Hugo Now

Nice soapy while smelling more substancial than a soap or spray. Works currently in November as a gym scent or homebody in front the tv watching sports. Has a fresh water aquatic note. I put the Hugo Ice up when I got this. This is like Hugo Ice parfum. I value workout scents to the point of having pre and post workout scents. This is more post. Doesn't last longer than it needs to, about 3 hours with 3 sprays. Maybe 5 hours close in. It's discontinued eBay is selling this as a rare gem, so after this bottle that's it for me. I'm not paying a higher price than what Boss Bottled Absolu is.

I wanted an aquatic fragrance and this is exactly what I got. It has become my favorite because of the balance between water, lemon and slight floral notes. It reminds me of a bit like CK one, with less citrus and powdery scent but smoother overall, giving an impression of cool lake water. I also find the scent overall is unisex, there are not any notes that would suggest males or female, just simple and clean. The design of the bottle is also simple, just frosted glass to show the teal color of the perfume, with bottle shape that fits into your hand (See my Fragram for picture).

I got a full 125ml tester on EBay for £29.99. For that price can't fault it. Cool and fresh with the vetiver to stop it being too generically blue, ideal for 20°c+ days. Hopefully we have not been locked down through the best of the weather

If you like Nautica voyage / Bvlgari aqua marine this is very similar to these two fragrances

This one is a very likable freshie. If you need your fragrances to stand out and be unique then this one isn't for you. The DNA of this scent is very typical freshie material but it's especially likable because of how fresh it really is. This is a very cooling type of freshie. I don't know what ice smells like but I really do smell something icy. This one also has mint which definitely adds to the special freshness this one has. I feel like if you put this in the fridge for a little while on an especially hot day and spray it on it would elevate the freshness even more. I really like this one but it still is quite generic like most Hugo's are. 8.5/10

I have to differ and say I like it. I’m getting that it’s not a game changer but I have it on my wrist and I like what I smell after 2-3 hours. Edit: the longevity is not there sadly. Also took a second test run tonight and I’m picking up that all too familiar transparent sweet watery note that is in Invictus Aqua and Acqua di Gio Absolu (calone I think), which I feel is a cheap move these days. I liked this but after retesting I won’t be purchasing this.

The opening is fresh and nice, „watery“ according to my husband. Later, it gets a bit spicy. I think it’s the cardamom. I don’t like this stage very much. The spice doesn’t play nicely with the fresh notes. Overall it’s a nice fragrance, but not the best from Boss. Sillage is close to the skin. Final note: 6/10

A new year another boss flanker, they seem to release one at the same time each year, as previous years this one is also a fresh citrus scent, starts off pretty boring and generic, but is suprisingly good after a couple hours, not groundbreaking but i catch plesant whiffs of it now and then and i like it.

A typical watery summer scent, has this oceanic minty lavender smell with hints of lemon dries down musky, last 6 hours max but is a skin scent by the 1st hour. Good for an after shower spray on a hot summer's day. Quite generic if I may say so. All in all a 6/10. A dumb summer reach.

Not much to say about this. It’s a very likeable standard aquatic fresh scent. Perfect for spring and summer day time use. Opens with lemon zest, mint and cardamom which works really nicely. I quite like the lemon zest in this. After around 30 minutes, the lemon zest fades away while the vevitver, mint and aquatic notes take over. It stays like this until the end of its lifespan. Longevity is around 5-6 hours on me. It projects 1ft for the first 20-30 minutes until it becomes a skin scent. It then stays a skin scent. Overall a very generic scent profile but is still likeable. I’m not a fan of marine/aquatic scents at all as it just reminds me of cheap shower gel but this is a good average scent. Overall Score : 5/10

Funny enough...Ice, yes I really do pick up the scent of ice. Mint and sweetness, a VERY generic youthful dumb reach scent profile. It is not terrible and fully in line with what it was created to do, gym scent, running quick errands in the summer heat, inoffensive at its best and least interesting. Price is ok, little high for what you are getting (especially at retail). My honest recommendation for summer with HUGO in mind, would be Boss Bottled Tonic, pricey also, but so much better IMO.

Quick review on the first cologne Ive bought after allost a decade. Was sold on it for an aquatic smell. Was ok for the price. Can’t recommend it tho. Idk if the noted have deteriorated or what but now when i use it and i sweat i smell straight alcohol on me lol. Its more of a summer scent when it was new.

Hugo Boss Now smells like the most typical blue fragrance you can think of. Not that that's a bad thing, it's a really enjoyable scent. Where it loses almost all it's points is it's longevity. It's almost non-existent.

I like this perfume very much. As for me, it is a slight fresh modification of a well-known perfume that I was looking for years without knowing the name. It is somehow old-fashioned, deep, velvet, rich, varying, attractive, intriguing. I think, this molecule is very well known for professionals. The original perfume may have ten or twenty years behind it. I capture such a smell once a year on somebody but for one or another reason I have had no chance to ask about the name of the house/perfume. So I have bought a couple of flasks and I am happy with this. But for curiosity, could somebody please tell me what is the original perfume behind this one?

To put it simply : I love it, I love it, I love it. Recalling when I was young imagining what scent I'm a looking for a fragrance and this is it, I found it after 25 years. I have lots of fragrances, designers and niche that I like a lot. But this one is in my top 3. It never gives me a headache. The only caveat is that current batches have very bad atomisers. Somehow when you press the spray it always blocks.

Fresh zesty opening blast but on my skin this was so fleeting,very quickly became a skin scent losing the nice citrus in the process, which was shame (to me at least). I might give it another try some time, perhaps it'll work better on a warm sunny day as the watery & minty aroma seems tailor made for the heat.

New fragrance tried on the arm today. Very fresh, I feel well the aquatic note, mint and cardamom. I think it looks like Versace pour homme. Nice bottle like the whole Hugo line. Very low performance, with 2 sprays after 30 minutes he didn't project anymore and he became a skin scent. I wouldn't buy it. 5/10

Very good. Much better than "Jeans" or "intense". It haven't sharp angles, all the composition still smooth, without sudden chemical notes. Mixed very carefully. But soapy. But it left stains on clothes. Maybe original Hugo still as good as this. Alas, discontinued P.S. Very long lasts on clothes

I would say it is a decent proposal for a summer/office/sport fragrance. Moderate performance and the scent can say is one level up from similar rivals in the blue/fresh/aquatic category. Will not blow your mind away but its worth a try if you are a fan of blue frags.
