Hummer Black

1st time reviewer here. I really enjoy this product from Hummer. Not sure if anyone has noticed but I feel it has a similar vibe & scent profile to YSL La Nuit De L"homme Le Parfum. Obviously not identical, bc YSL is of much higher quality, more refine & mature, but Hummer Black imo would be a cheap alternative..

Very nice hidden gem. i like the smokyness that adds that masculine touch. this smells really good for going out late or to a party. i really like this despite the hideous bottle lmao. nice atomizer tho XD.

Hummer Black isn't bad at all, but is only moderately potent. It has a fresh woody smell with some florals. I can detect a cedar note in there too and tobacco is faintly present. An inexpensive and pleasant scent with a nice dry down. However, I wouldn't get it again, it's not memorable (or potent) enough. It's got to be 5/10 for me

It's a nice Woody Aromatic with reasonable price ! A bit mature , The Performance is poor, but It smells so good and very pleasant. I am a fan of the Hummer perfumes, This is suitable for the spring , summer and fall. I like Hummer Black EDT for Men. Rating : 7 / 10

It is an average cologne nothing special.Good for casual use.Its a lil bit smoky and alil bit woodsy. Overall:- 3.9/5

I quite liked the very first Hummer fragrance. It wasn't the powerhouse I was expecting it to be, but it ended up being a great casual fragrance for the average working man. Then came Hummer H2: a standard spicy oriental with horrible longevity and sillage that took the Hummer fragrance line in a downward trajectory. Now we have Hummer Black. To be honest, after the disaster that was H2, I was expecting Black to be horrible. I was not looking forward to trying out this fragrance. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised. Let me be very clear though: Hummer Black is not going to blow your mind. This is not a hidden gem that the fragrance community is in the dark about. This is a decent fragrance that is much better than H2, but not as good as the original. Surprisingly, this has a very fruity opening; something I wasn't expecting with a fragrance called Hummer Black. After it settles in, a tart green apple note pops out quite noticeably. It smells a little synthetic, but considering the price I can't really complain. The fruity opening eventually subsides and a floral wave of orris, lotus and violet leaf takes over. Usually when fragrances have an abundance of florals they come across quite feminine, but this is not the case with Hummer Black. The florals in Black combined with the other notes make this fragrance unquestionably masculine. Eventually, rugged woody notes enter the picture and accompany the florals to create a beautiful aromatic scent. Once you enter the dry down, the florals leave and you're left with woods, musk, incense and a dry tobacco that create a very dark, earthy scent. The dry down is too stale and bitter for my liking, but everything that comes before it is quite nice. Overall, Hummer Black is decent; not great, but certainly not as bad as Hummer H2. To its credit, it is quite multi-layered, which you don't really expect from a budget fragrance. If you liked the first Hummer fragrance I would suggest picking up a bottle of Black because it might be up your alley. That's definitely a gamble, but considering the price it's a gamble worth taking.

The review by maiker below - ignore it. Leather? This is utter crap. After the first two laughable efforts by Hummer, I figured they might redeem themselves with this, but nope. The utter crap comment I made doesn't even have anything to do with the scent because I can't f#*$%ing smell it! All I get is the apple for a few seconds and then I have to stick my wrist into my nose to get a very faint, cheap, synthetic tobacco note and that is it! Show over! Even though I paid only 19.99 for a gift set, (4.2 oz edt and 2.6 oz deodorant stick) I still feel totally ripped off! And Hummer Fragrances has this (just the cologne) listed on their website for $54.99, and describes it as "long lasting"! Hah! Seriously, don't even bother with this garbage.

Reviews on here are pretty accurate for once. Nothing special and very average. Would never by again and it sits in my cologne shelf for years with no rotation. 4/10

I buy this today, nice mature fragance, open with a mix of tabaco and leather. then is calm-down with a nice woody manly smell. nice for a sexy night. ;)

For the price its not a bad cologne...most places now you can find it for 20 dollars-

It's not too bad and not too good kind of perfume but ok to buy once.
