Tenero Narciso

First one in! Tenero Narciso was released by I Profumi di Firenze in October of 2015, so it's a fairly recent launch. I purchased this completely blind so I will include one of the write ups that I eventually found regarding it. According to Perfumemaster.org (accessed 3/8/2016): "I Profumi di Firenze Tenero Narciso - Tender Narcissus, influenced by the Tyrolean Narcissus flower that blossoms incredibly in the grasslands of the Italian Alps, this fresh floral perfume comes with notes of geranium, moss, jasmine and musk. I Profumi di Firenze Tenero Narciso 50ml EDP - Eau de Parfum" Now onto my Review: I've tried many perfumes at this point, but I've never gotten a perfume, uncapped the bottle, and immediately upon first sniff declared it just the prettiest thing. It smelled like spring. The perfume dries down to a powdery rose musk. The blase dry down is what prevents me from swooning over this. Now, caveat emptor regarding application--- Although the character of the fragrance is soft, the sillage and longevity of it are beastly. A very very very very very very small amount will do. Did I say very? I sprayed waaaaaaaaaaaay too much on and now I am wanted in my state for assault with malicious intent, lol. Seriously, go very easy with this one. Now, is it worth the niche level price (I purchased this seriously discounted which is the only way that I could justify such an extremely blind buy)? Well...let's talk about the dry down. Remember I said that it was "blase". Yeah...perhaps it would be awe inspiring if I had not come across it before, but I have. The dry down reminds me of Al Rehab Roses which can be had for a song. The benefit in Tenero Narciso is that although I know synthetics were also likely used in the formula (possibly loads of geraniol), unlike Al Rehab Roses, there is no metallic artificial note which often makes people complain about that particular CPO. Everything comes off as very realistic. To that end, it's worth the outlay. However if you can't stand Al Rehab Roses or can take it or leave it? Then it would likely be a "Meh" for you.
