DON'T GET TOO CLOSE, IT'S DARK INSIDE [short review] Iceberg is an Italian designer that has impressed me very little until now. The bottles are cute, the prices are low and the fragrances are honest... I can't think of anything else to say from the Iceberg past. Then, in 2022, something seemed to change. I heard some comments, got curious and decided to test a new Iceberg which, I was told, could even sink a Titanic. The first impression - the visual one - didn't bode well. An ordinary, almost anaemic bottle with an imprssionist blue label that looked like it belonged on a drugstore shelf. ‘This is off to a bad start,’ I thought disappointedly. ‘The presentation has regressed from the once beautiful 74. What's important is that there's more to smell here. I'm not going to leave my nose abstemious today,’ I said, just in case and to console myself for the time I'd wasted in the meantime. puff... puff... puff... (3 sprays on the back of my hand, just the way I like it) The opening is indeed fresh and spicy, with light citrus notes and a touch of saffron. Right from the start, the tobacco in the background is noticeable along with the fresh spices. ‘People who see faces don't see hearts...’ I said to the air. And it really was love at first sniff! After a dozen minutes, the leather also became noticeable. ‘Whoa... We've reached the first checkpoint,’ I continued my monologue. The leather was noticeable, yes, but in the background. It's a very ‘duty free’ leather, but never presumptuous, as it clearly never stands out. And I like exactly this combination of ‘the tobacco goes further and the leather goes further back’! It's striking because it's so good, but it's never intrusive. There's no need to add any red berries to tame the leather down, as it arrives with absolute calm. The base of woods and amber is also very convincing and allows you to happily continue the journey till the dry-down end. However, I have to confess that the aroma of tobacco and chic leather also gets stuck in the drying hours. Performance is more than acceptable and, if a few sprays get on your clothes, you'll have a pleasant memory aid the next day. MY OPINION: Costing between 15 and 20 euros, this fragrance is a complete must-have, even if you buy it blind. It evokes Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, Costume National Soul, Guerlain L'Homme Ideal and even SpiceBomb Extreme. But the real inspiration comes from the very good, and tragically always sold out, L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Noir Ambré. I don't know how Iceberg does it with their releases. The price / offering for a lot of their offerings is phenomenal! So let me be as simple, but clear as possible. This to me smells almost exactly like Issey Miyake Noir Ambre, just mixed with that tobacco note from Thierry Mugler's Pure Havane. The main difference is that the leather note in here is slightly less animalic than in Noir Ambre, which I like a lot more. Strong leather notes can be a hit or miss, cause it often gives that bit of a funky/animalic feel to it that you either like or don't. The performance is not on par with either of the previously mentioned ones. Projection is OK for the first hour, after that it settles fairly quickly and lasts a total of about 6h. Still absolutely stunning how they can offer such a niche like / designer exclusive dna for such a solid price. If you like Noir Ambre and are looking for a substitute or a different take on it a la Pure Havane, for the price it goes for, don't even think about it and just buy it, it will make your day. Overall rating: 7.3/10

I found a deal for 100ml bottle + shower gel gift set for just 15 EUR and bought it right away. Lovely fragrance! It smells maybe 70-80% like Pure Havanne and reminds me just a little of something in the style of Dolce and gabbana the one Edp. It is not as smooth and has less of the honey-cherry sweetness of Pure Havanne, and sharper tobacco and saffron. The bitter orange fades away after the first 1hour, and makes it less interesting. The dry down is a common but pleasant woody, ambery, tobacco skin scent. Very long lasting - 12 hours on skin with moderate projection for around 6 hours, and then it becomes a skin scent. Maybe the best bang for buck combinaton I ever came across. I dont know why nobody speaks about this... Winter and autumn, date night, all age...

For me it is Tobacco Vanille without Vanille You can smell all of the listed notes but what is great about this fragrance is quality- the price is low and it isn’t synthetic. It opens with cherry tobacco and smells quite similar to Tobacco Vanille but it is less sweet and more spicy and woody- overall I can say that it is a masculine version of TFTV. Drydown is sweet, powdery and woody. Longevity and sillage is very good- maybe not the best but for the price I can’t complain. Atomizer- veeery good, shoots a lot of juice My only complain is the bottle- it just looks cheap and it doesn’t resemble the character of the juice.

This stuff has no right being as good as it is at the price point it can be had for. Previous reviews referencing Soul and Noir Ombre are spot-on. This is somewhere in between, maybe a touch closer to Noir Ombre. Absolutely incredible pickup if you like that style of DNA. I own both of the aforementioned fragrances, and I was pleasantly surprised when I sprayed this on (straight out-of-the-box). Wow. Longevity seems to be pretty good, and sillage is as well. At least, for my first wearing. Super glad I decided to grab this one.

Just got this. What a bargain this is! I get, tobacco, woods, fruit and spices with some booze and cola. Similar to CK One Shock but, you know, this just may be nicer. Performance is very good and the price point is...well.... silly. I'm glad I read the reviews here and bought this, it's a beauty. *Update* Definitely nicer than Shock. I'm amazed how nice this is.

My notable buys of 2024: Best: Prada L'homme Intense....why? because it exudes quality and it lasts. Nicest surprise: Change the Flow - Iceberg....why? because it is cheap and has a great smell and performance. Worst: Match Point parfum....why? because it's a parfum but has a terrible performance, shame nice smell. HAVE A GOOD 2025.

Not bad overall, great for the price: I think I paid about $20 for it. I get the comparison to Noir Ambré on the opening and start of dry-down with the cedar, leather, saffron, (and vanilla even though it's not a listed note) but it quickly turns very similar to Raghba or 24 Gold. It's not nearly as strong or long lasting as 24 Gold, but that stuff is legendary for it's potency. I think it's a safe blind buy for anyone that likes that style of fragrance, but is redundant for me as I already own several in the same style. It's a great scent for fall and winter. This is in no way close to being a replacement for Noir Ambré (I can speak as somewhat of an authority on that as I've owned 9 bottles of Noir Ambré), but I can see it scratching a similar itch for some. I think this is much closer to 24 Gold even though it seems most people think it's similar to Noir Ambré.

To begin with I want to say that the sticker on the bottle seems to be a joke, I hared it so much that I had to rip it off the bottle just after two days of looking at it. Now the flacon looks classy and corresponds more to the perfume.The scent is pleasing. It has a warm and cosy character, not a challenging one, maybe even too straighforward and safe. All in all a good one. Unfortunately the longevity is on the lower end of moderate ( 3h tops) and then it sits very close to the skin. I tried to apply more but it did not help much. Now I use it only as an evening home scent and as that I like it very much. Edit: compared this to Costume national Soul and I can see the resemblence between the two, so if one is thinking about buying Soul then Iceberg may be the perfect material to test. After a while they go separate way though and Soul gets thicker and heavier.

This is opens with some sweetness and dry spiciness. It's somewhat muddled and sits on the skin with little projection. The ginger and saffron are very linear. The tobacco is warm and soft, the leather is quiet. This tobacco would be similar to the tobacco found in Spicebomb or something comparable. This is pleasant but not overly unique. Good value for your money. More of a younger man's fragrance but middle-aged guys can wear it as well. Office safe. Go heavy on the trigger.

Current trend. Spicy, western output of a middle eastern feel. Excellent value for those on a budget. Good gift for clubbing youth. It's like eating an apple pie in a souk, while sitting in a luxury leather lounger sipping on a spicy orange tea and watching my beautiful but bored arab girlfriend yawn and smoke. Gives me a winter holiday vibe too. Most likely a clone of some crazy expensive niche perfume.

Was hoping I had found a yet undiscovered hidden gem when I bought this, but am only mildly enthousiastic about it. The scent is pretty tobacco-centric and can be positioned somewhere in between CK One Shock, Lanvin Avantgarde and Spicebomb Extreme, is fairly lineair and not too potent. I only paid around 20 Euro for a nice gift set (100 ml EDT + 100 ml shower gel), which is a real steal.

Spicy, fruity tobacco. The leather is rather just a background, don't count on it too much. Reminds me of Christmas time, like dried fruits & cinnamon vibes. Surprisingly nice blend for the price and performance is really good too, at least on my skin (~8-10h).

It smells very close to swiss arabian tobacco 01, which also smells similar to Side Effect. This should be at the top of the reminds me section. Also similar to Oud Armaf, though i prefer this.

Really surprising. It's like CK Shock but with actual longevity and smooth, delicate spiciness. A must have for the price

I honestly don’t know what’s going on with me... I’ve smelled this perfume three or four times on a tester in a store, and every single time it was WOW. I was even surprised how cheap it was. But I never actually bought it. Now that I finally did and sprayed it on myself... it’s NOT the same scent. I don’t understand how that’s even possible. I was expecting something specific, fresh, but what I got is woody, almost like an old-school/retro men’s fragrance, kind of like a pine forest. I’m really annoyed because it feels like I wasted money for nothing. I was so sure I finally found the one.

I keep getting wafts of what reminds me of 24 GOLD, same cedar/sandalwood combo maybe ??....or something slightly similar to that mysterious raspberry/cherry note that also didnt get listed in 24 Gold... but we all knew it was there. This is not as sweet or as strong thou but defo very similar

This one was at my local pharmacy for £14/100ml., and after reading so many positive reviews here, I decided to blind buy. Just awful. Nauseating. Smells like a cheap room or car deodoriser. Chemical mess comes to mind. I'm not saying these things for dramatic effect. As I write this, a sharp unpleasant cherry type chemical smell is wafting up from me spraying it on this morning. Unfortunately it has decent longevity. It's hard to reconcile the 4.27 score above to what I'm smelling. I threw it in the trash this afternoon.

his perfume bears absolutely no resemblance to *Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille*. If I were to draw a comparison, it might faintly echo *Zara Rich Warm Addictive* – though even that similarity is minimal. This is a composition built around synthetic saffron, laced with cognac, and softened by subtle woody and spicy accents. Its sillage and longevity far exceed what many reviewers claim. Frankly, I’m not sure what they’re comparing it to – though I’d happily take a bottle or two off their hands if they’re unimpressed! To illustrate: I applied it at 8 a.m., and by 11 a.m., my wife remarked on how pleasant I smelled. As I write this at 10 p.m., the scent still lingers distinctly – a continuous, warm presence throughout the day. For the price, it’s nothing short of brilliant. That said, its potency means I’d reserve it for occasions rather than daily wear. A fragrance this bold demands discernment.

@Konitz, omg I did the same thing 😂. I got this fragrance because I fell in love with four other fragrances from Iceberg that I ended up buying all men’s fragrances from them and when I got this one, I hated the look. It felt so cheap and so careless by the house. Maybe it’s more for young guys. Concerning the scent it’s not bad. It reminded me of one or the fragrances by Ted Baker. I think it’s the copper one. The only bad thing is that this fragrance becomes a skin scent after.
