Talco Delicato

People, this is natural fragrance, spray on skin + cloth. Then You can still smell the scent on next day too <3 This is Love for me. Like most of them fumes of this House. *** <3<3<3 ***

Picked this up in Italy last year after exhausting a decant I had many years ago. The packaging is different now, but the scent is the same. Opens slightly sharp from the lemon/ citrus and a touch of violet, but this dries down quickly into a warm, comforting and powdery vanilla. Even though iris isn't listed, the powdery notes give that feeling. I've been told it smells like baby powder, but elevated. I love it in the depths of winter cold and the height of summer heat - at night, specifically. It's also nice in the fall as it starts to get cool. Similar to LV Teint de Neige, but with less of that makeup/ lipstick vibe (no rose or jasmine).

Very sad that this didn't work on me. This smells like baby oil and vanilla, cloying and headache inducing. Lasting power was great though! But it's definitely not for me.

Talco Delicato by I Profumi di Firenze smells as the name suggests; of talcum powder. This fragrance is a sweet interpretation of baby powder with a hint of sugared lemon, drizzly honey and whipped cream. Despite the sweet notes, this scent is not a gourmand. The composition is powdery for the most part, with a smooth vanillic sweetness. Talco Delicato is a fragrance perfect for a young girl, provided that it is applied with a light hand. Many reviewers complain that this fragrance doesn't last long on the skin, however, I found it to be excellent in regards to its longevity. Talco Delicato had moderate sillage and lasted approximately 6 hours on my warm skin. My partner wasn't blown away by this fragrance, yet he found it pleasant enough. I own Talco Delicato in the form of a small decant but had I owned the bottle, I dare say I would use it for layering purposes. Although pleasant, I can't help but feel like something is missing. Talco Delicato is missing a dirty musk or woods accord to tame the sweetness. I Profumi di Firenze is an Italian fragrance house formed in 1990 by a pharmacist named Giovanni Di Massimo. His brand is centred on the secret scent recipes of the perfumes used by princess Caterina dé Medici. Many of his fragrances are either soliflores or focused on a singular note. His brand is very similar to another well-known Italian house, Santa Maria Novella. You could argue that Giovanni Di Massimo sought inspiration from this house, and that Talco Delicato is similar to Santa Maria Novella's Iris and Porcellana.

This was the first niche-esque perfume I ever bought. It’s essentially a nuclear vanilla baby powder but you can just smell they put effort and dollars into it. I know how polarizing baby powder is but I’ve always loved it and think it’s so cute and nostalgic. This one I wore a lot when I was dancing and just got sick of it over time. I forgot it at my granny’s house one wknd and she asked to keep it so I gave it to her. I think she uses it as a bedtime/bathroom scent now. I still really like it but I get a similar effect from body fantasies baby mist and don’t really miss it. If someone gifted me this I would use it just not on my body
