Travertino

I wished I had tripped over this amazing scent sooner! Travetino has a definite similarity to Dulce Passione as indicated by the above votes, but in my opinion, this is a vastly superior. This opens with a deep, dark and decadent cacao, its slightly mysterious yet gourmand aroma captivating your attention in the first minute. As it settles, it becomes fruitier with the peach, plum and mango melange coming to the fore, supported by a sweet, fresh bouquet of heliotrope and orchids on a bed of creamy vanilla and sandalwood, providing a luxurious and comforting undercurrent. This might sound awfully sweet, but the cacao is still there, tempering the sweetness and adding an extra dimension of sensuality. The blend is amazingly smooth with ample strength, while being void of any scratchiness or overtly prominent tones, such as a the acrid, synthetic wood accord found in Dulce Passione.

The most gorgeous of all the cacao fragrances. An exotic melange of tropical fruits, deep dark cacao, smooth presently noticeable coffee notes, vanilla and tropical florals (orchid) its lush and entirely delectable. For the chocolate and gourmand lovers alike, but also for anyone who loves rich dark coffees and tropical cornucopias, this is the cacao gourmand masterpiece of my fragrance dreams. Arturetto Landi has done it again! Anything that this man creates is exquisite. This is so yummy and addictive. A true gurmand, coffee with black chocolate being the central piece of this perfume. Fruits and flowers only have a subsidiary, uplifting role. Medium longevity and sillage, this is one to savour on your own.

I've been seeking a deep sweet cocoa/coffee scent and my search is over. This is decadent and sweet without being cloying or nauseating. It's balanced and beautiful, a scent that always invites me to close my eyes, breathe deeply, and stand in power before entering Outside.
