Iceberg Since 1974 for Her

This is my favorite freshie! I don't get the hype around Zara's Vetiver Pamplemouse, which is a nice, but pretty basic grapefruit scent that I don't notice on me within a few minutes of spraying. This one is more nuanced. The mint gives it a nice freshness, and it lasts! Love it!

My favorite fresh fragrance. Crispy fresh. It is the only one I can detect clearly the grapefruit. If only it lasted longer....

Generally speaking all Iceberg fragrances are nice and well made. My favorites to date are the original from 1989 and the Iceberg fragrance from 2008 (that bottle!). This scent is also housed in an interesting bottle which also serves as little indication on what's inside. A sporty fragrance, with a slightly masculine touch. The ginger, mint and citrus notes are very prominent in the beginning. The middle phase of the fragrance is - unfortunately - too sweet on my skin. (Agree with you, just floral, candy comes to mind) but the dry down is woody and fresh again. Quite a nice ride! Will keep an eye on this one :)

The best Iceberg I've tested so far. I've found it similar to L'Eau Lait Corporel by Biotherm. I can smell: grapefruit/lemon + sweet flag (Acorus calamus) + red berries (red currant) + sweet candy vitamins (colorful powdery bears, apes, animals).

A sportier version of My Way. This could be a flanker of Armani My Way. Perhaps, My Way "Eau de Sport" or something like that. Yes, Since 1974 came out in 2018, before My Way. Since 1974 is an orange-blossomy & lightweight tuberose bubble-gum accord that is purple in color. It is less potent and heavy than My Way, Paradoxe, Fakhar Rose, and the other super-powered, hyper-sweet white floral fragrances dominating the market in 2024. There is no transition with Since 1974 - so the start of the fragrance is all that you smell throughout its life. Very interesting that Iceberg was snoopy around a gold-mine and sadly it will not get the credit it deserves (much like YSL Opium Homme does not get credit for being a father of PR 1 Million).
