Cashmere Show Pony

I bought a sample at the end of the summer and really enjoyed it. I definitely get a combination of coconut and vanilla initially but it has a uniqueness that I haven't smelt before. The coconut is slightly airy, a bit fibrous smelling and a little earthy. I was intrigued by the passion flower note, and wouldn't have had any idea what that smelt like, save for the fact I have one other perfume (Annwyn by Ikiryo) that has this note, and I understand the similarity totally being able to compare across the two. The passion flower adds a petally florality, it hints at a tropical vibe without totally going there. There is a creaminess to the scent from the vanilla I assume, but it's not heavy and although I do think it's delicious smelling, it's not completely gourmand either - I would say it's a balmy tropical coconut floral with a gourmand undertone. The leather is completely imperceptible for me (I was initially a bit concerned as it's not a note I tend to like) and I can't say the candyfloss comes through either (in that although this is definitely sweet, it's not sugary as such). Overall I actually think this will end up being a year round scent for me, which is what made me pull the trigger today on a full bottle - I can't say that I have (m)any coconut dominant scents that manage to work for autumn / winter too, but the vanilla and earthy aspects here make think this will. A surprisingly unique composition!

this is a white musk work of genius that blends creamy coconut with fluffy cashmere and cotton candy. the perfumer ingeniously threw in an exotic flower to enhance its tropical personality. the passion flower blends harmoniously with the other notes, and becomes more apparent in the dry-down. but at first, cashmere show pony is but a bottled sugar cube. i honestly never predicted i would ever wear a gourmand but cashmere show pony changed my mind and i want to bathe in this masterpiece. it’s mouthwatering. wear this, and everyone will want to take a bite out of you

This is beautiful and unique. Not a prominent creamy coconut but like coconut water instead. It feels light and fresh even for the warmest summer day. The floral undertones are just the right balance to make it an adult still sweet fragrance. Sugary musk on the dry down. Really delightful. Amazing longevity and great sillage. I am very happy. They have a couple of fragrances to die for. Pistachio Voodoo Child is one of them and then Bohemian Water which is very pleasant for all year round. The quality here is 100% good!

Very beautiful coconut fragrance, groundbreaking with the floral touch. I don’t understand the hate. Try it firsthand and don’t let the bitter trolls from Fragrantica influence your experience with this one. It’s a beauty— nothing like the ones in the reminds me of section up here. Pleasant to wear. Great longevity with moderate sillage. Love it. Full bottle material 😍

So soft, just like cashmere sprayed with love and obsession over coconut. Milky, well blended and very comfortable to wear. Just gorgeous!

Reminds me of a Vegas hotel, specifically the MGM Grand when I travelled there had a distinctly coconut air freshener scent. The toasted coconut is interesting, I think it’s saved by the sweetness of the cotton candy. There was a slight mildew moment in the opening but that passed quickly. I don’t think there’s anything out there like this fragrance. There is a cashmere coziness in the base which turns this one into a Like, but we’re not in Love.

This is a really nice coconut scent that's not artificial but I keep getting a peppery note in the background and it's throwing me off

This smells just like the Vacation face sunscreen spray!

I get some hay and milky cinnamon... as it dries down I get a rice pudding ? Not full bottle worthy in my opinion ... it’s ok... not a love. I would rate this a 6/10

first note is desicated coconut and sunscreen... then later i smell my wrist and am reminded of when as a young girl the dentist would ask what flavor of fluoride i wanted on my teeth, to which i would respond bubblegum, to which i would be overcome with a cold, artificial, bubblegum paste that was both gritty, slick, unbearably sweet and would linger for hours afterward absolutely nauseating edit: i dislike it less now that it's settled for a few hours-- pleasant cotton candy (and i'm getting a note of mildew?) but that does not redeem this perfume. i thought about showering just to get it off

This scent was not for me, really wanted more coconut out of it. To me it smells like the pink soap in public bathrooms mixed with dense potpourri.

A sugary sunscreen. Plasticky, synthetic.

Tutti Frutti tropical chewing gum! Sweet, bright, juicy and fun! I guess the combination of the passion flower with cotton candy is giving off the sunshiney fruit plate vibe. Unfortunately there is more ingenuity and originality in the perfume name than in the scent itself! Edit: after allowing this sample to sit for 3 or 4 months, I have revisited it and to my delight I have discovered it features a salty skin-like scent that I really love. Likely, the white musk. I can't believe there are no tropical fruits listed as notes in here. I still get the fruit salad sugariness but I'm finding the juxtaposition with the more savoury white musk to be both addictive and extremely enjoyable.

One of my favorite purchases recently by far. I went into a store and said I wanted something that smelled like an angel on a cloud, and this is what I was recommended. It's truly cozy in a bottle, I can't get enough of it, it's essentially what I wanted blanche bete to be instead of sweet-sour milk. It smells like a hug from your favorite cashmere sweater if you're on the porch of your hamptons house looking at the sundown in front of the ocean. Does it last forever? no. Does it project well? Also no. But I really don't mind it, it makes me feel so happy and warm when I wear it.

This is so interesting. Loving the coconut, lactonic opening! I haven't smelled anything similar, ever, but the sweet note is just too much for me. In its defense, I feel similar about most sweet perfumes I try- ie Printemps Blanc- LOVE so much about it but the bubblegum note kills it for me. Anyway, it's worth a test if you love sweet and lactonic coconut scents! Ps it does give sunscreen so if you dont like that, skip this one. Eta- I do get the leathery note deep down- I wish it were stronger because I think it would cut through some of the sugar.

I was really excited to receive this and waited patiently for my decant from Pafory. It arrived and when I sprayed this, I could not really detect any coconut or lactonic notes aside from the opening for 2-3 seconds. It quickly settles into a fruity passionfruit scent with very little of the milky notes. Not sure if it's just my skin chemistry --it's a beautiful scent, but it doesn't smell completely the way it's supposed to based on the notes. There's a clean musk underneath this and with the passionfruit, it reminds me a lot of Molinard Nirmala.

Always on the hunt for THE perfect coconut fragrance, I had to give this one a try. On my skin, though, it's mostly just musk. I don't get any coconut or cotton candy, unfortunately. Surprisingly, my husband says it smells like dried coconut shavings 😁

What the..... this smells like pickle juice! Gross... How?! Perhaps if you like Santal 33 you might enjoy this but for me this is a pass. Masculine.

This is a very soapy and simple, clean scent. I don’t really detect any coconut in this, it’s more of a musky and floral scent.

Am I tripping or is this similar to Mugler Womanity?

Minerally and fresh. A mood booster in a bottle.
