Lettre a Anna

Smell of waxed candle, warmth, its burning desire, compressed by darkness of the night. Ylang is sensual, in orange zest, moss gives depth and adds seriousness to the moment, its not playful, but passionate rose, mellow, almost honeyed in coriander – beautiful solution to create the smell of vintage sleeky perfumed paper...Lover writes the letter to beloved one, maybe she is married and maybe he is drunk. I would bet there is an accord of something like brandy in it. I love coriander in rose generally - but this one-beyond admiration. Base is solid, opulent, rich, woodsy....Very impressive. Its not just nice or to be liked, for this fragrance is only – to be loved and treasured. Don't know where Isabel Derroisne brand takes such ingredients and what sort of team works under perfumes, but their inspiration is big pleasure to my mind and nose. And the bottle is just wow! Old inkstand with lid as top of St.Basil's Cathedral? The name on bottle is written both in French and in Russian. Another wow. Millions of wows.

Another masterpiece of this house! It is so wonderful... i just cannot explain! Thanks to my twin TRIPLEX I am expecting a larger bottle, so I do not have to sniff endlessly on my mini! Does anyone know if this house is related to Yves Rocher? It should explain why they make such good quality fragrances, and always in the 50 ml amount...that way the bottle is quicker empty and you need to buy another one sooner! :-(

Love the fragrance, but very disappointed in the performance. It smells very feminine in the sense of a gathering of women sharing personal stories that men would like to listen in on. So, for me, this is not a woman being with a man. This is a man dreaming of a woman.

Classic women's chypre, very feminine and romantic. Multifaceted, warm, sweet, mossy, and at the same time you can breathe freely, like in nature. Beautiful floral heart!

Why has it been discontinued? Can we please get it back? I want to buy it . I do not like the new version "Lettre a Anna Delicate" and I cannot find a connection between those two scents.

It's more interesting than Letre a anna delicate. And it's not too citrusy for my happiness. Elegant night scent.

The only think I could say is - the smell of fragrant roses with dewdrops glittering on them. I do really adore it!
