. Performance is decent. Nothing much to say really. Just a really great dumb reach. Hard to find but great scent profile.

Fresh and clean. Remember those orange tablets with vitamin C. Pleasant for the summer, the same in the beginning notes of Polo Sport.
